I got my lashes done by Nikki 3 times. The first time it was great, she was fast and they came out beautiful. Also they don't take card so instead of telling me in advance to get cash from my bank, she waited to tell me until I was there and she was done with my lashes. They have an ATM in the hair salon so I had no other choice than to use it and get charged an extra fee. I gave her my money and I was expecting my full change back and instead she only gave me $5 back. Total was $120, I gave her like $160 so she kept the rest for herself and I didn't bother to count my money until I got home and realized she scammed me. My sister used to be a lash tech and when I told her this lady took less than an hour to do my lashes she said that's not possible that she must not be doing them right. So I went back to her a 2nd time for a touch up, they came out beautiful again, and this time I came back ready with cash. My eyes were a little red but it wasn't a big deal. Then the 3rd and last time I will ever go to her because of what happened this time. She did my lashes everything was normal. Until she was almost done and I started feeling a burning sensation in one of my eyes. I went home and a few hours later my eye started puffing up. I noticed she had placed the lashes closer to my lash line than usual. I thought it would go away. So I texted Nikki telling her the lashes are causing my eye to puff up and if I could go to her so she can remove them. I told her I was going to go the doctors and all she said was "You don't need to go to the doctor, don't go. The lashes are too beautiful. Just use Benadryl." As if she was a doctor. So I obviously went to the doctor and they gave me antibiotics and my swollen eye went away within a week. My sister had checked my lashes this third time and she said Nikki had placed the lashes on my lash line which is what they're not supposed to do. Nikki took less than 30 min the third time which I thought was pretty weird. So after all the 3 times I went with Nikki, I will never go with her again and won't ever recommend her. She didn't take my swollen eye serious and I won't ever trust someone like her who takes less than an hour with lash extensions. read more

My lash tech cancelled on me a hour before my appointment so I was desperate to find a tech that would take me in since I had to go on a trip soon and couldn't wait on a reschedule. Luckily Nikki had a spot open at my original appointment time so I was very happy and lucky Nikki took me in. Nikki is super super sweet and I think she did a really nice job with my lashes. She's very quick too, but the quality and detail is not lost. In fact, she showed me her finger scar from her precision work . I was in and out in less than 40 minutes. Though, her price is pretty pricey in comparison to other artists ($150). I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a last minute/walk in! I don't think she know lash style names so I would bring a reference photo! My internet was bad and I couldn't show her what I originally wanted, but I basically just described to "natural and light with longer ends." I started coming to Nikki after my last eyelash girl couldn't achieve how I wanted my eyelashes to look ( i really tried.. for a year). I'm so glad she was referred to me by not one person, but two different people. She is always on time, she is fast, and achieves exactly what I want. Natural, full, no crunchy glue on lashes, and how she places the lashes makes my eyes look more open and brighter. I'm in my mid 50's so I'm not exactly young. I came here on recommendation from a lady with beautiful thick extensions. But I was highly disappointed in what I received. When I first got there I explained exactly what I wanted and showed them my picture on the left. I explained that it was a .18 thickness, a D curl, a doll/open eye shape (small, large, small lengths), and even pointed out the sizes they were from 11-13, then up to 15, then down from 13-11. I have been going to the same lash lady for 4 years and only tried this place out because she is over an hour away, no longer sees people on the weekend, and I am super pregnant and too tired to commute down in traffic just to get my lashes done after work. I have tried many different shapes/styles/sizes... so I know what I like. What I received was a .15, (maybe a) c curl, and then the shape/sizes are all off and it's definitely a cat eye (see right picture). I explained that this was not what I asked for and then the manager got very snippy with me. She said they don't put that big of lashes (.18) on people with thinner lashes because it will bug their eyes. I explained that I did not care what they did normally, that I was very clear in what I wanted and this was not it. She then offered to remove and redo them. However, at this point I'm like two seconds from tears (pregnancy hormones yay) and just want to go home. If I wanted thin lashes, I would just put on mascara. My lashes are already long but blonde. I really believe they did understand what I asked for too and just thought I would like this better, so did what they wanted. But cat eyes are not good on me. I have naturally hooded eyes and it just accentuates that and I hate it. I will be removing them. There goes $160 down the drain. They also used a tape that was so strong while doing my lashes that it hurt and made my eyes water when they ripped it off my eyebrows :(. When I called and made the appointment, no one let me know it was cash only. So they made me use their ATM to pay, which charges a fee. 2 stars because they offered to try to fix it. But before that I wish it could be a 0 because they blatantly either didn't understand or just did what they wanted regardless of what I wanted and then when I was upset, they yelled at a pregnant lady. read more

I was a lash extension virgin when I first became Nikki's client. She was always friendly and I feel that the biggest perk of her work was that she was FAST. I would get a natural volume fill in about 45 minutes. I got a friend hooked on lash extensions & introduced her to Nikki in the summer of 2018. At that time, Nikki told both of us that she valued all of her clients and that is why she kept her pricing for fills at $60. After our fills, we would usually request to book the next appointment on the spot. One day, Nikki told us to text her to book instead of doing so on the spot. Over the next few weeks, she took a long time to reply & when she did, she said she was booked, etc. When we finally got in for a fill, she had increased the pricing without notifying us beforehand. She apologized & said this was due to the softer lashes she was using. There was a lack of communication & transparency in that regard. While we were peeved, we continued to go to her because of how fast and efficient she was. I started to educate myself on lashes through social media, and quickly realized that Nikki wasn't making lash fans. This could be why she's able to lash quickly & take a large quantity of clients per day. I didn't end on a bad note with Nikki and this review is not meant to bash her. It's to spread awareness. I feel that for the price she was asking ($80 for a fill), the work did not justify the cost. I found a new lash artist who takes her time & creates lash fans, for a fraction of Nikki's price. I would advise anyone reading this to do some research just so they know what's out there and what to expect! read more

I've gotten my lashes done for years. Then covid happened and my regular place shut down. So I went here based off the Yelp reviews. I was a bit disappointed. In my experience they usually clean the lashes or wipe them down so they have clean lashes to start, so I was a bit surprised they didn't do that. And the whole process was very uncomfortable. My bottom eyelid was very uncomfortable (not to the point it was painful), but it's been two days and it's red and still irritated so I'm guess They taped my bottom lashes in a way it's irritating me days later? One side was a little more fuller toward the edge than the other side, but nothing a few brushing won't fix. The next day, two clumps of lashes just fell off.... So I'm definitely not going back here for a refill. read more

Do not be deceived by the 5 star reviews. I have been getting my lashes done for over 3 years and Nikki is the most unprofessional eyelash tech I've come across. She is all about money and lacks professionalism in customer service. When your not feeling how your lashes tuned out she will say stuff like it looks nice and think your crazy for not thinking so! Also if you cancel twice she will not allow you to book any appointments she will say I'm busy or booked and if she wants the money depending whether or not it's a fill she will tell you to come last minute. I've been here twice. Originally when I made an appointment I thought it was with Nikki, the place is called "lashes by Nikki" so I assumed it was with her. When I arrived, a woman by the name Lyn brought me back to her room. My first experience with Lyn was great, I loved everything about the lashes and the timing was quick! Two weeks later I make an appointment w/Lynn and was disappointed with the outcome. I communicated my dislikes and she asked me to come back later in the day so she can fix - I did and they were ok. Today, I tried to make an appointment with Nikki and to my surprise there is a waitlist to even make an appointment. Based off my conversation via text with Nikki I feel as though she is not accepting me as a client because she wants me to stick with Lynn. I've read through a lot of recent reviews on Yelp, and I have yet to come across ONE regarding a waitlist for Nikki. Advice - if you want to try this place, specify the technician you want and don't just assume it will be with Nikki. read more
