I recently came here to do a return and what I like about this location is that it's never busy crowded and is normally stocked with all sizes. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. Even though I knew that there were better deals online I still browsed and did a little shopping. I didn't have access to checking my phone and decided to purchase the clothes anyways. I was talking to the cashier and she said she'd be happy to check the online prices which showed it was cheaper. She went ahead and honored it. This Old Navy was ok... I asked two staff members what time they closed and the first one said they closed at 10.... She thinks. So, I ask another employee she said they close at 9. We still had 45 minutes before closing time to browse. We didn't find anything in particular so we started our way back to the where we entered around 8:43pm and it was locked. We asked if we can exit and she said no because they are closing. I told her we still had 17 minutes and the girl said we still couldn't exit that way. I wanted to check out another store within the plaza but missed out because I would have to walk all the way around to enter again. They had some good sales but I don't care for the quality of clothes for women and the sizes are random for my daughter. My husband is a fan of their clothes though. read more

Decided to come to this location Saturday evening to spend my old navy cash that was expiring. I had two gift cards that I planned on using for my purchase as well. I walk in and go straight to my size and find plenty of items no problem. There was four employees standing around laughing and talking which was not a problem cause I believe they should have a good time at the their job. I waited for them to stop laughing then asked hey can I get a price check, one girl grabs her scanner and says oh I'm signed out and asked another girl was she signed into hers. She says um yes I guess, walks over checks the price and walks away. I go the line stand there for about 10 mins before it's my turn. I asks the cashier to check the balance of my gift cards before we start the transaction. I scan the first one it's prints out the balance I scan the second one and it keeps saying error. She after having me try about 10 times she finally says I'll try. She ends up manually typing it In and it prints out the balance. Now she starts ringing up my items and I already know I want to use the trouble maker card so I can just be done with it. We both know their is a balance so it shouldn't be a problem. When it's time to pay I scan the card again and it says error. So she takes it and manually typed it in and then it asks for the numbers on the back where you have to peel off the plastic. She peels off the plastic as well as the numbers so now we don't have the numbers on the back that we need to continue with the transaction. We keep trying and guessing the numbers and asking the employee to come try and it's not working. Again we know there is money on the card we know the amount so I asked can you just give me a gift card with that amount and put it towards this transaction. She says let's try another register first. We do that and it doesn't work. Now the assistant manager comes only to tell me that's theirs nothing she can do. Now I have to call corporate to figure it out since they couldn't. Very disappointed read more

I placed a pickup order at this location and was able to get my order easily with no wait. I returned a couple days later to browse and purchase some other items a part of their Black Friday sale. I work in apparel as well and I will say that their visual standards here are amazing. Everything is organized and easy to find and signing is clear and easy to understand. There was plenty of staff around to assist with any questions. One of the girls I asked for assistance wasn't very friendly, but I understand given it's the holidays and she probably gets tons of questions all day long. I don't go to this location because it is a bit further away from me but I will now be making the trip instead of going to the Great Mall or Valley Fair location! First, this store is clean and well stocked! Great Mall is always a mess, the lines are ridiculous & because it is an outlet, it doesn't have new stuff. This location has so many options and the store is huge! I went to Valley Fair location and bought a lot of stuff. I get home and realize they left security tag on one shirt and one dress had a hole! I didn't want to go back to that so I came here instead and Mitchell went out of his way to help me. My experience was at the front register. One cashier with many people waiting in line. I had about $150 worth of clothes in my hand and I was literally going to walk away from it since there was other staff that just meander near the one cashier and didn't offer to open up or help. Some girl finally came up to help out and she was extremely rude. Screamed next and sure made the customers feel welcomed (sarcasm) I swear that upset me cuz without us your store would be closed and I could just buy this online to not deal with the bad customer service. Anyways finally got to the original cashier and she rang me up. No one asks to help you. They suggested I put myself in their mailing list to get discounts. I got so many on my email. Unfortunately every time I went there none of the discounts help me. If I could give it a zero, I would. I bought a belt for my son for Christmas, and while I know Old Navy is not known for their quality, and is a low end brand, I still expected the belt to last longer than 4 weeks. After hardly using the belt, the buckle separate from the rest of the belt, making the belt unusable. Okay, I get it, sometimes this happens. But what took me completely by surprise was the fact that Old Navy would not stand behind their product. Because the belt had been worn, they refused to,accept the return. Really, you got to be kidding me, I'd not even be there if it held together, of course it's been worn, that's the whole problem, it literally fell apart. If ifit would. It hold up to,about 3-4 weeks of use, I would not even be there. I don't see how this type of customer service can even survive in today's market. I was shocked and insulted that I could not get them to return the belt. I will never shop at old navy again. Probably not The Gap or Banana Republic either, given it's all the Sam company. I was totally shocked that they would not return it, when I had my original receipt in hand. Any company with this level,of respect for their customer does not deserve my business. Maybe they are fine for a cheap tee or tank, but if it has buttons or zippers or anything else, watch out. This Old Navy location is HUGE! and much cleaner and more organized that the Great Mall Location. I do enjoy their pricing on clothing as well as the style and comfort of the clothes. For example, 5$ clothing options for my son and 5$ basic t options for myself. The longevity of the clothing for me is about 2 -3 seasons. I don't think the shoes are a wise investment as they make my feet hurt after some wear and they don't last that long. The fit of the jeans don't work for my petite frame so I stay clear of those. I also bought a lot of my maternity clothing at Old Navy. And Luckily, my maternity clothes are still in good shape for the next baby, or to be passed along! So far, So good! read more

This is my local go-to Old Navy location- and it's so convenient, I've started shopping here instead of doing the late-night online binge-shopping that usually results in numerous returns and checking account regret. Definitely get on the mailing list- lately I've been getting a bunch of one-day in-store-only sale offers, such as 20% off activewear or $5 tees for the family. Usually employees here are pretty good about honoring sales from their email blasts without requiring you to print them out and bring them in. Clearance selection at this location is a bit all over the place rather than in a designated area in the back. Head toward the middle and look for red or orange signage if you're just here to check those items out. Also check by the scarves/shoes racks- each recent visit I've made here at least has a few select patterns and bags on sale, even if there isn't a sign about it. Only downside here is that during the day, especially the weekdays, there aren't many employees working, which can result in two registers and ten people in line, like I experienced yesterday. read more

It never fails. I go into Old Navy with the intent to buy a cute pair of $29 baby blue cotton cargo pants that a co-worker was wearing the other day....and come out with $300+ of goodies. How is this possible you ask? I know, I wonder the same thing. Can I help it that they had so many summer items on sale? That I haven't been shopping outside of a food-related store in about 3 months? That those cute little 'in this year, gone the next' gladiator sandals with cute black beads were $19.50? Nope nope and nope. And my hub desperately needed some new weekend clothes because the ones he is wearing that I bought him last year have HOLES in them and I swear he looks like he's homeless. And he somehow only manages to wear whatever *I* buy for him. Like it's my fault if he doesn't have clothes. Which is why he will be so excited about that cute baby blue polo I got today. Not. Too bad! While I was signing my life away for the purchases...the gal mentioned that their clearance summer sale was on and that we could get 50% off the clearance items starting today. I said...well did anything I buy today qualify? She said Nope. Well, of course, isn't THAT typical?? I go into a shop where everything is $30 or less, come out with a bag that is giving my arm toning class a run for it's money with it's heftiness, and I still manage to not snag any SUPER LOW clearance deals. Which means tanks are like $3. Go figure. Old Navy is awesome for all those little tanks, tshirts, cheapo in-the-moment shoes and super cute hot pink summer dresses that flatter your arms...just be sure your wallet is ready! I was here around 10:30AM today, and I've been to this Westgate Center location three times in the past four months (same goes for the Valley Fair location). I have found that the Valley Fair location has a better range of sizes; I've bought jeans from there a few times. At this location, many of the jeans were size 12 and size 14. I saw some size 4 jeans. I could not find size 6 in any style of their jeans. The dressing room attendant was friendly, and he wrote each shopper's name and number of items on the dry erase boards attached to the dressing room doors. Some of the dresses on the clearance racks had numerous makeup stains. This location carries cotton tote bags ($5.50 each, near the cash registers), which I was unable to find at The Great Mall, Hillsdale Shopping Center, and Valley Fair locations. These tote bags are lightweight, and I keep a few in my car so that I always have a reusable bag handy. The employees on the sales floor did not acknowledge shoppers. One employee was walking so fast that she was practically zooming past shoppers. I was near the sterling silver jewelry when I saw another employee step directly in front of a shopper who was looking at costume jewelry, and proceeded to sort items. The employee was completely blocking the shopper's view, and clearly did not care. The shopper was annoyed, and left the section. I had seven people ahead of me in line. There were two cashiers, and my cashier greeted me and was happy to apply my 10% off discount when I gave her a previous receipt with the discount code, which I had received after completing an online survey mentioned on my receipt from three weeks ago. There is a "Labor of Love" sale going on now thru September 1st. The cotton totes were 30% off, tights were 20% off, sterling silver chain bracelets were 20% off, and a studded tank was 10% off. After applying the10% off survey code, my purchases were a steal. My cashier handed me my receipt with another survey attached (I don't know if these surveys are randomly given out, but I've gotten one just about every time I've shopped at an Old Navy), and told me to have a great day. I love Old Navy. I usually can find tons of cute clothes, and they are usually pretty inexpensive, especially when they are having a sale! I haven't been buying clothes for myself lately because 1) I've been a little short on cash, and 2) I've been a little extra on weight, and haven't wanted to buy clothes that are (hopefully) going to be too big for me in short order. But I am going on a trip next week, and I need a few casual outfits to wear so that I don't look like a slob. Not wanting to spend a ton of money, of course I chose to go to Old Navy. I love their jeans, and they always have great casual tops. I was happy to discover that a sale was going on, so tons of their stuff was $5-$15, which was certainly my price range. I found a good deal of cute stuff to try on, and was walking around a display to look at something else, and had to cut close to the display to avoid running into a ladder. I failed to see a little sign sticking off of the edge of the counter, and not only did I slice my jeans open, I got a little scratch on my hip/thigh area, as well. Let me tell you, I was far more upset about ripping my jeans than my flesh. I mentioned it to a girl that was working in that area, so that she could do something about the sign. She asked me how I was, and I let her know I was fine. I then went and tried my selected items on, and just couldn't stop thinking about the fact that I just ruined the only pair of jeans that I currently fit into comfortably and that are appropriate for work (I have other "going out" jeans that are too long to wear with sneakers). I went back to the girl that I told about my sliced jeans to let her know that it did get a little cut (I didn't think that I had when it first happened), and asked her if there was anything that Old Navy could do since I WAS wearing Old Navy Jeans and they got ripped in their store, etc. She said she needed to go talk to her manager. A couple of minutes later, the customer service manager, Maria Jose, came over to help me out. She apologized for the incident and let me know that they would replace my jeans for free! I was SO happy!! And it was incredibly easy. She got my basic contact information to file an incident report (since I had gotten hurt), and then when I was ready to check out, they gave me a replacement pair of jeans for free. They didn't give me any attitude, they seemed genuinely sorry that I got hurt and that I ripped my jeans. The girl had taken the sign down right after the incident happened, too. It was just really nice to have this situation resolved so quickly and nicely. I was very impressed with their customer service. Way to go, Old Navy! read more

So it's Easter Sunday, I HAVE to shop...I get that feeling oh, I don't know...every other day, kind of like a drug addict I would guess, where if I don't shop I'll scratch all of my skin off and clean the entire house with a toothbrush.... anyhoo, Easter Sunday, nothing is open...I don't know what the F I'm going to do, so I call every store I can think of and alas, someone at little old, Old Navy (that was awkward to type) answered and made my day. I've never been a big Old Navy shopper until I stumbled into one a few weeks ago in Sacramento on my way to Ulta. I got 3 of this seasons "must haves" ; a safari jacket, a pair of white pants, and a wood bracelet...all for like $60! Today I really just wanted a few cheap black ribbed tanks for yoga, and at 2 for $15, I could not have been happier. I almost bought a super cute black ruffly bikini, but I resisted. I'm not sure why because it would have only set me back like, $33. Yeah, I'm gonna go back tomorrow and get the darn swimsuit. What the hell is wrong with me? Congratulations Old Navy. Why did Old Navy switch from the oval logo to the new "ON" logo, which is strikingly similar to the Lite-On logo? Bad move. This particular Old Navy keeps a pretty good selection of sizes in stock, but everything else is found to be lacking. Even hours into today's $12 denim sale, I was able to find my size in stock. (And I wear a pretty common size, 33x32 loose fit. Fully expected it to be sold out.) Pretty sweet, except that the too-high regular price of $30 makes it seem like a better deal than it is. And it was non-trivial finding the right size, as the racks and shelves were in disarray. An employee asked if there was a certain size he could help me find; I declined, because with everything all out of order, he certainly wouldn't fare any better in the search. The shopping experience as a whole was pretty lousy though. Because of the sale, the Westgate parking lot was pretty full. Inside the store, dozens of people languished in line, waiting to check out. At least 15 people were queued up for the dressing room, somewhat blocking off the men's clearance rack. Merchandise racks and shelves were a mess. While I was shopping, an employee asked if I wanted to apply for an Old Navy card. What is this, Fry's? NO. (And that doesn't stand for Navy Old. Or Lite-No. No means no.) The pre-checkout area used to be roped off, so there was one big long line that led to all the cashiers. The ropes are gone, so it seems there is a line for each pair of checkout lanes now. Okay. I get in line for lane #7 and #8. Right before I reach the front of the line, the cashier at #7 helps the customer carry her bags out to her car. Okay. Waiting, waiting. How far did this woman park? Waiting, waiting. Finally, the cashier is on her way back to the storefront. Here she comes back to lane #7. And there she goes. Right past, never to return. Okay. Lane #7 never reopens. Eventually I check out in lane #8. Here's the thing about shopping. As I leave the store, I shouldn't be remarking to myself how it was a huge ordeal. I should have left the store thinking I got a great deal, $38.97 for 3 pairs of jeans... not thinking about the disappearing cashier. read more

Old Navy is like a less expensive version of the Gap. They sell stuff for everyone, women, men, kids, even maternity wear. Most of what they sell are casual shirts, jeans, t-shirts, and jackets. They also sell bathing suits, sleepwear, shoes, and accessories. Sometimes they have dressy clothing available. I got a really cool black and magenta maxi dress here last year for around $40.00 or less. I got lots of compliments on it-:) I love that they sell clothes in all sizes, even sizes up to XXXL. Not that I need a size that big, it's just nice to see a store sell something bigger than a large sometimes. Everyone deserves to be able to look cute and not be limited to shopping at stores like Lane Bryant or Torrid IMHO. Most of the clothes are affordable and there always seems to be a huge section of clothes on sale, at least at this location. I've gotten a few t-shirts and shirts here for $5.00 in the past. If you can, try coming here during the week. It's usually very crowded on the weekends and evenings. There is a Target, Ross, and Nordstrom Rack by here too so you can get lots of shopping done all in one spot. read more

I've been going to this Old Navy location for years because of the great products and the staff: they are always super friendly, and really go out of their way to help you out or ask if you need help, another size, etc. Their friendly attitude really makes a big difference and the whole shopping experience more enjoyable. They will even order items for you online if they are out, and make everything really easy. The store itself also has a great selection of items- the layout of the store is great and always well put together (never messy). After leaving the job and then going back to shop here, I realized that this place sucks all the life out of you. I mean nothing is in the right spot, no sizes, bad music, and some customer reps that don't really give a shit. I just don't like going to this store in particular. I heard rumors of this store being shut down and actually got excited. If you want old navy clothes, I'd recommend the Oakridge Mall one. Hell even the psycho SF store is better. And then the lady next to me told her she was looking for one too. I told Jen that I would help look so I went around the store looking for the sandal and when I came back she already gave it to the other lady (the last one). So I asked her why she did even though I was the one who asked and she just laughed and walked away. Great customer service...I really hopes she gets fired. Be aware of Jen!
