I stopped by Francesca's to check out their closing sale. The store was socked with many nice things. The sale rages from 30 to 60%. All the costume jewelry was 30% off. Dresses were 40% off. I didn't see anything that was 60% off. I was warmly greeted by the sales associate, when I walked in. I haven't been here in years. I have bought jewelry from here in the past but stopped coming here because the gold items I purchased all tarnished and the quality was just not worth the price. They did have some cute purse charms. I decided to buy one and got 30% off. The sales associate said they may not be closing for good. They are not sure yet. Well the sign out front claims different. I had just read an article that these stores are closing for good. I really wish them the best. I hope that article was wrong. read more

I like to shop here because i like their cute and girly styles. Me and my friend was trying on this white sweaters see how it looks but it turned out so cute so i bought it. I also bought a few items online last month they had really good deals and more sizes. The cashier there was helpful, i was looking for size small but all sold out and she asked if i wanted to order in store and ship to the store for free. I also like their earrings some are so cute. I just felt like doing some window shopping this morning at my local mall Oakridge, and upon entry (I love coming in this cute boutique now and again), I was very politely greeted by Tori, with a smile and great conversation, who also was very kind enough to inform me of any current sales/promotions and product knowledge. I did not buy anything today, but I can definitely say, look out for Tori whenever you come to this Francesca's because she is the epitome of what true, genuine, sincere customer service should be! Found this store by accident but loved the selection and clothing. I thought I found my new go to store for my wife. Being a typical man I bought the wrong size. Tried to exchange the item. And , was very rudely informed that I could not because the price tag was removed? Who gives a gift and leaves a price tag on? In my generation that is a major blunder. Now instead of a happy returning customer, they have a disgruntled one that will tell everyone he knows and many more like you, "do not shop here".Be sure to click on the other customer comments under returns... Horrible shopping experience. Selena charged me two times for the same transaction. Few minutes after I left the shop I saw a double charge on my credit card app and realized her mistake. I went back to politely ask her to fix it. She was rude to me, she said it was impossible, she did everything correctly and made me pay once. She said: I've been doing this for 20 years. Like if she was unable to make mistakes for this reason. I called right away the credit card company and they confirmed double transaction. She didn't want to admit that she made a mistake. Thanks to Selena I had a terrible shopping experience and she made me waste time with the credit card company. I will never step into Francesca's and I highly suggest you to do the same. They have terrible costumer associate that don't know how to process correctly a transaction. read more

I was glad to discover that there is a physical store for FC. I'd occasionally peruse their website but never ordered anything bc if it didn't fit, it seemed like a hassle to return. Their collection is great especially if you need a dress/skirt. I'm attending 2 weddings in the month of July and needed some new attire. Luckily I found 2 nice dresses and within budget. I do agree with the other Yelpers that their customer service is lacking and could use some improvement. I can see by the other reviews that people feel the same. The young girls who actually work there don't know what they are doing regarding holds or new shipment but they are sweet. Cute store, went trick o treating with ma boy and realized I never reviewd this little boutique in the mall! They carry a large variety of cute clothing, summers the tops, skirts & dresses are gorgeous, I haven't checked out their winter line yet. They have dressing rooms so you can try stuff on. They have a various types of jewels, bags, clutches, and their online sales are awesome. Sometimes it pays to check out the merchandise in the stores and wait a while, if you're not looking to buy immediately, they go on sale in 2-3 weeks time with their merchandise turnover (i've noticed). read more

Finally a new store in Oakridge that caters to Women looking for affordable fashions! The store is situated right outside of Macy's on your way to Sephora, and I had to stop in. Visited this boutique just the other day. While I was browsing around the store an employee had the nerve to continuously bump into me, get in front of me while I was looking at clothes, and was just plain rude. She did not say excuse me, each time she would just say oh sorry. She did this MULTIPLE times to both my mother and I. I understand she was trying to organize the clothing but she needed to just slow down and put us customers as a priority and let us browse the clothing, rather than bumping into us, or rudely step in front of us while we are looking at clothes. .... Love their clothes. Super cute, good quality, and fits nicely! Their customer service . . . it's a hit or miss. Both misses were when I had to return something. The first time, I was returning a jacket that was a gift since it didn't fit me. As I'm in the process of returning it, a sales associate tries on the jacket immediately to see how it looks on her. I mean, that's fine and all, but isn't that kind of weird to do that in front of me WHILE I'm returning it? I thought that was super strange and unprofessional. The second instance was today. I was returning some maxi dresses, and one of the sales associate said the blue dress was pretty . . . she said it out loud, and I responded back, "Yea, it's a nice color, but sadly it doesn't fit me well." The staff before their remodel were adequate at best. They at least engaged in conversations with customers who came in, asked if they needed help etc. Now? It's a joke. You walk in and they couldn't care less. Sometimes there will only myself and one other customer and the staff would still continue their personal conversation. I guess the positive is that since they don't care. You don't have to worry about them hovering over you. Their stuff is pretty cute, sometimes a little overpriced. I have to admit that I have shopped at Oakridge for years and had not stepped into this store until this past weekend. But this weekend was different. My daughter and I arrived before most of the stores had opened. Francesca's Collections was the only store open (aside from Target, I suppose, and we already looked around there....needed to "kill" some more time). Also, there were a lot of people there, so we went in just to look around and see what it was about. This is what I thought: This is just the cutest store. They have some really beautiful pieces of clothing, cute journals (my teenager liked), watches, jewelry - you name it - and quite a lot of other things. While we were standing in line to purchase a couple things for my daughter, the salesladies announced a raffle. A RAFFLE? WHAT? I threw my name in just for fun - and then told my daughter, "Why not? Go ahead." We didn't think we'd win and we weren't even sure what the prize was. Like I said, we just walked in to look around, picked up a couple things and stood in line to purchase our items. As we were paying for our items, they called my daughter's name! WHAT? How lucky was that!!! We got a beautiful top (I say we because my daughter said I could have it), a "cool" journal my daughter loved, some jewelry (that my daughter also kept), a wonderful smelling candle, (which is burning right now as I type), a large eyeglass case (which is perfect because I didn't have one for a set of sunglasses I had), and a scarf. If you haven't been to this store, you should check it out. There's so much to see - and some really great items. My daughter also purchased a really cute owl watch and a journal (yes, another one - she is obsessed with journals). The salesladies were all really nice and friendly. I've walked past this store thousands of times and not sure why it never occured to me to check it out. Today, Francesca's drew me in with a Buy 1, Get One 50% (gifts table) sign. I am so glad I walked in. I walked out with 4 amazing looking canvases for my bedroom and my dauhter's bedroom. The sales associates working that day/time were so incredibly helpful and willing to helpme complete my purchase. 1 associate in particular went out of her way to help me. She took down items from a display so that I can take a closer look. She pointed in the right direction when I was looking for something specific. She even rung me up in a manner that got me the best deal without me having to ask. There are so manu unique and adorable items, from gifts to accessories to clothing. I love this place. read more

I walked into this store for the first time and found a have to have dress, I fell in LOVE! But I couldn't find it in my size. I was never greeted as I walked in and when I looked over to the register to ask for help the two girls were watching a video on a cell phone behind the counter. I stood and looked at them for a little bit and felt like I was interrupting them. One of the girls looked at me then went right back to the video. I have been going to this store ever since it opened at Oakridge. I love their novelty items and I've picked up many cute things here. The store has been remodeled but I can't say the same for their customer service. Out of all the times I have been here, not once was I greeted upon entrance. I understand that sometimes it is busy, but there are times when the store is completely empty and the ladies look at me and just ignore my presence. If that isn't bad enough, a white family enters after I do and they get the most pleasant greeting. How can I not think that this stores employees are PREJUDICE. If it was a one time thing, then I would give them the benefit of the doubt, but it has happened over numerous occasions. read more

I had never been in the store until last Saturday night and immediately fell in love. I browsed through the selections and found a dress that I FELL IN LOVE WITH! Of course it was the last one, so I tried it on and voila, it was meant to be. I took the dress to the front and Rebecca helped me out, I showed her there was a small tear in one of the seams, to which she replied that she could take 15% off but it would be FINAL sale. I deferred to simply pay the $47.00 and figured I could fix the seam on my own. This was at about 8:30 pm Saturday evening... The next day I went on the hunt for matching shoes and while placing the dress up to my body, I noticed a huge tear in the side of the dress under the left armpit. I was really bothered and called Rebecca who informed me to come in and speak with the assistant manager. I then began inspecting the dress and noticed not one or two but THREE other tears through the side seams and the back. At this point I was really upset and after a lunch appointment, headed back to Oakridge. When I arrived, Rebecca was there and so was the assistant manager. She took a look at the dress and I showed her the various tears and rips on the seams (the tags were still on the dress). I asked her to discount the dress since it was NOT up to par, especially for how much I paid for it. The assistant manager was nice enough stating that she "shouldn't be doing this" but she would go ahead and give me 20% discount, to which I was grateful. As Rebecca inspected the dress, she stated "interesting, I didn't see these tears last night" which I took as her assuming I had made the tears. I was discouraged with her reaction and both of them made me feel like it was my fault the dress had the tears. Had that been the case, I would not have brought the dress back. The store is really great, love the clothing and the kitsch type feel, but the customer service was NOT acceptable. The fact that I had to basically talk them into giving me a discount on damaged goods is completely ludicrous. I will be calling the head manager to voice my concern with the customer service and having a $45.00 dress on a rack full of tears. I will not be shopping at the Oakridge store again, but I will go to the Los Gatos one, where I am hoping to find a better interaction with the sales team. Though I was grateful for the discount, I was not happy with the customer service I recieved, at all. read more

I can't believe I never knew about this store til a few weeks ago! Apparently I'm slow and this store has been around and actually is a chain. Although I have yet to purchase anything here because of lack of time, the selection is endless and so my style. Colorful tops and dresses with jewelry and accessories to match. They even have cute little trinkets that you can buy as gifts and cute home decor items. Pretty reasonable prices as well. Not as cheap as F21, but still reasonable. I love this store. It's very boutiquey in a land of commercialism and chain stores. As I like to mention (over and over and over again) I'm a New Yorker at heart and it's stores like this one (and Therapy Vintage and Vogue in Campbell) that keep me from abandoning this state for good. Thanks to my new-found baby weight I can't really get into the clothing so much here, but I hope the rest of you can enjoy them.
