I went on a Thursday afternoon. This is my go to place when I need some self care. I pay for the midst expensive pedicure. I met Lan today. I was having a hard time relaxing. My anxiety was pretty bad when I walked in. Lab was very respectful to my need to listen to music and close my eyes as she pampered me. She is extremely skilled at her craft. Everything was perfectly hot. She made my toes and feet look and feel amazing again. By the time I left I had been able to completely relax and I was able to breath better. Thank you so much for your service.
Honestly I wish I could love this place but I had some complications with giving 5 stars. Let's start with..The positives: Scheduling is so convenient and easy over the phone. They always have availability soo and within 20 minutes which is perfect for my drive over. I love the entire design of the salon it's sooo lovely, clean, stylish, well lit, and aesthetically pleasing. Another great thing is there's always so many close up parking available. I always get up front parking every time I come here (3 times). The location and salon design itself as all 5 Star quality. I also love how they have soo many colors and designs available. I seen a nail lady practicing floral designs that looked so lovely and heavenly. They also have nail decals that you choose for a guaranteed look. Also the pricing is moderate yet not too high for nails. For builder gel removal + builder gel nails with color I pay about $60-$70. (I did notice that the price changes...) The reason I gave this salon 3 stars is the staff and the quality of work. I will say the man who runs the front desk and phone is always polite, focused, and professional. The first time I got my nails done I liked the lady she was very nice and asked a few questions but mostly was focused on the nail work. I really liked her a person and my nails were pretty decent (not perfect but good enough tbh). I did go home to shape them properly (which I don't mind because I am a perfectionist) because they were crooked along the tops. The problem I had is when I got home I noticed my white nails had LOTS of tiny lint and tiny little black dot spots stuck under the clear top coat. WTHECK. I was so disappointed because I did not see this until I went home. The lady was very careful so I wasn't sure how this happened.. the only thing I can think is about how her clear gel top coat look very/old so I think her polish had tiny black particles in it. I'm sure with her face close up she would've noticed the tiny black spots and lint but she didn't correct or say anything... I spent $70 + a $15 tip on these nails. Also within days the top corners started lifting and my natural nail corners at the top broke on two fingers broke due to no protection from the builder gel.. maybe because I filed down the crooked tops but who knows.. The second time I scheduled a pedicure and a fresh builder gel manicure at the same time. I went on a Tuesday and the salon was completely empty. I did enjoy my pedicure and it looks pretty nice with classic white. My problem I had is the lady decided to talk on the phone the WHOLE time during my pedicure. It's hard to relax when someone is just chatting away for a FULL 30/40 minutes. I feel like that was so unprofessional.. Can't you take a call after the service? It was only 30/40 minutes. Anyway the lady was nice and did a good job but the non stop chatting on the phone made the experience a bit unpleasant... As a "Luxury Spa" I would expect some care and maybe quiet time not my pedicure lady being on the phone the entire time.... lol. I paid $60 and did a $10 tip because I hated the fact the lady was talking non stop on the phone my WHOLE service... Another issue I had was I had a man doing my builder gel manicure and his work was very flawed. I feel a little bad because he was SO FOCUSED and worked hard on my nails for literally like 2 hours. BUT when he finally finished there were soooo many flaws, unevenness in the paint, cuticle gaps, uneven shaping, sooo many imperfections. I honestly felt VERY DISAPPOINTED. But since the man tried very hard for two hours.. I didn't say anything. He definitely needs a LOT more practice to be in a professional salon. But I was thankful that he was quiet, focused, and professional during the service... I paid $60 for this set and did a $10 tip because I honestly was not happy with the nails but I know he tried his best... I went home and corrected a lot of the flaws since I'm pretty good at nail shaping. I noticed the apex on a couple nails wasn't built properly and the gel was uneven. I told myself I would get it corrected else where but I got too busy so unfortunately within two weeks two nails started lifting at the bottoms because the builder gel work was done improperly. :( I think it's just like 3 strikes your out. First the black dots/lint in my white nails... Secondly the lady talking on the phone my WHOLE pedicure (30-40 minutes).. Thirdly I know that man tried very very hard but the work was super flawed and not done correctly. So sorry I'm not coming back here but I definitely love the decor + design of the salon. Unfortunately the nail work + service isn't the best...
I went to Chrystal for the first time and she did such a great job. These nails are exactly what I wanted and she took her time doing them. Everyone is always so friendly. My mom went to Oanh and she was also very satisfied. Thank you so much!
I'm writing this review while sitting in their new massage chairs--great chairs. Cindy, who is new to this spa, is giving me a Tangerine gel pedicure. She's so sweet and has a lovely personality. I love how gentle and attentive she is to detail, and she takes pride in her work. My toes look fabulous. I haven't had a bad experience here, and I think Cindy is a wonderful addition to Luxury Nails Spa. I'll definitely be requesting her next time. At the moment, she's off on Tuesdays, but works all other days of the week. Thanks Cindy! Five-star service!!
I cannot say enough good things about Oanh. Not only is she incredibly talented at what she does, but she's also one of the sweetest people I've ever met. Every appointment feels like catching up with a friend, and I always leave feeling more relaxed, pampered, and excited to show off my new set. Her attention to detail is truly unmatched -- she takes her time to make sure every nail is perfect, and her creativity blows me away every single time. Whether I come in with an idea or let her freestyle, the results are always stunning. You can tell she genuinely loves her work and cares about her clients. The space is very comfortable, and welcoming. Oanh makes you feel completely at ease and never rushes the process. If you're looking for a nail tech who's not only insanely skilled but also kind, patient, and professional, you have to make an appointment with Oanh!
Worst nail salon I've been to! I showed my inspo and at first I did not like the prep they did then I asked is this all the prep you do it was all so rushed she kept telling me to wait and trust the process so I did and I kept telling her what I wanted fixed ( if I'm paying for a service i expect it to be done in a way I like them) at the end I gave up and said just leave like that I don't even want a design and she said it's $55 just for some bad acrylic application
This is my second time coming here and I love it! Last time I got someone amazing and I completely forgot her name but she was extremely kind. This time around I got Stacy and she was amazing!! Super sweet, kind, and very professional. Everyone working was super welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend coming here! It is affordable and very nice! My nails came out gorgeous and can't wait to go back to get a mani pedi!
There's always someone available to take care of you. The quality is great. Our whole family gets Manny Petty's and my husband gets full body wax.

Nothing luxurious here. Emma and Liza were the ones who "helped" me today. First they are extremely pushy on up selling. No respect for your decision. Liza was clearly late and it showed. She was working out of a target bag!!! How does this place pass inspection?! She was insistent I leave with nails not the same length! I had to keep checking my own nails to insure they were at least close to the same length as you can see they are still wrong. She kept shoving my head in the light machine. It's tiny what does she expect? I could not leave fast enough. Terrible experience will not be back.
I absolutely love the nails I got done recently at this salon!! I got gel x nails and I showed Chrystal my inspo pic and she did even better !! I definitely recommend booking your appointment with Chrystal!

0 STARS. THE WORST NAIL SHOP IN THE BAY AREA AND SAN JOSE CA. They were extremely horrible and racist to my immigrant mother. They didn't clean her feet, dry her toes, or even lotion them. I had to come in and let them know what they did was horrific and sad. Shame on this business I don't suggest ANYONE goes here EVER. They left her crying. Nobody come here read more

Walked in on a Saturday afternoon & was seated right away - I got a gel pedicure. My technician Ann was very sweet but as she was filing off the polish her own nail was digging in a few times & then as she was cleaning up my nail bed she stabbed me multiple times with her tools - she apologized but like how many times & how deep are you trying to go, they only go so far !. Nonetheless my service was good & no blood was shed lol just a few uncomfortable seconds. Which is why I gave 3 stars . read more

This place is amazing so clean and pretty. The nail technicians are very nice. They take their time with your nails. asking if you need anything water, coffee. Great Customerservice it's by appointment only no walk in. Personally I think it's way better and less crowded. The nail technicians are not rushing. Highly recommend coming if your in the area ! Just "ok". Everything was going great until I started asking questions and the gel was placed over. Only dipped 1 time and then 7 layers of gel added. During the drill process I asked why she only dusted the dipping powder off one hand and not the other and she told me not to worry because she knew what she was doing. At that point I couldn't even mention the bumpy gel because I was actually embarrassed for her. Overall I was happy with the color because it matched my toes. The pedicure was "ok" as well. Very pushy on upselling the more expensive pedicures. I requested massage to be on the arches of my foot but after 4 minutes of the 10 minute massage she wrapped them in the hot wax. Desperately been looking for a good salon for over 10yrs now in San Jose. I hadn't gotten my nails done in over 6 months and this was a disappointment. Please message me if you know of a good salon! Adding one more thing because after reading other reviews I was reminded about this: When I asked to get my nails done as my pedicure was in progress the nail lady comes over and started talking sh*T to the pedicure lady. I immediately pulled out my translator app and when they heard the noise to record they stopped speaking. As soon as I put my phone down they continued and kept laughing. I'm sick of this kind of treatment in these San Jose salons. Waste of $140 UPDATE: 8 days later and I'm literally in tears because every single nail is lifting, breaking and cracking. There wasn't enough dip powder. One coat of the dip power is not enough. I pray this review helps someone... read more

I took the manicure service yesterday. I asked the nail artist to remove my gel and the cuticles of course. Just look at the result. Gel isn't cleaned. Cuticles are still there. They charged $30.90 for it. She almost cut my skin and I was hurt but she didn't even say sorry. read more
Ombré nails by LANA. Bumpy. Inconsistent. Ugly. I post this two weeks after the fact because she said she would make it up to me next time... I come back for a fill for her to upcharge me and when I mentioned my unsatisfaction from last appointment she instead got mad and asked why I didn't come back earlier. When she was doing my nails I did mention all the bumpiness, the "ombré" but not ombré look, and the hair in one nail... there was a lot of things wrong and I gave her the benefit of the doubt that she would give me a discount for next time since she had another client waiting. read more

I literally just walked out of the nail salon. Dont really need to say much, you can just look at the photo...the nail tech didn't paint all the way up making it look like a week old manicure. Cuticles and skin around my nails are a mess, shape is uneven...was supposed to get a 5 min massage. It was more like a 30 second rub down on the top of my hands. I brought my daughters here about a month ago for a kids mani/pedi. The nail polish started chipping the same day. Was completely gone 2 days later. I should have known better... smh read more

I've had my fair share of going to diff nail salons in south SJ, and this is probably my favorite new go-to spot now. Booking an appointment was simple - called few days ahead of time and asked for a 6pm appointment on Wed night. Salon was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. Beautiful, spacious, and clean inside - they take covid protocols here seriously. I did have to wait a long awhile to get seen, but they offered me a complimentary drink of wine and water, which was great! I've had both a gel manicure and regular pedicure done by Oanh. She was sweet and very nice to talk to. Fun fact: her name is actually NOT pronounced "one" (like how ppl have yelp reviewed..correct way is actually closer to "Juan/won") I had to ask her to say it a few times in Vietnamese for me and she said "Juan/won" is the correct way of saying it. Anyway, I showed Oanh the picture of the colors and design I wanted and she was able to replicate it really well to the best they can. I wanted baby blue with a spring design. I have short natural nails and didn't want them long because I have a hard time typing with long nails. But yes I was extremely happy that Oanh was able to shape my nails as "coffin/slim" as possible. She listened to my needs carefully and made sure I was doing okay. Overall I'm pleased with my nail results and will come back again! Price was right and customer service was excellent. Thank you Oanh! read more

The best place to get your nails done! Oanh is the absolute best I've been going to her for years to get acrylics done. She can literally do anything if you just show her a picture she can do it and make it even better than the picture. Definitely recommend her if you want acrylics or even a pedicure! read more
