I wanted to love this spot, but I was shocked by the unsanitary setup near the entrance. They have a communal 'drink cart' right out in the open where customers are expected to leave open beverage containers. Anyone walking by has total access to them, which is a major food safety and tampering hazard. When I walked in with my water (which I medically need on hand for my medication) an employee aggressively bee-lined right toward me to demand I put it on the sketchy cart. When I explained I had a health requirement, she backed off, but the whole encounter was unpleasant. Management really needs to rethink leaving open customer drinks unattended in a public area, and staff should be trained on how to handle guests with medical needs respectfully instead of immediately cornering them. I wanted to purchase some earrings today, but because of the uncomfortable experience, I wanted to get out of there in a hurry. They lost a sale today. read more

I am in LOVE with this cute boutique! From knick knacks, to the beautiful clothes, to finding the perfect gift, Therapy seems to have it all! The cherry on top is the excellent customer service. I recently attended a black tie event and needed a dress appropriate for the occasion. One of the associates, Morgan in particular, was extremely supportive with this quest. From providing different options, making recommendations and helping me find the correct size, she was a gem! I've since attended the event and absolutely in love with the dress I chose. Retail THEARPY?! Yes PLEASE. Not gonna lie, my favorite thing to do is buy people things! I'm THAT FRIEND that comes back from a random adventure, work trip, or a vaycay and I got something to give you. Gift giving is probably my love language because my heart flutters when I see a friend's PRICELESS reaction on their faces when they open up what I found them. I put a lot of care and effort into gifts and the Therapy Store is a cornerstone to giving lots of fun trinkets and cool things. I come here probably a few times a month to purchase gifts for people. I love the collection of books they put out, and as a fellow book collector (or book reader? I dunno reading and collecting books is two difrrent hobbies for me ahahahaha). Great customer service! I bought a bag at the Mountain View location and when I adjusted the strap it had a little cut where the buckle was. I went back the same day to exchange it but they didn't have anymore in stock. The lady who helped me said she can call the Campbell store to check if they have it. They did have it and they already set it aside for me. She told me to keep the bag and exchange it at the Campbell location. Campbell location also called me to let me know that they had it ready for me. When I came to pick up a few days later, the lady at the front had it handy and it was just an easy exchange. I've always had friendly encounters with either location and I love browsing their shops! read more

I always love going in the different therapy stores. They always have cute, funny eclectic things that are perfect for anyone's birthday or present. They have a handful of local items and unique things that you can't find a regular stores, maybe via Amazon, since everything's there, but then it doesn't sound as unique. I love their clothes in the back of the store also fairy boutique style, although they're on the rather expensive side. They have really nice bralettes and if you can catch them on sale. This is a cool and quirky gift shop in downtown Campbell, so if you're familiar you know the surrounding area has a good vibe, mostly street parking, and a lot of eateries nearby. In fact, I often come here just to look around while waiting for food from one of the nearby restaurants. Yes it's a store (a small chain actually that started in SF), but I consider it more an attraction in the south bay, a place you gotta visit to have the experience. They sell such unique items that are entertaining, funny, and/or conversation starters. So I always have a fun time when I come here. It caters to all ages, from babies to adults. They have all kinds of things, including clothes, candles, electronic accessories, pet items, games, toys, kitchenware, and books. But it's not the typical stuff you would find at Target; the Therapy Store has clever and hilarious quotes and bold comments on their different items, or quirky presentation of items, ie. socks shaped like sushi that could be given as a gift.. and not a lot of these things can easily be found elsewhere. Then again, even if you could find something here on Amazon, you'd still miss the entertainment aspect of coming here and exploring everything in person. I've purchased many items from the Therapy Store in Campbell over time -- gifts for friends, nephews, nieces, and even for myself. The staff is friendly and attentive, and is great at providing recommendations for gift-giving. This cute little boutique is definitely worth checking out. read more

My favorite store in the San Jose area. Very specialized like a museum gift shop, it's kind of like Urban Outfitters with less outfits, like a novelty store without the embarrassing bachelorette section, mature like an Anthropologie without the headache-inducing overpowering blowers of perfume. It's a true "gift" shop, full of stuff like collapsible straws, funny luggage tags, or wacky socks, the kind of stuff you might be more likely to buy for someone else. It's knick-knacky but well-organized, with sections covering travel, outdoors, cooking, cosmetics, candles, key chains, hats, jewelry, a clothes, lots of books (most of which are light and whimsical, silly, pop-cultured or inspiration books of reference, lists, etc.), and, unless my hands are freakishly mammoth, baby stuff. Bonus: a photo booth, it's in beautiful downtown Campbell, and it sells my favorite scent MISTRAL, which I lovingly call Mistrial. read more

Spacious and adorable boutique stuffed full of delightful knick-knacks, gift items, jewelry and a small selection of clothing and shoes for men and women. Super fun to just wander around for an hour and have a laugh at some of the treasures you can find and if you need a unique gift (humorous or not) this is a great place to find one. They're also the only store in the area, that I know of, that carries the fabulously irreverent socks and kitchen items from Blue Q. A favorite of mine. This is such a cute store with loads of fun and versatile gifts for everyone, and all of the gifts and items are really lovely quality, everyone would be really thrilled to receive a gift from this store. They have baby clothes and books, loads of really nice quality candles from PF Candles, Voluspa and local brands. I stumbled upon this place this past Sunday because I needed to stop by the Recycle Bookstore to get Tess her book. There was a farmers' market but I did not want to walk around because I know that if I do, I will most likely buy something; yes, I have no self control. Heck, I ate like a million Reese' peanut butter cups last night *humiliated face* Anyhow.. after purchasing the book for my daughter, I had time to spare since I was supposed to meet Cristal C. at Habit Grill at 1 o'clock. It was a little after 10:45am. I walked by a gelato place (Butterfly) and almost bought myself gelato for breakfast but after looking at the price and remembering that I shouldn't be eating 400-500 calories prior to lunch, I walked out *sad face this time* I remember the thread posted by our CM, Abby on boutique stores / holiday shopping as soon as I saw this place. I walked in and was immediately greeted by trinkets that I would like to buy for myself- coffee mugs, dinner placemats, cookbooks, clocks, and lots of other random and somewhat useless stuff but still, I would like to have it! I browsed and browsed but walked out empty-handed since I know I should not be spending, at least not last weekend but I will return. The gift cards and the usual gifts from corporate chains are getting old... a gift is something that comes from the heart regardless of its value (and I must say that it is a little on the pricey side) but to get something unique, different, and unlike the usual then check this place out. read more

*Call First!* Great little store, unique funny gifts, pretty tchotchke stuff, fun vibe. Just call first - they close the whole store down between business hours for "meal breaks" but don't post them anywhere. You find out when you get to the store and it's locked up for an hour! All fine, employees have to eat, but they should post it on their website. I ended up spending $300 at another store because this one was closed and I don't live nearby. I would gladly have come earlier if I'd known the hours. read more

I was in today browsing for Christmas presents. SO MUCH great stuff in there at various price points. While browsing I had a "woke Karen" moment where I saw a ridiculous book inspired by Ben Franklin. Aside from its laughable title, while referencing a slave owner and child rapist- I decided to say something. And the clerk just blew me away. She shared that she wasn't aware and wanted to learn more and that she would set it aside and contact the seller. She was so kind and gracious to me during a challenging moment. My go to location was the store in Mountain View but after moving to Willow Glen, I am delighted to find this store which is way bigger and has the same charm of the one in MV. I love that the range of products offered cater to all age groups and being a new mommy I am impressed by the select baby items they have here. Quirky onesies, and plan toys for our little one. Hobo purses for me and a good collection of Nixon for the man. I love that they carry several bay area specific brands like Nixon and naturally conscious products like plan toys which are not only great buys for self but also as gifts. Almost half my wardrobe are dresses from Therapy and I can only see myself shopping here more! Also knowing that they donate 1% of their sales to local NGOs make me happy about supporting a local community centric business. read more

My husband and I LOVE THIS STORE. Whenever we're in downtown Campbell, we always find ourselves drawn through the doors of Therapy. Back in 2016, we inherited a 20-year-old dog who couldn't be left by himself for very long because he was deaf, nearly blind, and on a pretty strict medication regimen. We loved him very much, but during the 10 months he lived with us, we also felt very isolated. One night, after dining at a nearby restaurant with a dog-friendly patio, my husband stood outside Therapy with our pup so I could go in and do a bit of poking around. However, as soon as a sales associate walked by the front door and saw them, she invited them in, and made us feel so welcome. Prior to that night, we had always been fans of Therapy's product - we would always end up leaving with a new puzzle, face mask, jewelry, sticker, or gift - and the customer service has always been exceptional. But, on this night, we became forever customers. Small a gesture as it may seem to some, we will never, EVER forget that kindness. read more

This was my first time ever coming in and I will DEFINITLEY be back!! Everything in the store is adorable, but what made the experience the MOST enjoyable were the employees Ivy and Adriana. They were both so sweet and professional, took the time to actually talk with me and help me find things. They both went above and beyond your average customer service experience! We are shopping for a trip to Mexico with the family, and she loves and really wanted to come here. I'm quite thankful for it (and I'm the guy) So we were looking mostly for dresses and beach outfits and went in knowing just that, but as for designs, we were open to suggestions. I picked some out for her, and she got a few herself to try on. At some point, we met Camille (sorry if I spelt it wrong [Chamille]). She was incredibly nice and patient with us as we had a whole slew of things. At some point, she even brought some recommendation that she thought would look nice on her, and they did! Form fitting tops, sexy flowy dresses, even some undergarments to accompany the dresses that added a nice little taste. She was absolutely spectacular! For about $200 she got about 5 beautiful outfits! Thanks Camille! Around the store itself, there is some nice modern-vintage stuff. A men section with trousers and shirts, along with caps and other miscellaneous accessories. They also have a few things to decorate your home with. Overall; for for the price, everything was spectacular: the service, the quality of stuff and the amount of stuff too! We'll be back! read more

Therapy literally puts the therapy in shopping therapy. Not only does it fulfill your need for clothes, but it also satisfies your need for your daily dose of punny quirkiness! There are racks of clothes in the back with designers such as Free People and it should be noted that since this is a boutique, the sizes will be limited. Aside from the clothes, they have fun doo dads and knick knacks for gifts, things for around the house, etc. Swell bottles are also sold here. Succulents, pins, gorgeous jewelry, Nixon watches, wacky socks, funny magnets, journals, italian leather bags, literally you need it, you name it, and it's here. Just imagine Anthropology + the fun section in Urban Outfitters, mix in some local artist work and you get Therapy! It's a smaller company, but they have about 11+ (and growing) spread throughout the Bay, so no matter where you are you can get in your (shopping) Therapy! If you do stop in, look for Kristi! Wow. So, it took months to find the opportunity to return to this place and do another once-over as promised. It looks like the made ALOT of adjustments. I'm adding two stars from my original 2 star rating for taking the initiative to contact a dissatisfied customer and improving the clutter. It looks much more organized, although I feel overwhelmed with the merchandising of the clothes-like wayyy too much to take all at once. My companion and I were greeted and assisted by the sales associates. They had a bunch of really cute hats, and cute random houseware trinkets. Got a fast response from the employee and I am willing to return to give it another shot. : "I do plan on returning to a store that hires people who are proactive in improving their customer service and reacting POSITIVELY to criticism!" Haven't yet. Will update soon. Ew. Didn't really like this place. The Mountain View location is a pearl in an oyster compared to this dump. I spent a good 15 minutes in this store and wasn't even greeted or acknowledged at all! I was the only person in the store, and I'm pretty sure I took off my invisibility cloak prior to entering. I even made my way to the counter to check out the accessories (nothing worth looking at), to face the associate busy texting her life away. The red head? Brunette?She looked at me, then texted away. What a snot. Aside from the snooty associate (the asian one actually opened the door for me-on her break. Good for her), everything was just overwhelming. Even with the color coded mess of racks, it just was an eyesore. I felt like I was in a bad version of Ross sans clothes on the floor. Maybe if there's space upstairs, they'll consider opening it up to keep customers from suffocating? And yes, it's like Urban Outfitters-with a more boutiquey feel. They even carry Free People (owned by UO). Beware though... some of the brands they carry seem kind of off to me. Shop at your risk! read more

I love shopping in here. It's a cute boutique and unlike other boutiques where everything costs way too much, this place has a lot of affordable clothing! The selection is great and the nice thing about buying something in here is not everyone will have it. The clothes range from colorful to neutral and if you need to pull together an outfit, they've got shoes, handbags, and accessories as well. I have had problems in the past with sizing since they only order a few in each size but they have no problem having stuff transferred from another store so that you can try it on. The sales associates are always friendly, suggestive and attentive. And if it's home stuff you want, they have candles, little notepads, love seats, throw pillows, decor and artsy things you can put on coffee tables.
