Stopped by today to pick up an online order. I really love this particular location. The store is always organized so nice and they have lovely displays of their clothes. They have a great sale going on for Cyber Monday. They will honor the online prices in the store. I decided to look around after I picked up my online order. I found a cute seasonal sweater. I got 50% off and an additional 20% off. That's a great deal. I also love their customer service. Their sales associates are so helpful and go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for. I highly recommend shopping here. I've been twice, and both times the employees were friendly and helpful. They took my items and put them in a room with my name on it, and remember my name when I was checking out. Being in my 40's, I was unsure where to shop for age appropriate clothes now. SHADY! I purchased several items online and unfortunately many of the items weren't great so I returned them at the store. I had my receipts. I had paid with a gift card and my debit. When the girl issued my return, she insisted on a merchandise credit. I asked if she could put it back on my gift card. She said no. I said ok. Come to find out later, I can't use it online! That's a super shady tactic to try to force me to shop in store. I never find anything to buy in this store. It's typically half empty due to no inventory and nobody even works there. I give it 2 stars just because the store is well kept. However, customer service is terrible. To the employee with the braid working on March 27,2017, thank you for having a smug face and judging the customers as they came in. Not only that, to fold a few pairs of jeans she threw it on the ground to fold it. Talk about some decency here lol. Train your employees better. Update: Came by and checked it out. I was honestly hoping I would enjoy my experience but nope. No one greeted, no one helped even though they kept staring. Guess they lost another star from me. Store still well kept in ways. Clothes here are inexpensive especially when they have sales on top of sales -- my wardrobe seemingly grows from LOFT. LOFT is also one of the only retailers that consistently offers a wide variety of their items in PXXS or 00P -- a size I can wear with NO alterations. When I got a new job that required business clothes, I turned to LOFT and was able to get some great basic pieces on which to build outfits. The clothes are of quality and lasts after washing at home (which is really important to me unlike BR's stuff which shrink and fade). The petite section here is rather skimpy but there is always a selection of sales for both petites and regular sizes. I order a great many items online to find key pieces to keep and the SAs, though not welcoming with my returns, do them without grumbling. I kind of just go in and out, buy stuff, keep some, and return some. The SAs have changed and are somewhat friendlier. A wider selection of merchandise can be found at VF or Santana Row but this location is really convenient. Sometimes the clothes are cheaper in-store, but at times I've found the reverse to be true (online). Just wait for sales on sales (e.g. 50% off of already reduced merch) because I've found everything marked down at some point or another. Lastly, the clothes here are pretty basic and aren't overwhelmingly trendy so you will find women ranging in age shopping here (mid-20s to mid-50s). Don't let that deter you as they have some really cute pieces that are still fresh and not mature. Make sure to check out their accessories too. read more

I went into Loft on the day before Thanksgiving totally desperate to find an outfit to wear the next day. I had scoured the mall and was quite frankly ready to wear sweats to dinner. I didn't care! I had never shopped at Loft before and didn't know what to expect. Upon entering I was immediately approached by an SA who informed me that everything in the store was 50% off.... say what?! After a brief convo about what I was looking for she asked if she could help me shop for outfits. YES, please! I said and we were off. At one point she asked me what size jeans I wear and after saying I wear a 10 she looked at me and said: "You look like a size 8 to me" I love her, even if she's lying to my face. We compiled many outfits and she set me up with a fitting room, checked on my frequently, gave me honest opinions and was never overly pushy. The most amazing part to me what that the SA genuinely just wanted to help me find a great outfit. I was shocked to find out she wasn't working on commission because in today's world, service like that is almost impossible to come by. Great hiring profile! I bought an outfit that day and since then have continued to shop Loft from coast (California) to coast (Maine) receiving stellar service on both coasts! I love the style of clothing, the fit of clothing (those size 8's fit like a glove!!) and overall brand of Loft... as my closet and bank account can definitely verify. read more

I am so furious with this place! I would give 0 stars. Me and my mother came in to look at the tops that were listed as $8. After choosing the tops, we were cautious of the pricing knowing that some might not count as 8$. I asked the woman at the register to price check the tops. She blatantly BLURTED that they were all $8 at me, as if she was annoyed that I had even asked. I took the message and payed for my stuff. Buying 4 sweaters of 8 dollars would've came to the price of around 24$ plus tax. My total came out to be $43. It turned out that one of the tops were $16!!! She was unbothered to check, and now I had payed 16 for an unworthy thin top that I wouldn't have bought I if I knew!!!! The monitor was broken at the time apparently, so I wasn't able to see the prices as she scanned them. I am very angry as these tops are final sale. Her laziness costed me. So to the female African American (I only use this to more specifically describe the employee and in no way want to use to insult) employee, who was working the register on June 29, I am furious with your lack of effort. I will wait for a response and will never come back to a place with SCAMMERS working front desk! read more

I decided it's time to grow up and start looking like an adult...yep..that's right! I am a 34 year old woman and need to stop dressing like I am 24! So I decided to step out of the "Juniors" clothes and check out Ann Taylor. I had been curious about their clothes for some time. I always liked their clothes when I strolled by but was always intimidated for some reason. Then it occurred to me that I could really use some new work clothes but maybe some new play clothes too...so came here to check things out. I fell in love with a million things here! Yeah! My tastes in clothes have definitely changed and I am glad to know that I can count on Ann Taylor for sophisticated but fun clothes. I took about a million things into the dressing room and realized that everything I tried on was a little too big. Hmmmm...I guess that Juniors size 6 is not the same as an adults woman size 6?! I was instantly helped by Kathleen who helped me find smaller sizes. When I told her my dilemma she looked at me and said "You probably wear a size 2" (SHUT UP! God I love you already!! A size 2!!!???) I told her I didn't believe her but I loved her anyways Ha! Ha! We rounded up new sizes in everything I liked and I tried on everything. She even had me try on a few other things she thought I might like while I was changing. She was very very helpful and I walked away spending quite a chunk of money on some new clothes but I figured I was trying to spruce up my wardrobe and this was the perfect time to start. I loved their pants here which is good because I have such a hard time finding pants I like. The tops here are cute too but I probably won't buy too many tops here. I only found one top I liked. I did find this super hot black dress though...my husband is going to freak out when he sees it. I have been hiding it from him since we are going to SF tomorrow to see Wicked...so it will be a nice little surprise for him. Overall this store is awesome and will become a usual stop for me when I am at the mall. I can't thank Kathleen enough for all of her help. I am giving one star less because I wish they had a better selection of Petite clothing....but I might find more at Valley Fair or online. read more

The store is fun but the employees are not. It's not a happy attitude they give off, but more like a chore being there working there. I like that they don't get in your face and let you look around, but once paying I am used to stores smiling and saying thank u and all this and that. Maybe that's fake? Maybe it is better to express their true feelings of customers? One lady never smiles. She reminds me of eeyore always melancholy, like she just came back from a funeral all the time. If you haven't visited The Loft in the Oakridge Mall, you should. I have loved this brand not only for the amazing quality, fit, and fashion but for the customer service I get there when I go. Kiana and Maya are my heroes. Brianna is a peach. You need something, they go above and beyond. I'll stop in sometimes for fun just to talk with the gals and to laugh, and usually leave with something adorable. Total of 3 employees and they are all busy talking, folding, or checking stock (this is the manager). Lamest mall here. I miss South Coast and Fashion Island. I love the Loft. I am reviewing this specific location because it's closest to my house, but the review is really for the chain as a whole. I have a slight addiction to this store and it's hard for me to walk out without buying something. I think about 1/3 to 1/2 of my wardrobe is from here. I am a teacher, and first of all, there is a teacher discount of 15% EVERY TIME you shop! Second, this place is great because it is fairly affordable and they have cute, professional clothes for me to wear to work, but I also find some casual and even going out clothes sometimes. They sometimes have some great sale items too. I just got a cute shirt for $9.89. and a dress, originally $79, for $37! My only complaint is that their pants don't fit me that well, but they have different cuts- I think I just haven't had luck with that lately. But I get enough shirts and dresses to make up for it- and they make you feel skinny because their sizes run really big. read more

I give this place NO stars(if I could). I went to Oakridge mall yesterday and was hoping to find some nice new clothes at Ann Taylor Loft. When I walked in there was this blond spiky hair tall women standing on a ladder hanging clothes. She did not acknowledge me or my mother. I thought that was rude and then all of a sudden she started talking about handicap people negatively. She was talking to another co-worker that was folding clothes as well. She talked of how annoying they are and that she does not like when they come in the store because she can't see them. She then talked about when she was on a plane and was annoyed when a handicap person came on the plane. I was so shocked! How rude and unacceptable. Thank heavens there was no handicap person on the store at the time. I wanted so badly to say something to that spikey headed witch. I actually plan to report her to the district manager.
