The only reasons I came here were the good Yelp rating and the pictures they posted of their work. I liked that they featured different eye shapes and offered various styles. However, I noticed they didn't include the names of the lash technicians who worked on the clients. So, I booked a 6pm appointment for hybrid wispy lashes. I arrived about 30 minutes early and waited. The technician greeted me, and there was coffee and tea in the waiting area, which was a nice touch for early birds like me. When it was my turn, the technician asked what I wanted. I told her hybrid wispy with a slight cat-eye and showed her pictures from their website. However, there seemed to be a language barrier. Normally, that's okay because my regular lash lady doesn't speak much English either, so I usually just show her pictures. The technician then showed me her station, which threw me off a little because her lash case was still open from the previous client. Maybe they do things differently, but my lash lady always uses a new case, selects the lash sizes for my eyes, and keeps everything in a clean area. I don't know, but I started to feel uneasy right away. Here's some backstory: I've been getting my lashes done for about five years and go every month. I don't do the fill-ins--I have the old lashes removed and get a new set each time. I love my lash lady, but unfortunately, she was on vacation, and I was leaving for my 40th birthday trip to Greece with my husband, where we had a photoshoot. I had to find another shop quickly. Honestly, I should have just gone without lashes! The technician started placing tape on my lids, which already felt uncomfortable. She spent about 15 minutes on each eye, which seemed extremely fast. I could feel her placing some lashes with her fingers, but I kept telling myself, "trust the process." Holy moly, I was wrong! I wish I had taken pictures. It looked like I had let my 10-year-old daughter do them--there were large spaces and missing pieces everywhere, and they looked more like the classic set I had worn for five weeks. Smh. I told her, "No, no. This is nothing like the photo in front." She told me to lie back down and added more lashes, but I still wasn't happy. She called the owner, who came over and asked what was wrong. I explained everything. What upset me was that the owner said the lashes looked that way because of my natural lashes. Umm, okay. I get my lashes done every month, and they have never looked like this! I showed her pictures of my lashes from my regular lash lady, and she then said, "Ohhh, we don't do that type of lashes.." So suddenly, it wasn't because of my natural lashes. She told me they could remove the lashes at no cost. I said no because I was leaving for my trip the next day, and the whole point of coming in was to have my lashes done. She said they would remove them and use another technique. While the technician applied the removal solution, my eyelids began burning. My eyes watered more than they ever had before. I told her to remove everything because it was burning. The owner immediately stepped in and began removing the extensions. She said she would do it herself instead of the other technician, which I appreciated. After another hour and a half, the owner finished my lashes, and they were much better than what the original technician had done. The owner gave me extra eye drops for the redness, and I didn't leave until 9 p.m. I was there for a total of three and a half hours, which was painful and exhausting. The next morning, my eyes were bloodshot red, and I couldn't open them because they were covered in crust around the extensions. Thankfully, I had a later flight and was able to get antibacterial drops. The redness didn't clear for four days after my appointment. To make matters worse, nearly all the lashes fell out after a week. It was such a waste of time and money. I didn't even want to write this review, but my daughter kept telling me that people should be aware. response to JoJo; First off, the owner didn't say anything about not wanting to do the second set, nor did she mention any irritation, so I don't know where you got that from.

The lashes look uneven and messy with noticeable separation and inconsistent placement. They don't look as clean/polished as I expected and I regret coming here. My eyes have also been stinging and bloodshot since my appointment yesterday, I've never experienced that before and I've gotten a decent amount of eyelash extensions. I've had many lash lifts before, but this was honestly the worst lash lift experience I've ever…read morehad. After the initial service, my lashes were very uneven. One side was lifted much higher than the other, some lashes were sticking straight up, and others were bent, crossing over each other, or pointing in different directions. By the second night, I realized that one of my actual lashes was pointing downward and poking my eye, causing discomfort. I took close up photos and texted Thi to show her what was happening. Her response was simply, "No problem I can fix." There was no apology or acknowledgment that something had gone wrong. I was disappointed by the response, but I still decided to go back because I wanted to give her a chance to correct the issue. I have a busy schedule as well, so returning meant taking additional time out of my day to have a problem from the original service corrected. Still, I made the time and went back hoping she could fix it. After the correction, my lashes looked somewhat better, but the result was still uneven. Some of my upper lashes were still bent and going in different directions. What upset me even more was that after the correction, some of my lower lashes became visibly crimped and wavy, even though my lower lashes were not supposed to be treated. I also began noticing approximately 2-3 lashes falling out almost every day. When I went back for the correction, I was also disappointed by how the situation was handled. I still did not feel that there was a proper apology or accountability for what had happened. I WAS TOLD THAT I COULD GET A REFUND AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO HAVE MY LASHES FIXED,, but I had already taken time out of my schedule to come back specifically to give her a chance to correct the problem. I also want to clarify something regarding my next appointment. Immediately after my initial service, I had booked another appointment for 8/17. I have a busy schedule and generally prefer to book appointments well in advance, so I scheduled it before I realized the extent of the problems with my lashes. After everything that happened, I had no intention of returning. However, I later received a message saying that my 8/17 appointment had been canceled even though I had never requested the cancellation. Although I wasn't planning to go back, canceling an appointment on my behalf without any communication still felt unprofessional. What disappointed me most was not only the result of the lash lift, but also the way the situation was handled afterward. I understand that mistakes can happen, which is why I contacted Thi directly and gave her the opportunity to correct the service rather than immediately leaving a negative review. Unfortunately, even after returning for a correction, I was still left with uneven and bent upper lashes, crimped lower lashes, and ongoing lash fallout. I've included photos and screenshots so others can see both the results and the communication for themselves and make their own judgment. Thank you for your response. I would like to clarify a couple of things. When Thi and I scheduled my next appointment for August 17 immediately after my initial service, I was never told that a deposit was required or that the appointment would be automatically canceled if a deposit was not completed within a certain timeframe. Had that been explained to me when the appointment was booked, I would have understood the cancellation. I also understand that English is your second language because English is my second language as well. For me, this was never about perfect English or the wording of a text message. A language barrier was not the issue. Empathy and accountability do not require perfect English they can be communicated through tone, actions, and the way someone responds when a client comes back with a problem. When I showed you what had happened to my lashes, I was not expecting perfect words or a perfectly worded apology. What mattered to me was feeling that my concern was genuinely acknowledged and that there was some understanding and regret about what had happened. Unfortunately, I did not feel that through our text communication or when I returned in person for the correction. I appreciate your apology now and your offer of a refund. However, my review was based on my actual experience: the original lash lift, having to take additional time to return for a correction, the condition of both my upper and lower lashes afterward, the ongoing lash fallout, and how the situation was handled. My intention in sharing this review is not to criticize anyone's language ability or intentions, but simply to provide an honest and factual account of my experience. UPDATE: After my review, I received repeated messages from 7:00 AM throughout my workday asking me to remove it. I felt pressured and uncomfortable all day. When I did put makeup on, however, the lashes saved so much time. One hour makeup sessions turned into 10 minute sessions! Taking off my eye makeup was never an issue. I would use a makeup remover to lightly scrub my eyes, and the lashes stayed intact-- just make sure to use one that's oil-free. The lashes themselves are suuuuper pretty and natural! They aren't heavy, and don't interfere with eyesight. Super soft, lots of volume, and length. She chooses the best volume and length to suit your eyes, but she'll ask for your preference. I got so many compliments on them. They stayed on for quite a while too. I got mine refilled at 2 weeks, but they could have gone for another 2- which is pretty long compared to other eyelash extensions. Would I get them again? YES!!!!!
