I had a wonderful experience here. I came in without an appointment, and they were able to accommodate right away despite already having a few customers. Everything looked new and fresh, with the new owners having taken over. Check-in process was easy through the kiosk, and by the time I chose a polish color, the seat and foot bath was ready for me. What was extra nice was the complimentary beverage service that came with my pedicure. I wish I could have tried the Vietnamese coffee, but I knew I wouldn't be able to handle the caffeine so late in the day so I went with a water. Even sweeter was since they were brand new, they offered a free gift at the end of the session to celebrate their opening. I got the basic pedicure, but I appreciated the spa treatment that came with it, the foot rub and hot stone massage. The owner Nina was meticulous and made sure the color was perfect, and did a great job of catching any stray color and doing touch ups during the drying process. On top of that, I was happy I could relate to Nina as she had a new infant at home. What a hard working and dedicated person balancing both family and business. Would definitely come back! read more

I have to give love out to Lannie. I needed to temporarily have my gel nails all removed and was worried about the damage and had fear of getting them filed since I have sensitive fingers. I called and they were available immediately so I came to see Lannie. I've had my nails done on and off for over 15 years and she is the first and only one who's able to remove it so gently while leaving my natural nails completely intact, undamaged and strong. Amazing! She understood that I have a fear of getting my nails filed close to my cuticles and she took her time. She displayed experience, talent and care for her customer. Went to Slay'in Nails for pedicures a few days ago. We called in advance and they were able to save a couple of spots for us. When we got there, they offered us drinks. Everyone was very nice. Hana gave a great leg massage - not too much pressure. My wife asked for flowers painted on her big toes, but I wanted cats. Bamboo did the artwork and we were both very happy with the results. I came here on recommendation from one of my besties! I messaged their phone number just an hour before coming in and they were able to host me no problem. It had been a long time since I had gotten my nails done so they were looking rough. I got a mani-pedi with gel, and they had an extensive selection of colors to choose from! They even had a sheer line with natural looking polishes (which are my personal favorite). I instantly felt welcomed. The store was clean and nicely decorated with many extras (like a drink menu to choose from) to help guests feel even more welcome! I'm excited about this new nail spa that just opened in Almaden. It's very cute inside and clean. Ladies did a great job with my Paradise pedicure. Bamboo was gentle on my toes, loved the 12 minute massage with hot stone. When I go to get a pedicure, I look for a place that's clean and relaxing with not a lot of loud talking. Massage is very important as part of a relaxing pedicure and after cleaning and painting my toes looked perfect. This place check off all my expectations. They're looking into adding Dazzle Dry polish in their arsenal and that's a game changer for me. Not many places have that, less toxic and lasts much longer than regular polish. read more

Hana did an exceptional job on my Slayin' manicure and Classic pedicure. I appreciated that she checked that I was happy with the color that I selected, as well as the nail shape that I desired. She paid great attention to detail, was incredibly thorough, and did an excellent job!! With the pedicure, Hana even removed some callouses that I had (which I didn't mention). None of my other pedicures addressed those. I enjoyed the massages that came with the services. The neck and shoulder massage that came with my manicure was wonderful! Got my nails done at Slayin' nails. The location was formally Redmond nails and they are under new ownership. Mina and Bamboo did an amazing job with my nails. I got a long French manicure to prepare for an event. They turned out fantastic. I love the natural C-curve of the line between the white tip and pink nail, the look that they achieved with the powder. I will definitely be back here when it's time for a refresh in three weeks.! Ever since the fire burned down the salon almost 2 years ago, I missed Hana until saw the yelp review that highly recommended Hana in this salon. Immediately, I made the appointment to find my Hana. She really deserves all the nice comments appraised for her. Surprisingly, the pedicure package I had included the neck and shoulders massage in addition to the foot massage, it really gave me a relaxing moment after a whole day of computer work.
