I found this place via a co-worker's referral and I love it! I have always has light brows which have gotten lighter as I age. I have seen people who got micro blading done but never wanted to try it because it is so dark for the first few months. Finally, after spending 10 minutes every day trying to fill my brows and always having them be uneven etc, I decided to check this place out. The website is very detailed, with lots of pictures and information. I still was not able to decide for myself which procedure is right for me so I called My. My does not talk on the phone:) but is a very responsive and detailed texter. I am very impressed by her texting skills. Based on a picture of my eyebrows, she recommended microshading and the reasons for it. I made my booking online and paid the $100 deposit. For my process it would be $545 total + $100 for any follow up - a bit on the expensive side but well worth it. On the day of the appointment, she puts numbing cream on the brows and lets it sit for 20 minutes. She then asks questions about what I want, the shape, size etc. I wanted dark, thick brows. She cautioned against that and advised that I start with a slightly smaller shape because she could always add on but if I hated the shape and size, she could not take it off. She spent some time drawing the shape out and made slight adjustments based on my feedback. I was extremely nervous and told her so and that made her nervous but she was a professional throughout. I was nervous about the pain but it was amazingly painless. Each appt. is for an hour and a half but my brows were not taking color and she took another 1/2 hour but I was very pleased with the result! I had defined, beautiful brows. After, My provided detailed instructions on after care and whether to come back or not. I did start losing color in the timeline she mentioned and some color came back but I went back because they were too light - My remembered everything I had initially asked for without me reminding her and made my brows darker and thicker. After the requisite 4 weeks, I did lose some color but something I can live with. This is a life changer. My did mention that as I kept coming back, my skin would get used to taking color and they would get much darker each time. My left brow is slightly lighter than the right but nothing very obvious. The second time around, my brows also itched a lot and peeled. That did not happen the first time. They are also very dry. The only thing I didn't like about the whole process is that I could not work out for 7 days after the procedure. I have worked out every day for the past 30 years and it was tough but well worth it!! The office is easy to find, parking on the street and inside, My has soda, water and snacks and both times that I was there, I was the only customer - she can only focus on one at a time so that makes sense. Very professional looking equipment and clean. While filling out the paperwork, I indicated that I didn't want her to use my pictures on social media and she was happy to accommodate. I was referred here by a friend and after I was done, I referred my friend to go. The secret is out, MP's brow art is excellent! I came in not knowing what brow style I wanted. I just knew I wanted the tail end of my brows to be filled to naturally blended in with the rest of my brows, PLUS, I didn't want to look mean. After MP numbed me, I felt nothing! Literally, no pain with lots of gain. Micro & nano blading service came out quite nice! Additionally, I had lash liner done as well... again zero pain after numbing cream. It popped when I first saw them! When I came back for my touch up, I felt that in my photos, the tail end of my brows were showing up as too light which .ade my brow look uneven. So, I asked for a fuller fill and sharp ends. MP filled up my brows and now I wake up with perfect brows everyday. For my lash liner, unfortunately, not a single drop of ink stayed on with the first sess. MP redid them by doubling up on the inkage and didn't chage for the retouch appointment. My and Nini are AMAZING. When the pandemic started and everyone started wearing masks, I got the dreaded smeared-on lipstick and makeup on the mask. I could get away with just wearing sunscreen but I like some color on my lips. I've always considered Lip Blush but was wary about getting it, most permanent makeup artists do both eyebrows and lips but I wanted someone who's specialty is lips. Which led me to MP Studio....I discovered MP Studio on IG and was impressed with the skill of Nini. She is the go to person for Lip Blush. It looks natural and the colors are beautiful. I texted My and sent her a picture of my lips. I have hyperpigmented lips which meant that I had to get neutralization first before putting the color I want on my lips. My appointment with Nini was going to be 2.5 hours. She put on numbing cream on my lips for 15-20 minutes and I laid down on the bed and Nini went to work. I was scared that it was going to hurt. It does not hurt, and she kept putting on numbing cream during the session. If anything, all you feel is the vibration of the tool. It's okay if you need to take a bathroom break and they'll just put more numbing cream on. If anything, microblading on my brows hurt more than the lips. After Nini is finished, she gave me a hand mirror so I could see my lips. Apparently I have skin that swells easily. After I was finished, my friend saw me and started cracking up - she said I looked like an influencer with a lot of filler in my lips. Some tips I have for Lip Blush: 1. Make sure you eat something before you get the lip blush. After your lip blush, you can eat but you have to cut it up and put it gently in your mouth and make sure it doesn't touch your lips. 2. After the session, ice your lips. If you're like me and tend to swell up, take an Advil whilst you're icing. If you don't immediately ice for 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off for a few hours your lips will swell up. I made the mistake of not doing this and my lips looked like a patient on Botched (!!!). 3. Do not eat salty or spicy food for 5 days - I had a really bland diet and it was worth it, the color stayed on quite well. I went back for a touchup and got the color I wanted. I am so happy with My and Nini, they definitely know what they're doing and care about their clients. Highly Recommended!!! read more

Getting my brows done by My has been a life changing experience and I wish I had done it sooner. I had been following My on instagram @myphan17 for a few years before I finally made the decision. Although micro blading, micro shading and ombré brows are semi permanent makeup procedures, I wanted to make sure I picked an artist who does natural but realistic brows. My's work fit my criteria of what I want my brows to look like. I got micro shading done with is a combination of shading on most of the brow and micro bladed hair strokes at the front of the brows since I prefer my brows more defined. It's been 9 months since I got my brows done and they still look great! Definitely trust the process with after care. You will most likely need a touch up 4-12 weeks after your initial session to perfect your brows. Ever since I have gotten my brows done by My, my mom and friend have also gotten theirs done. A long overdue review ! My is absolutely the best at her Microblading expertise. I found My Pham in Instagram. Looking at the great finished product. Her technique is absolutely amazing. Flawless, natural looking. That is what i was searching for. I am older so with age my brows got less and less hair. I needed to do something so ombre shading with Microblading strokes was my choice. I contact My through instagram. She had a 3 month waiting list. This certainly shows how much she is in demand. After a texting conversation i text My picture of my brows. She suggested the Ombre shading with Microblading strokes. I made my 1st appointment out 3 months. When it came to the day. I was so excited ! i was also given what not to do before direction. I had My's cell number so if i had a question i just text her. The day of my appointment. Her studio is so super clean, inviting and had several stations with bright lights for the Microblading artist can do her talent. They have you fill a questionnaire form with direct information. This makes sure nobody is never misinformed. The procedure took about a 2 hours. They use numbing Solutions so it really doesn't hurt. She prepares to with exact measurements. Ask you about what you want, color, thickness. She also gives her opinion. Which i really appreciated. She is the professional. When itd all completed you are verbally explains what not to do. She even gives you a togo bag of plastic face cover shields ! So they don't get wet during a shower. Plus ointment for when it starts to itch appky after so many days. What i was really impressed with was if i had a question about the healing process. All i did was text and with minutes she answered. MY your devotion to your customers is exceptional. **2021 I debated whether I should write this review given the circumstances this past year, but the more I thought I about it, the situation made me upset and I felt it was best that I share my experience. I was surprised with my negative experience working with My, I waited 3 months or so for my appointment, she has several positive reviews, and she charges what an experience artist would charge (I believe she even teaches microblading classes, however I'm not too sure). From all the research I've done regarding mircroblading, I have a clear image and understanding as to what clean and quality work looks like. Unfortunately, that was not the case for me. I have posted two pictures, as you can see the right eyebrow is thicker compared to the left. I had requested specifically that she map my eyebrows for accurate sizing, and she did, and they looked great, however a week later after the swelling reduced, I was able to notice how significant the difference between both brows are. What's worse is the area she missed doesn't grow any hair, so there wasn't any hair there to begin with. I was hesitant to go back to her, however I felt it was only right that she fix it. Regrettably, she wanted to charge me an additional $100 on top of the $450 for her to fix it. She considered it to be a "touch up" claiming "pickier" customers sometimes request additional strokes after the first session. Ofcourse, I do not consider this to be a touch up, I consider this to be a correction***, a correction that is necessary due the lack of quality of her work that was done in the first session. I get it, she's taking time to fix it, but as a genuine "professional", you should always fix your mistakes. Overall, I would not recommend My, I do not consider her to be a top artist, and I regret my experience with her. __ Response to your message: You are so full of it, the fact that cannot admit to your mistake but rather take the time to type a long paragraph explaining some bull, really speaks volumes of your ethical boundaries. It doesn't take a genius to recognize the significant difference between both brows, and the lack of good symmetry recognition. Further, to then accuse a customer of editing a photo because their honest review isn't what you had hoped for, not only shows the lack of moral values and professionalism you have, but the greediness you carry. Such an amazing and very throughly fun experience with My Phan's lip blush class online. I heard so many great things about My Phan's "MP Studio" and I had to see what the buzz was all about. I had checked on her Instagram page prior and and saw all the work that she does at her studio such as microblading eyebrows, eyelash extensions, lash liner and lip blush tattoos. Also, she offers classes for people who like to learn to be their own entrepreneurs and for people who would like to improve their work. Before booking an online class with My Phan I had to do my research from reading all the reviews about her classes on yelp and from reviews of friends who took her previous classes and all the comments came highly recommended. Luckily, My Phan had a promotion going on for a lip blush class and I couldn't pass up the chance since other lip blush classes that were offered by other artists was more expensive. Once I dm My Phan of my interest in taking her class, she sent me an email confirmation right away with all the course and materials that will be utilized during her class. Being that we are living in uncertain times, social distancing is a must and although I'm not able to be in a real live class with My Phan and other students, I didn't feel like it took away my learning process. In actuality, I felt My Phan's class on Instagram made me feel I was there in the room learning one on one with her. These are a few of my reasons why I highly recommended My Phan's classes. I like the fact that she made a video and took individual photos stressing on cleanliness and how to properly sanitize your station for every client you see. After each video you watch, she puts steps to review the material and provide tips on that particular video. She had simplified and made every step so easily understandable. She spoke slowly and clearly of what she was doing and explain why she was doing those particular steps. Also, I really liked that she had her camera set in different angles to see what she was doing in detail. I was amazed she even had a slow motion video to see everything in depth. All in all, her online lip blush class definitely does prepare you to be your own boss. After the session has ended. I had some questions and I message My Phan and she had answered them ASAP. It was unexpected because some artists would say bye after you take their class or don't even have the time to answer back to you, but My Phan didn't. She even told me if later in the future I needed help to not be shy to reach out to her. I can't wait to be able to test out my work on my own clients. I just got my eyebrows done by My and had a great experience! I had my appointment with her on 08/13 at 9AM. A few days before that, I had noticed that I had a pimple near my eyebrows and texted her about it. She reassured me that it was fine and we can still keep the appointment. On the day of the appointment, I noticed another one was directly under the eyebrow and texted her around 7:30AM wondering if it was okay, she reassured me again that since it was not directly on the eyebrow that it was okay. When I arrived at the studio, I noticed that it was very clean and it was nicely decorated. My greeted me, handed me the paperwork, and put some numbing cream on my eyebrows while I filled them out. About 20 minutes later when I was finished with the paperwork, she brought me over to her table and mapped out my eyebrows. She then asked me if I was satisfied with the shape and to let her know if there was anything that I wanted to be adjusted. I was happy with the shape then we started the microblading process. While she was working, I didn't feel any pain at all. All I heard was "scraping" or "scratching" sounds, and that was about it. Admittedly, I was actually starting to fall asleep because everything felt relaxing to me and I was comfortable. When she was done, she showed me the results and I am in love! I took some photos in the car and showed to some family and friends and am trying to convince them to book with My. Overall, My is professional, experienced, caring, and all the above! I'm glad that I made the choice to book with My because she was always reassuring, she told me to not be afraid if I wanted the shape adjusted, and she really listens to you. She also makes time to answer your texts and you will always get a response back. I've been wanting to get my eyebrows microbladed for awhile due to my sparse brow hairs and uneven brows. It's been THE BEST decision I've ever made - and I don't know why I waited so long! I decided I wanted to do the lash enhancement liner with Annie and am so glad I did! Annie is so nice and very professional. She drew out what she thought would look good for me and asked if I wanted to go thinner or thicker, I appreciated that she did that but loved what she recommended. I was scared it was going to be painful but it honestly didn't hurt! The place to go for microshading and microblading! I found Catherine through Instagram and booked her through an awesome deal. When I arrived, I was greeted and offered a nice cold beverage. The studio was very clean and well kept. Catherine started off numbing me for 25 min and explained the process to me. I was worried about the pain, but she made sure that the numbing cream was doing its job. It worked wonderfully. She created the perfect brows and checked to make sure I was happy with the results. If I could give 10 stars, I would! I was referred here by a friend and I was able to get an appointment within 3 months from inquiring. That's super fast considering it was covid and everywhere else was waitlisted. Not only that, but My has such a great reputation on IG as is, so I felt lucky to even get an appointment that soon! Her prices are very reasonable and she responds in more than a timely manner. When I arrived, the studio was SUPER clean, temperature was checked, and hands sanitized before going over to the chair to start. My takes her time and double checks her work. She has the most sweetest and patient personality, and answers any questions you may have about the brow procedure. She even numbs your brows too, so you barely feel a thing (only thing I felt was a little scrape here and there, but it was close to nothing!) She takes CC and venmo which in my opinion is so convenient for payment options. I know other places are cash only. End result, and after going back for my touch up 3 weeks later (only $100 too!), my brows are better than I've ever had them!! This is my 3rd time doing microblading/shading/combo whatever you want to call it. My tails survived the healing process and the color stuck beautifully! Really poor and unprofessional business owner Myphan. I had my brows done last week. One brow is distinctly wider than the other one. I asked her to fix her own mistake and she told me she would need to charge me $100 for a "touch up". this is shameful greedy unethical behavior. I have had my brows done before several times and the artists will always fix it for you. Not only does Myphan charge for a touch up, she will also charge you for her mistake. I would recommend people think twice before getting their brows done here. I thought she was a perfectionist but she does not take pride in her work and is just here to nickel and dime you. Her attack and judgement, made on a personal level, instead of rectifying the issue at hand, as well as the inaccurate statements regarding the interaction at my appointment (there is no truth regarding what she discussed, and if so it was all in her head) speaks volumes to the lack of professionalism and maturity.
