If you've been feeling nervous about waxing or a first-timer, highly recommend this location. Such a game-changer compared to shaving!

I had a very disappointing experience with Emillee. Unfortunately, this was the second time I had a…read morebad experience with her. After my first appointment, I intentionally started booking with other estheticians at this location, and those experiences were excellent. I never had any issues with pain or my skin. This time, I didn't realize I had been assigned to Emillee again. During the waxing, I repeatedly asked her to be gentler because the pain was unbearable, but she continued anyway. The experience was extremely painful, and afterward my skin developed blisters. I've had waxing done many times before, including by other staff at this location, and I've never experienced anything like this. Throughout the appointment, she repeatedly commented that I had darker skin and darker hair. Those comments made me feel very uncomfortable and singled out. I also noticed her adding something to the wax during the appointment, although I wasn't told what it was. In addition, wax was spilled on both the floor and the table, making the entire appointment feel disorganized and unprofessional. During the service, I told her how much pain I was in and warned that I would consider taking legal action if my skin was injured because I felt my concerns were being ignored. Despite that, the service continued without any noticeable adjustment. Overall, this was one of the worst waxing experiences I've ever had. Based on my experience, I would not book with Emillee again.

In the past, I have felt worried about hairstylists giving off a judgy vibe. And if you're a girl, you know how humbling having that salon chair garment draped on you with your Voldemort turban on can be. Last thing I want is more judgment! But none of that here! Tiffany shared knowledge on the kind of hair I have and it was so nice to have a professional validate the things I think about my hair but have no knowledge of. She gave me recommendations on how to keep it healthy and encouraged me to take a break from coloring while my hair regains its strength. 100/10 recommend. Heads up! Parking lot is small

I know I can depend on Nancy to cut it exactly as I ask, and now, after so many years, I usually just say "the usual" and she cuts it perfectly. (My hair is short and "no fuss".) Recently, I let it get too long and was in dire need of a haircut. Nancy was on vacation and I couldn't wait another week, so I went to a fancy (expensive) salon in Willow Glen. They gave me one of the worst haircuts I've ever had. I lived with it for a week and then asked Nancy to fix it. She did a great job and it was a relief to be back with someone I trust. Nancy's prices are reasonable and she takes appointments.

They didn't have the exact color I wanted, but Kathy and Jenny were so accommodating. They didn't hesitate to try several similar shades on my nails and even mixed colors to create the exact look I was going for. I really appreciated how patient and willing they were to make sure I was happy with the color. Kathy also took her time caring for my cuticles and paid close attention to the details throughout the service. I never felt rushed, and I really appreciated the care she put into my manicure and pedicure. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience and would definitely come back!

I came back without specifying a technician for a second time. I didn't get the lady's name. Massage was rough. She cut my nail so deep that I told her it hurt. She said she needed to remove my in-growth (which i didn't know and had no problem with). My toe was bleeding the entire time of cutting and nail polish. She put alcohol on my bleeding toe and used acetone removed nail polish right next to my bleeding spot. I thought I had an in-growth that I didn't know , so I tolerated it. However , it's been 7 days and my infection at my toe isn't going away even after I put Neosporin for a couple of days.

Unfortunately, the pricing and lack of transparency completely overshadowed the visit. I was quoted $50 for a pedicure with gel included, but was charged $60 instead. The pedicure itself was extremely basic, and they kept trying to sell me on getting a massage included, but the price was going to jump to $80. There is no clear menu or service guide explaining what each pedicure includes, so it's difficult to know what you're actually paying for. Never once did anyone mention $60. Only $50 was mentioned multiple times. When I questioned the charge and explained that I had been told $50, they refused to honor the price I was quoted. That was incredibly frustrating and left me feeling taken advantage of as a customer. The pricing is also hard to justify overall. Gel-X with cat-eye polish is $120, which is quite expensive considering there are other salons offering comparable or better prices with much more attention to detail. I wanted a swirl with the cateye but their magnet isn't strong enough. Just looks like glitter, no movement at all with the cat eye. It's a shame because the salon is very clean and the overall experience was fine. And I'm looking for a new nail place and this would be perfect location wise because the one I used to go to is just a little too far and I can't get there with my schedule. However, cleanliness and ambiance don't make up for unclear pricing and poor customer service when a pricing discrepancy is brought to their attention. I would have had a much better impression if they had simply been transparent about their pricing and honored the quote they gave me. The experience made me leave feeling scammed. Definitely won't be back.

SHE THEN DECIDED TO CONTACT ME FROM ANOTHER NUMBER. THIS HAS GONE ON FOR 3 WEEKS NOW I wanted to like Anna as she comes off as sweet and does a decent job with waxing. But as they say you get what you pay for. When I tried to reschedule the day before due to having my car under maintenance (I even sent her proof of my receipt) she said she would take my deposit and charge me extra for a different day. She sent me her policy which you can see clearly states below nothing regarding rescheduling prior to your apt day. She then argued with me, updated her policy and blamed me for messing with her income. This is not only unprofessional but distasteful. Anna continued to tell me that I shouldn't be canceling (which I wasn't doing) because it hurts her business. After I told her I won't be coming back she doesn't get the clue and will continue to harass you. I've never experienced anything like this from a business provider before. I also worked in customer service my entire life. I hope Anna can get a grip and learn how to run her business with more professionalism. Taking clients money without having clear guidelines about changing appointments is essentially stealing.
