So as you can imagine my heart sank when right before my appointment with her when EWC opened back up I got a call that she was no longer with the company. Fast forward to now has her own business so of course I stayed loyal and came to her as soon as I could. Julie is amazing, she takes such great care of me and leaves my brows and face looking so amazing and clean. I don't know how she does it but her waxes are always painless and I have her do my full face so there are definitely tender areas but she knows exactly how to make it not hurt. Do yourself a favor and go see Julie, you'll never want to let anyone else other than her touch your brows ever again!

I just had my visit with Julie and she is amazing. I first saw her for an eyebrow/lip waxing. I…read moretold her my previous waxer made them uneven and that I wanted more of an arch. Julie did a great job of shaping my brows and  cleaning them up, my eyes looked lifted and my lip was smooth.  Her technique is almost painless. Then onto the Brazilian wax. I let her know that I had stopped getting waxes because I was getting many ingrown hairs and I wasn't getting the right information from my previous waxer at EWP on how to make them go way. Julie was again very nice and informative and let me know the different kinds of breakouts and ingrown hairs and the best remedies for them. The whole process was really fast and it honestly was the best wax I've had. So far I'm really impressed! She has client for life : )

I had to cancel a waxing appointment at my usual waxing place and book a last minute appointment…read morewith Alyssa -- and I'm glad I did! Alyssa's business is new, but she is not a new waxer. She's one of the sweeter and more personable waxers I've come across, and I've been getting waxed for years now. I liked the type of wax she used and was impressed with how near painless the whole ordeal was (as near painless as a Brazilian can be, anyway). It could have been the wax or just how Alyssa did things, but regardless, she is both quick and thorough. I'm definitely coming back to her, and I highly recommend her as a waxer. Other notes: Alyssa's place has ample parking in the back lot, and it is located inside an airbrush tanning studio. She's also still transitioning into the new business and is currently only booking for weekends. My understanding is that she will eventually have regular weekday appointments, but I recommend reaching out to her anyway to see if you can work something out. She's great!

I noticed that it had such great reviews and taking in all the information and tips I decided to give it a try. I booked my appointment through Style Seat which was easy and convenient and there was a first time visit option which was $21 for a Brazilian, you can't beat that. It is conveniently located on Camden right off the freeway in the cute Head To Toe Salon. Walking in was pleasant the place was very nice, staff was very welcoming. Sokie was extremely nice and made me feel comfortable and right at home. Her waxing room was so cute, nice decor, very clean and had a home-y feel (if that's even a word lol). Sokie made the experience very pleasant, she was very professional and very thorough which is a huge plus especially when you are laying there letting it all hang out. I have had a Brazilian once before but it was nothing like what I experienced here. She uses hard wax which does not require a strip and is a lot easier on the skin, it was a lot less painful then expected. She made sure everything was completely bare, not one hair in sight!! I will absolutely be coming back to Sokie for future waxes and recommend here to all.

There you have it, I'm out of the waxing closet! 5 stars for Sokie/Wax it ALL!
