A table with pottery near the entrance caught my eye right away. I also enjoyed checking out the flavored salts and oils for cooking, room diffusers, wall art, and jewelry. I was surprised to see they carry the wonderful Osea skin care products as I didn't know they were made in California. I ended up buying a ceramic spoon rest, room spray, and a tiny gold "diamond" ring. Their prices were reasonable. The store owner rang up my items and was very friendly and nice. I will definitely be back to shop here again.

I was referred by another thrift store, so I decided to stop by (walk in/no appointments) to sell a few items. No long lines or crowds after 1pm Thursday. I never thought about coming here, but it looks legit and there's more upstairs to browse around. It was more spacious than expected in this old landmark building/house corner. Not bad at all. Staff is welcoming and worked pretty fast going through people's drop off bags of clothes, etc. They sell new items too (clothing/scarf dyes, little gifts, sunglasses, shoes, jewelry, and more). Items on racks are good looking and colorful in some spots. There were plenty of Baggu handbags for sale too. Good variety of colors and styles. They have good looking boots for sure. Prices on racks are on the higher end side/more expensive for thrift store items. Very clean though, like new for most items. It didn't take long before they were finished going through my bags. It's a bit more high end here, so if you have good brands vintage fashion items, this can be a good convenient spot for you.

They mainly sell vintage and modern secondhand clothes, bags, and shoes for women and men, but they also have new pottery from a designer called Familiar. The store is spacious and carefully curated. There is no thrift shop smell and it looks more like a cute boutique than a secondhand store. You can sell your clothes there, too. There are two floors of women's clothes and a separate men's shop across a little courtyard in the back. Most of the customers when I was there were young adults of both sexes. The store was busy on a Saturday in the late afternoon. Fortunately, they have a dedicated parking lot behind the shop with plenty of spaces. The staff welcomed me immediately when I walked in. I was interested in looking at purses and they had quite a few vintage and newer ones from designers like Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, and Dooney & Bourke. I didn't buy any, but enjoyed checking out what they had to offer. I didn't pay too much attention to the clothes, except to notice that women's pant sizes on the second floor only seemed to go up to size 11/12. If they had bigger sizes, I didn't see them. Overall, I was impressed with Black and Brown and would like to go back.

I wandered around for a good hour and a half because I kept finding new things to look at. Not once did Liz pressure me or think it was weird that I was just doing laps around the store looking at everything haha; she was happy to answer all my questions and was super knowledgeable about all the items. I absolutely love everything I purchased and I can't wait to go back and find more treasures. This time my Mom and I hit the highway for a 5 1/2 hour drive to Los Gatos. My Mom is the ultimate cat fanatic, THEREFORE Los Gatos was a place we just had to viist so here we are on a serious mission to hunt down some PURR-FECT vintage cat treasures for her collection. We asked a few people at our hotel for local thrifts stores and a staff member recommended Happy Dragon Thrift Shop. This is a beautifully curated store located in the heart of town. The store is full of treasures ready to be rehomed. Happy Dragon was founded in 1958 supported by many volunteers. The store manager Mr. Robb is absolutely a delight. A humble person with a heart of GOLD. As a thrifter, finding good prices is important to me, but please remember that every thrift store prices items differently. Please do not let high price tags ruin your hunt, always take your time to enjoy the hunt. Your perfect find will show up at the perfect price For me on this trip I found: 1) Two adorable cat plant pots 2) A few Coca-Cola Americana style items 3) A a beautiful Waverly Arch Amerith hand held mirror dating back to 1920 (paid under $10.00 for it) There are amazing treasures waiting to be discovered here. NOTE while a few select items might be priced above market value, if you find something you truly love, then the price is right for you regardless of the market. It's very cute and very clean, and doesn't seem like a thrift shop at all. The young woman working there was friendly and helpful. I saw lots of little things I wanted to buy, like the tiniest Labubu I've ever seen, but didn't end up purchasing anything. Most of the clothes and accessories for females seemed targeted toward young people, but I'm glad I stopped in and checked out all of their cute loot. Be sure to bring change for the metered parking or plan to use your credit card.

They have…read morea communal 'drink cart' right out in the open where customers are expected to leave open beverage containers. Anyone walking by has total access to them, which is a major food safety and tampering hazard. When I walked in with my water (which I medically need on hand for my medication) an employee aggressively bee-lined right toward me to demand I put it on the sketchy cart. When I explained I had a health requirement, she backed off, but the whole encounter was unpleasant. Management really needs to rethink leaving open customer drinks unattended in a public area, and staff should be trained on how to handle guests with medical needs respectfully instead of immediately cornering them. I wanted to purchase some earrings today, but because of the uncomfortable experience, I wanted to get out of there in a hurry. They lost a sale today.

If you like vintage smalls, this is the place for you. They have lots of costume and sterling silver jewelry, glassware, ceramics, linens, toys, and just random treasures. The shop is so packed I had to go around twice to make sure I didn't miss anything. The two ladies working there this afternoon were friendly and helpful. They cheerfully unlocked the glass cabinets when I wanted to see something and there was never any pressure to buy. I learned the shop has been there for 44 years. I really wanted to support this small local business, so I bought a green Buddha statue for a shelf at home that needed refreshing. I'm happy with my purchase and I hope this shop is around for many more years.

Went here to sell clothes and they offered me $25 for a IKEA bag full of new and vintage items. I'd…read morego elsewhere to sell. I asked if they price based on a percentage of the price they're selling it for and they price base on "brand and how long it would be on shelves". Not a fan of this method at all. Didn't really seem like they knew their vintage brands. I'd also go elsewhere to buy vintage. It seems like stuff you'd find leftover at a thrift store which makes sense cus they told me they take donations. If it isn't gross, it looks like they just put whatever out. Doesn't seem to have standards on type of clothes out. They do have some "new" things. There are bulk items in different sizes but it seems like whoever does the buying for the store is buying the cheapest quality things. Like Shien quality. They also sell it for cheap so I guess there's that. If you're looking for cheaply made clothes for cheap and things people couldn't sell at other places that would offer them more cash, this is your place! Really unfortunate cus it has so much potential being attached to the record store. I will say the customer service was great and they went through my things fast. I felt bad I decided to not sell because they were so nice. Hopefully they turn it around!
