I get my facials done with Linh and it is the perfect hour long pampering session! I get the customized facial, and I just let her do her thing. She is located in a small studio and runs everything single handed-ly, so only one person at a time. The room is clean and cozy. Highly recommend if you want a simple but effective facial specific to your skin's needs! read more

I have never had a facial before, and I am grateful that I experienced my first one at Silk Skin Studio. When I described my skin sensitivities, the estheticians at Silk Skin Studio were extremely considerate and explained that the products they used were organic, gentle, and suitable for people with sensitive skin. Upon entering the suite, I already sensed a calm ambience. I was warmly greeted by the estheticians and a light aroma that surrounded the room. She proceeded with the facial, washing my face and using a lot of cooling products. She applied the products and massaged my face in a soothing manner, and I was becoming very relaxed. The things I enjoyed most about the facial treatment were the cleanser at the beginning that had a light acai fragrance and left my skin feeling very clean, and the warm towels that were used throughout the process. I also had an eye massage and red light therapy to reduce inflammation, and it was really fun and my first time having those. I am at the age where I am becoming more interested in facial treatments and spas since they are a suggested bonding activity to do with friends or bridal parties while helping to maintain skin health and mental health. I was a bit apprehensive entering, but speaking with the estheticians helped ease my nervousness and made me less self-conscious about my skin. Also, I felt the results instantly when I left. My skin was a lot more hydrated and smoother than it usually is, and a lot of the acne I have been dealing with the past few weeks was almost undetectable after this facial session. I am glad to have been handled with so much care at this studio. read more

I got the Korean Glass Skin Facial with Carolyn. It's been a while since I last visited Silk Skin Studio, and I was very impressed by the new additions Linh had made. There's now an area where you can test various Eminence products before purchasing. The products used during the Korean Glass Skin Facial smelled very nice, fruity, and not too overpowering. Carolyn used ultrasound infusion and microcurrents, which felt nice and made the serum absorb very quickly into my skin. My favorite part was the hot towel after the moisturizing sheet mask. After the facial, my skin looked flawless! It always looks amazing after a facial, but this truly makes it look like the coveted glass skin. I'd look forward to getting this facial or booking with Carolyn again. read more

Linh is the absolute BEST. I went to prep for my south Indian wedding a few times leading up to it. She helped my skin so so much, my whole family goes now! I recently booked a session with Vy. I highly recommend her! 1. Great service 2. Super nice 3. VERY knowledgeable about skincare. Vy is like a skincare coach! If you need a facial, but also have questions about your skin (e.g active acne, acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, anti-aging), evaluating your routine at home, or your current products, then try a session with Vy. I mainly use her for a relaxing facial each month, but also to provide feedback on treating my actual skin concerns, which is scarring and acne. She's like a skin coach! She's an esthetician you can actually trust because she's very up-to-date and has done her research. You can tell she's very passionate about her job. read more

TLDR; I didn't know it was so painful to get your blackheads removed but Linh did a great job and made my experience very delightful. Love love love Linh!!!! I've been trying to find a place to get a facial done but haven't had any luck until I came across Silk Skin Studio! My main concern was my blemished skin and my blackheads that desperately needed to be removed. One of the treatments Linh offers is a 50 min Teen facial which focused more on dead skin, whiteheads and blackheads which was perfect for me! Her place is very nicely decorated and is veryyyyy relaxing. It was so hard to not fall asleep while I was there. She first started off with explaining how she does her treatments and products which was very nice since I am totally new to all of this. Instead of doing the same type of treatment on everyone's skin, she said she personalizes it depending on their skin type which is awesome because not everyone has the same type of skin condition!! The treatment itself was very calming and relaxing. My skin looked amazing after and was very glowy after just 1 treatment which amazed me. It has been 3 days since my treatment and my skin is still very glowy and my blemished skin is starting to even out. I am definitely loving my skin more now. You can tell Linh is very passionate about what she does. She wants the best for her clients and only uses the best quality products. She was very kind to me and answered all the questions I had and gave me some samples of her products. She also gave me a cute lotion and gel set and offered some Longan tea and chocolate. Sooooo sweet of her!! She really goes above and beyond. I can't wait to see Linh again for my treatments!!!! read more

I never had any facial experiences before but having my first time here changed my mind to consider implementing them into my self care routine! This was more than I could have asked for, including welcoming care and professional knowledge! First entering you can already tell Silk Skin Studio takes pride in creating a relaxing and clean atmosphere for their clients. I have been dealing with inconsistent adult acne that would come and go and Silk Skin provides me the healing care as well as knowledge on how to better treat my skin outside the studio. I am SO glad I found Linh! I moved from San Diego to the south bay over a year ago and had an aesthetician there that I adored. I tried a couple folks in the bay who just didn't seem to have the expertise and services I really wanted, but then I found Linh! My skin issues and hopes: I have acne-prone skin maintained with medication (shoutout PCOS) that tends towards dryness. I'm also in my early 30s and wanting to maintain hydration, exfoliation, and vibrance to help my skin be the best it can be. I'm looking for glow and clarity--the dream, right? And yall, I got it. I do already have a robust skincare routine that looks its best with medication and regular facials so I cannot promise results that are similar, but I do think regular facials from folks using quality products and evidence-based practices is the key when combined with a solid routine! First of all, Linh is really kind. She is really responsive, confirms the appointment and provides specific directions to the office, and is extremely kind and patient. Her office is peaceful and well curated, and I never felt confused or unsure about the service I was receiving. Since it was my first time seeing her, I had booked a consult and a hydroderm facial (the facial I loved with my previous aesthetician). Linh agreed that hydroderm is right for me, asked me some questions about my routine, skin sensitivity, etc and we were on our way! It's clear Linh pays attention to details and is up on current evidence-based treatments (light therapies, electrocurrent etc) AND she uses Eminence Organics skincare which was how I found her (through their spa locator). I felt pampered, well cared for, and like I was in great hands. By the time I left the appointment, I looked SOOO glowy and clear! My skin looks better than it had since I saw my last aesthetician and I couldn't be happier. Her prices are extremely fair for the expertise you receive and the quality experience and product you receive. I couldn't be happier and I will keep coming back regularly so she can maintain my skin. She also helps refine skincare routines as part of the maintenance which I ALWAYS appreciate, and she provided samples of things I could try that she recommended along with tea. I had an extraordinary experience and will look no further for the person I trust with my skin. read more

i had carolyn and she was amazing! shes super sweet and gentle. we had good conversation but also included lots of information about keeping my skin healthy and rejuvenated. i loved the session room as it was relaxing with a nice aroma and dim lighting. she offered turning on a bed warmer and made me feel comfortable before starting. there is a display of the products they used and testers too! overall i loved the layout of the whole studio! the session itself consisted of lots of different masks and serums allowing my face to feel very refreshed. all the products used smelled and felt great. she even offered a scalp massage and eyebrow grooming which was a bonus! at the end of the session, i was surprised with a refreshing drink along with a few snacks! so id say i had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again :) read more

Linh is one of my favorite estheticians. She is someone who is extremely knowledgeable with what product to use on your face. I have dry and sensitive skin so when she started to incorporate the Eminence skincare on me, my skin absolutely loved every drop! The products she used are not heavy and they soak up extremely quick, making you feel hydrated and plump after. You'll literally be glowing after each session! The inside decor is extremely roomy and cozy. It has a modern feel to it, which I absolutely love. When you walk inside, you are greeted by a relaxing lavender scent throughout the room. If you need someone who does their job best, Linh is your girl! read more

I am so glad I found this hidden gem skin care studio on Yelp 2 months ago! Linh is a super nice and friendly esthetician and the environment of her studio is always nice and relaxing. The facial was super relaxing! I liked how before she did anything she looked at my face beforehand and told me what she was planning to do during the appointment. She also offered to touch up my eyebrows a little bit. I had an extraction done on the t-zone area of my face and it was really nice! I felt like my face, in general, was a lot cleaner. One of my favorite parts was that the bed you lay on to get your facial done is warm! The constant massaging of the face with the creams was really nice! I also liked the warm towels during the facial. Whenever she massaged me it felt really nice and soft! The place overall is really cute and looks brand new! The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. There is music that plays softly in the background during the facial. She takes contactless payments such as venmo and more. She also recommended me some face cream. Which was really thoughtful because my face is usually pretty red and I have a bit of eczema! I'm always super excited to try new things that might help! read more

I decided to treat myself for a facial and went to Silk Skin studio for the first time last week. I had the best experience! Vy was my esthetician and she was so great. She's really friendly and accommodating to your skin type! I chose the Eminence customized rejuvenating facial for my first time and loved every minute of it. It was so relaxing, I almost fell asleep. I left the salon feeling so rejuvenated, relaxed and my skin was glowing! I couldn't stop looking at my face in the mirror after. I loved it so much, I told my family about my facial treatment and my cousin made an appointment shortly after! Can't wait to come again. Thanks Vy! (: read more

My esthetician was Vy. She was amazing! I was taken to a zen room(very spacious) to prepare for my facial. Vy confirmed the facial I was getting and building rapport on my skin texture and home routine. She gave me suggestions on what products and steps I should be taking to address my skin concerns. As I lay down on the bed(which is also nice and heated) Vy tells me to relax and enjoy the facial process. All the products smell so nice, fresh, citrusy and fruity. Almost wanted to eat them!it's nice that it's all organic products too! Vy gives a great lymphatic massage to the face while applying to masks and serums. She was very skilled at moving through the skin care process with her gentle hands for application around sensitive areas and her attentiveness to products that give a little tingle to the face. Overall, she allowed me to fully relax and sleep while getting the benefit of my Skincare. My skin felt hydrated and plumped afterwards. Can't. wait to book another appointment! read more

Linh did a great job on my skin and she was really helpful afterwards explaining what she recommend I do to treat my hormonal acne. My skin was glowing afterwards! The space smells so nice and feels really luxurious! You can tell she put a lot of time with the interior design to give you the best spa experience. The reason I found her was because I love Eminence products so naturally what she was using on my skins was something I knew my skin would respond really well to! She also used some techniques during the facial that I've never had at other spas. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep for part of it I was so relaxed. I can tell Linh put her heart into her work and I will be coming back for sure since I bought a package deal! read more

I have been seeing Linh for over 5 years and she is absolutely amazing! She is a master skin care artist and has truly helped my skin changed from very acne prone to clear. I joke with her and say she gives my skin the medicine it needs to make it better, which is hard since I have very oily/dry skin. Her products are my favorite brand, Eminence, which is a fantastic organic skin care line from Hungary. I highly recommend her to anyone who want a fun, kind, and extremely caring esthetician, please come see Linh! read more

Honestly, this is my first ever facial treatment I've ever done. I never really felt I ever needed one until my girlfriend came into my life and got me into taking care and working on my facial skin (I was forced too). She recommended me going to this place and honestly wasn't really expecting much. Came out of the place flabbergasted. It was an experience that was extraordinary and unforgettable. First off, the staffs and customer service are amazing. My dumbass made an appointment at 11:00 but thought it was at 11:30 for some reason. So I was extremely late, but the ladies were super friendly, very welcoming as if they were my own family, and they forgave me of how late I was. And they still willing to give me the full treatment without any additional fees or time off whatsoever so definitely one of the friendliest staff I've met. The treatment itself, where do I begin . I was treated by Ana, and according to the boss, she was just recently hired and I was her first client. And although, she was new. She made my experience super welcoming and relaxing. She was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable during the entire procedure. From massaging my face to applying skin cream to extracting pores. She did everything and everything perfectly, I couldn't ask for a better person. After the treatment, they had a complimentary drink and snack afterwards which was a nice touch. I never write reviews but felt I needed to write one. If you guys ever want to support small businesses and want to do a facial treatment. Then this place is for you. Super friendly and welcoming! read more
