I have stopped getting my lashes done due to rising expenses. It has been over a year. Instead I wore my prescription glasses to hide how plain my eyes are. I don't have any natural lashes, I don't know anything about makeup. My confidence and self-esteem has been at an all-time low. She accepts all forms of payment, the studio has ample parking, and the studio is modern, clean, girly, and bright. I don't know how long I can keep the refills up, but I will try my best to do this for myself. WHY DIDN'T I COME HERE SOONER? It's been years since I had lash extensions. After having a baby, I didn't put much effort into my appearance because I was always too tired or just didn't care. Now that he's older, I wanted to try to look more presentable with the least amount of effort possible so I figured getting lash extensions would be the best choice! I scheduled an appointment with Tammie since I heard so many great things about her work throughout the years. Apparently she branched out on her own and has a new spot. Booking an appointment was super easy. I told her which weekend I was interested in and she gave me her open appointment slots. She shares a space with another person, their shop is called EM Lash and Brow. It is located in Avanti shopping center, same as Mix Huevos and Lost World Funtropolous so there was plenty of parking. Walking in, the shop felt quaint, cozy and calm. I came in thinking I wanted the "Classic Set" but I left it up to her to decide which set would fit my eyes best. She suggested the "Kitten Eye" to bring out my eye shape and to make them appear larger. She started with cleaning my lashes and then went on to applying the individual lashes. She was so gentle. Her chair was also comfy, it was more like a plushy recliner. She even draped a soft blanket over me. Time flew by pretty quickly. I probably could have taken a nap but I spent most of the time chatting with her. The appointment took about 1hr 40 minutes for a new full set and it turned out SO PRETTY. She was able to make it look natural but also make my eyes pop and flirty. Would totally come back again for my refills. She said that next time I could add on more for a fuller-voluminous look if I wanted to! Can't wait to go back! read more
