I love going to Westgate because it has several great stores in one spot. I rarely go to GAP because I often prefer Old Navy (trendier) or Banana Republic (for work clothes) but when I do, it's because I need some basics. This outlet store is well stocked in women's clothing and although they don't have variety of sizes (several items I liked where out of my size), they have assortment of styles for casual, work, & cozy. Because it is factory, be sure you inspect the item as the quality isn't great. I came during the Memorial Day weekend sales so everything was discounted. I love going through the clearance which often has an additional discount to buy off season items. The store was clean on a Saturday morning, there were no lines & the fitting rooms were spotless. read more

Loved their service and cleanliness! They have ample parking right outside the store and a personal gate where u can enter into the store right from where you park. So no need to walk thru a shared commin area of mall space and juggling with other customers. Super safe for covid times where u dont want to un-necessarily be exposing yourself to 50 extra people while visiting a store. I ordered online and got great deals and had some returns so visited their saratoga store. The staff was friendly and welckming. Clothes were neatly stacked and seemed like good deals going on in-store as well (example 40% off clearance) They had 3-4 counters to check out which meant i was catered too as soon as i entered the line. The revamping of Westgate Mall continues with the welcome addition of Gap Outlet (GO). Located near Old Navy and Nordstrom Rack, very happy to see this store here. Came here during there grand opening. Disappointed there was no grand opening special or free eco bag give away. Most items were just 20%-30%. Store was nicely layout with nice wood flooring and well organized. Will definitely come back when they have a sale. Westgate is adding more brand name stores. Stay tune for more addition to Westgate Mall. read more

I like Gap products so I was glad to have found this place thru Yelp. This one is located at the West Gate mall so they got lots of parking space. I hate places with no or very hard to find spot parking. First: Yelp says Gap Outlet. I think it should say Gap Factory. Correct me if Im wrong but although this place is still cheap but its not as cheap as an outlet. I was able to get their current online promo so I didnt really have much issues on the price at the time of my purchase. This store is clean. Gotta come back here next time read more

I come here all the time to shop. Such a good deal on baby clothes and adult clothes. Ashley is a great worker she helped me and my mom find sizes for clothes we wanted and when it wasn't available she assisted us in ordering online. The checkout line is usually really long but moves pretty fast. read more

Don't get me wrong, I'm stoked there is a Gap Outlet now even closer to where I live. But!!! I'm sad that the store is rather on the small side. I'm a girl, look at how every store in America is laid out, we take over 75% of the stores with women's clothing. Haha. That being said, I could totally go for more Gap options. So it's Labor Day today and I thought it would be the best time to stock on clothes supplies especially when Gap send emails to me everyday regarding discounts and deals online and at stores. I have a Gap credit card which I hardly use. So here I am bright and early , excited with all the deals plus on top of my head, it'll all be a steal with an additional 40% off on top of every sale item. At least that's what Gap email advertised. My bag was full and I was tired from fitting it all. I mentally counted and added what I had and if it was within my budget... and it was. Much to my dismay... gap in Saratoga said the 40% on top of everything wasn't valid since Gap Saratoga was an Outlet and Gap email didn't stipulate that the discounts wasn't applicable at Gap outlets. I never knew Gap in Saratoga was an outlet. There was no sign. What's the difference. Was it cheaper in general . Does Gap in Saratoga have different supplies? Anyhoooo... I ended up returning half of everything in my bag to fit my budget coz I didn't get the 40%. So be warned..... online Gap sales advertisement of discounts applies to GAP stores only. I'm so sorry if I'm spelling this wrong but Patina was so kind to look for a specific item for me over the phone before I headed over there. She held the items at the cash wrap for me. Of course I had to find a couple more items though I was not planning on shopping. The store is always bright, clean and nice. I've been going there for years and will continue to do so. On a Saturday night at 8:38pm...only one register and there are 20 plus people in line. The store itself is a mess and we have people just waiting for the registers. I count three employees...and the line is 16deep at 840pm read more

Gap Factory - Lines galore - Men's Clothing Near Me - San Jose, California

I got here a little after 12PM today. A friendly associate greeted shoppers as they entered the store from the mall side. Two other associates did the "look right past customers" routine. A shopper said hi to one of these associates near the street side store entrance, and this particular associate did not respond at all; this shopper ended up getting assistance from the aforementioned friendly associate by the mall side store entrance, and the other associate that was walking around looked totally spaced out. There were discount signs all over the store, a mix of 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50% Off. I saw a clearance rack that said "Take an Additional 30% Off". Some of the clearance items, in my opinion, were not in salable condition - major fraying of scarves that made said scarves look like they were ready for a textile recycling bin. This location has a good mix of men's , women's, and children's clothing. Reusable shopping bags were $6.99 with 20% Off to be taken at the register. Scarves, tights, and leggings were 40% Off. The women's active wear jackets were 20% Off. I didn't buy any clothing, because nearly all the women's clothing that I saw was L or XL. Couldn't find any M or S, but did see some XS sizes. There were lot of scarves near the registers, from really lightweight ones to the bulky kind. I got a cable knit infinity scarf, which was $29.95 before the 40% Off taken at the register. There were two cashiers and one customer ahead of me in line. I ended up waiting in line for nearly 15 minutes because one of the cashiers left the registers to sort hangers as soon as she was finished with her customer, and the sole cashier kept running into difficulties while trying to process a return for the customer she was helping. My cashier was friendly and told me to have a great afternoon, plus there was no pressure to get a Gap credit card. I parked by the Westgate entrance next to Michaels - this Gap Outlet is ahead to one's left as one enters the shopping center through this entrance. It's located between Old Navy and the Nike Factory Store if you are approaching Westgate from the other side. read more

This Gap outlet has excellent customer service. Although it is a factory store and the prices are lower and even further discounted with specials, the employees treat customers extremely well. They're helpful, always willing to go grab another size. They ask you if you need help finding things and it's not just because they don't want you to mess up their piles (like a lot of stores). They seem to have good teamwork and work together to help customers. They have a staff person in the dressing rooms which is very helpful as it prevents customers from having to go get alternate sizes themselves. I've always been greeted by friendly staff and the staff working the registers are always courteous. read more

Yay everything here is 50% off! That said if you go to the women's department most sweaters can only be found in L, XL and XS so that doesn't leave much for most of us. For the guys most of the stuff is kinda what you would find during any sale, a good sale but still. It's mainly the basics, and if that's what you need you are good here. Now for kids it's a different story, my little girl got a whole bunch of stuff the last time I was here and when it came to the prices I would have easily spent the same at target. Nice looking store too. Only downside, the folks behind the register are suuuuuuper slow and look bored. The exception is the Eastern European lady who was super nice to me. When I can find khaki CAPRI pants that fit my short Asian legs at the ankles as if they were regular slacks so I don't have to hem them and they are ON SALE 60% off, five stars. I'm not a big shopping person but I enjoyed my time at this Gap so I wanted to leave a nice review for them. We went on a Sunday and it's the holiday season so it was pretty packed and the line for the register was extremely long. I was a bit annoyed at the fact that there was only two registers that were open but soon they had four registers going and line moved pretty fast. I think more than anything the workers were nice and professional and my wife and I found them to be very helpful. Shopping during the holidays can be very stressful at times but I appreciated how the staff made it easier for me and my wife. read more

In this store, I saw some sleeping clothes but they were okay. I didn't bought any clothes in this store. The line was kind of long. But I didn't know if they had anymore good sleeping clothes here or not. Somehow I'll still come here if they provide any more sleeping clothes. Good service. read more

They always only have one register open with massive lines, it's ridiculous.. This time a second employee was HANGING CLOTHES behind the register watching the massive line. I worked in Retail for 5+ years and it should be common sense to help customers first, then fold and hang clothes... Almost left without purchasing my clothes. read more

The store manager needs to open more registers when the line is long and customers are clearly annoyed. Been stuck in line for 15 minutes because someone is applying for a credit card and backing up the line. I would have left 10 minutes ago if shopping for myself but my stupid husband really wants cheap shorts. The store is filled with associates putting away clothes but what does that matter if you are going to lose sales from people leaving the line at the cash register. I was asked if I needed help within five minutes of entering, and I got a pair of khaki jeans for a whopping 60% off. My size is hard to come by, but this GAP had a great selection of mono-colored clothing, and after days of searching, I finally found what I was looking for at a bargain. read more

Even though I loathe the lines at this store, I have always been impressed by their customer service. Tonight, while shopping on one of the busiest nights of the year, while standing in one of the longest lines I have seen at the store I was able to witness their staff, once again, be phenomenal. A young girl with autism kept going up to the register area and behind it to watch the cashiers ring up customers; the young lady's parents were too bothered with shopping to keep tabs on their daughter. Throughout the entire half hour I was in line, I witnessed all four of the Gap employees behind the counter (3 cashiers and 1 doing trash/organizing) treat the young lady with complete respect, kindness, patience, and compassion. Each responded to her inquisitive questions and verbally walked her through what they were each doing behind the counter. Absolute kudos to the staff working tonight. Your kindness did not go unnoticed! Wish more workers in customer service were as kind and compassionate as the staff at this store! read more

Love that this place to close to my house. I came recently and ended up buying a bunch of sleep shirts/pants since they had a sale. I found a coupon online on my phone while I was in line, and my cashier made it work, so I got a discount on top of a discount! Yay! Besides the sleep wear, I think the rest of the clothing selection is mediocre at best. read more

I recently shopped at Gap Factory for my 2 sons Easter outfits. Everything was fine up until my husband and I were ready to leave. The door alarm went off. Not thinking any thing of it, I went to the register to let the cashier know and to double check for censors. She thoroughly went thru it for a second time (first time while she was ringing up the items) and asked me if I had other bags and if she could look in them. I responded with, that was all I had. she then called for another associate to follow me out the door to "make sure it was the bag making the alarm going off" I felt humiliated, she was insinuating that I must have stolen something. In front of a busy line of people. I wish I would've reacted and said something but I just kinda walked away toward the exit pretty much thinking "did she really just say that"? Once I got to the door the bag went off again, I turned around annoyed now, handed my bag again to the associate that was directed to "follow me" she immediately, grabbed a pair of jeans out , reached into the pocket and pulled out a censor. Now let me say this again! The cashier rung up the items, took off the censors and then after the door alarm went off the 1st time patted them down again . There is no way you wouldn't have felt that. This was intentional. And it has happened to my friend also. Except with her, they left the needle and topper in the toddler pants. And when they asked to see her bags she refused because she knew whatever was making the alarm go off was the Gap bag. Because when she walked into the store nothing made the doors alarm. She called the store and told them how hazardous this was and how she believed it was purposely put in there because he son had tried those very pants on in the fitting room. ---- back to my story. Once the associate pulled the censor out I asked her , " that was in the pocket "? She said yes , I told her that's very weird. Since these were checked 2x already. ... I have contacted GAP about the incident and they are supposed to get back to me today. This is discrimination, both my friend and I are young Hispanic women. Who dealt with. Is almost a month apart. We figured out it was the same cashier who did this to both of us. And from the response I got from GAP this is not , protocol. read more
