I just love this Old Navy cause you can run in and run out... no mall involved. I found myself driving all the way over here instead of going to the new Valley Fair location. I am still a fan of the original ON lay out and it hasnt changed at this location... yet. Hopefully they dont remodel this store anytime soon. Went to return some stuff today and had no issues, except finding more stuff to buy. This Old Navy isn't really picked through all that much, so there are usually bargains to be had. I picked up this coat today and already have had 3 compliments on it. The line closest to the entrance of the mall can be long sometimes, but just go up to the front registers, where it's not so bad. Don't get me wrong. I love Old Navy. I have the credit card and I buy a lot of my kids clothing from their stores. Recently, I went to Old Navy at Westgate to exchange some boxers I bought for my husband. The size was too large, so I asked if I could exchange it for something else. The cashier said they ran out of the specific boxers, so I asked if I could exchange it for another type. The problem? I used a Groupon in the purchase. The boxers were $8. I had PAID $4 for the boxers and used $4 in Groupon value for the rest. As you know with Groupon, you pay $10 for $20 of value. So basically, I paid out $6 for the boxers ($4 in cash and $2 for the price of the groupon and got the extra $2 in value for free). The cashier was polite and she said that I can only get the $4 back. So I asked if I just did an exchange, can I get $6 in exchange value and just buy another pair. She said no. I asked for the manager, and the manager, Joanna (?), rudely says "We can only give you the $4 back per set. And by the way, I would not buy Groupons. They have a lot of fine print and restrictions. We have a lot of problems with them." Um, okay, so basically, you are saying that I lose part of the money I spent, and because you cannot handle the exchange, you are blaming me for using a Groupon. I love Old Navy, but honestly, their staff sometimes needs training in being polite even if they cannot help you. I understand that sometimes the systems are restrictive with regards to coupons and such, but no need to be rude and dismissive about it. read more

I always go to this store to get in and out and avoid any mall rush at some of the other locations. This one always has my sizes and many others and seems well stocked most of the time. The line here can get kind of long since they always have some kind of deal going on, but it usually doesn't take too long to get through the line. Great Value, Great Products, Great Staff. We have been very happy with the product at Old Navy, we find something for everybody in our house here. We have 5 boys and we do not have any problems with the shirts and pants that we do get at Old Navy. We do enjoy the selection and value we can find at Old Navy, but we are more impressed with this Old Navy than others, this Old Navy store at Westgate Mall is clean and well maintained. This is my favorite location to shop at -- the store is always clean and I always find what I'm looking for. And who doesn't love their prices!? I love Old Navy for their clearance section. Those prices can really really go down! Old Navy is great for standard clothing. Your standard white collared shirt, or tank tops in all different shades. If you looked at my closet, you wouldn't find much Old Navy in it, largely because the times that I do shop there, it's been for other folks. The Campbell store is large, well laid-out and the service there from folks at the registers and on the floor is usually pretty good. I've had to go there for emergency pants (after a terrible pocket-ripping experience trying to move a Cray-1 with only a pallet jack and a dream) and I got a pair right quick, got rung up fast, and they allowed me to change into them after I'd paid right in the store. Luv Old Navy jeans but I find this location to most often be low on sizes & color selection compared to some of the other larger Old Navy stores. I usually find this location to be more quiet & less hectic. Bonus on sensitive ears like mind... no blaring music during the week day! No fuss, no muss returned my 4 pair of jeans I ordered online. Only thing is that they didn't have my size so I wasn't able to exchange them for the correct size. Refund was easily done though I would have preferred the correct sized jeans but they didn't have them. read more

the closest old navy to me, so i frequent time to time, especially when my friend hooks me up with the friends and family discount. only thing i gripe about old navy is their sizes, they run pretty large. which means a lot of the smaller sizes they do not have, grr. luckily, last night i needed shorts, and they were all on clearance as theyre gearing up for fall items. i bought a pair of black shorts and capris for $18 total after the 30% off. holler! all their clothers are super cheap, especially when on sale/clearance. their flip flops have gotten a lot comfier too. and their rockstar jeggings are THE BEST! oh one more gripe, the hangers the pants come on...so annoying to put back on! but the workers are all friendly and helpful. read more

Review for Old Navy Maternity section: The concept of maternity clothes is seeeeeeriously starting to annoy me. The fact that there are 'boutiques' now that feature 'Seven for All Mankind' Jeans and "Juicy Couture" sweatsuits for the preggo set for $100++ is just a travesty I shall not speak further of. Sure, the "Japanese Weekend" jeans are comfy and stylin'. I have a few pairs... but are they really worth the $$$? (They start at $98 and up) Methinks not. My finds at the Old Navy Maternity Clearance rack Black dress: comfy, roomy, comfy. $5.99 (orig $24.99) Shirtdress: comfy, roomy comfy: $7.99 (orig $29.99) I've noticed that only a few of the Old Navy shops carry Maternity Wear. A shame, actually. (Colma/Daly city store has no Maternity, for example.) Considering the fact that 98% of these maternity clothes will end up in a big bag for a girlfriend to take away once the bundle has arrived, I am happy to report that this Old Navy has the goods for the soon to be moms like me. read more

I always walk through here after browsing B&N and Pac Sun, but never buy anything, until yesterday. I picked up a sweet new 1/4 zip workout pullover and a cheap hoody. The hoodies are thin, but still feel pretty stout with a good zipper. I love the pullover, too. I worked out in it today, and it's a perfect top layer. I really like their new active line. Sweats, workout pants and shorts, shirts and pullovers that wick sweat and are cheap enough to get sweaty and grimey. I haven't tried any of their other products, like their jeans or khakis, but now that I've seen the quality of their workout gear, I might give something else a shot. Came here today looking for some workout clothes. Store wasn't busy at all. There seemed to be a lot of employees around, none of which acknowledged me when they walked by. They have a lot of good sales going on but if you look at the photo I posted, you'll see that the sale definitely isn't worth going out of your way for. The store was dirty and so were the clothes. A lot of tops and bras had deodorant stains on them. I know this could be hard to take care of but if an associate noticed a garment that is covered (like the bra in the photo) grab a wet cloth and try to get the stain out! Or take it off the shelf! The bra on the right had god knows what on it. It wasn't a stain. You could pick it off. Ugh so gross. such a turn off. I walked up to two employees just kinda hanging out. No one else was around. They did not care I was just standing there. They just continued to talk. So I walked away. I didn't know it was social hour. I found a couple of items that were clean and wanted to buy. There were two checkers and I walked up to a line with two people. The lady in front of me put her stuff down and left which made me think she was waiting a while. Then it started feeling like the lady now in front of me and myself were waiting for quite some time. I watched three associates come within 10 feet from the registers. One was strutting around like he was in charge. However, no one let us know we'd be helped soon nor were we acknowledged. If that guy in the glasses, black nikes, and a gray graphic T, who worked on 9/6 around 6pm, was in charge, he should have gotten behind a register and took care of the line. I was in the store at 8:30 PM. I made it in exchange for children shoes and brought them home. I had a coupon at home and wanted to return to purchase a $50 vest. I showed up at 9:03 PM. I was stopped as I was trying to enter by an employee named Nathan. Nathan refuse to allow me to go in. I told him fine it was closing I just wanted to check the price on the scanner to see if the item was on sale. He refused to allow me to go in. There were at least 15 people in line to check out. When I pointed this out he continued to refuse to allow me access to the one item at the very front of the store that I wanted to check the price of. I told him I would be 30 seconds no longer. He told me know. This is the type of customer service that will drive me away from a company forever. I do not want anything to do with this Old Navy that is literally within 100 yards of my apartment. I will not go back. I will tell everyone I know not to go back. I made an extra effort to go over just to purchase an item from them. And they didn't care. It's apparent that Old Navy is independently wealthy and does not need our money. If that's the way they treat people that want to spend money, can you imagine what it's like for people who are just browsing. I'm very tired of people not caring about those who come in to spend money in their establishment. Nathan, hats off to you. You are the a pitta me of what irritates the heck out of me. Apparently your desire to get out by 905 was more important than allowing someone to check a price that you could've easily watched me do. I wanted to go 15 feet inside the door. Don't get me wrong I love coming shopping to this old navy it's the one I always come to but today I had the worst experience EVER that made me feel uncomfortable. When I went to pay the cashier was being rude extremely rude I've never had that experience before at this old navy. It all started when she asked me if I wanted to donate I told her no she started laughing I just ignored it then after she asked me if I had a credit card with them I also replied no then she made a rude comment saying " so it's no for ever answer I'm asking" then laughed again I just felt so bad I just wanted to pay and leave I was so angry I just stayed quiet didn't want to be rude to top it off while she was scanning my items she was tossing them in the bag with anger can't for get about the hanger she was just tossing them into the bin too. I don't know if she was having a bad day or not but I don't think that's right for her to be rude like that. I really think they should have a talk to that lady to not be rude to people. I don't know how to rate this store using the Yelp stars. The customer service is 1-2 stars and the deals are 4-5 stars. I went to ask the cashier for a price check and she try to tell me they had a price checker on the other side. How would I have known that? I asked if she was going to check for me and she had the nerve to say "this is why we have a price checker" while she scanned my items. I went to the westgate location... today June 11, 10:15 am ... I had some time to kill so I thought I would pop in ... the store it self was clean and organized.... great ... but the sales associates were horrible ... I found two pairs of shoes (mens) one was priced the other was not .. so I stood in line.. one cashier and no else in the front of the store... finally I saw a sales associate walking around with 9 of us standing in line.. for the one cashier... I called him over to ask about the shoes that was not marked or tagged... for the price... with out care he stated the price checker machine... was right in front of me.. he was about to walk away... when I told him the was no tag.... he made a face... such as I was a bother... he went to the register to check the price... found the price and handed me back the shoe and told me the price... and immediately turn way... before I could ask him for a tag so that the over worked casher can scan. ... I wait a bit longer before I finally gave up ... I returned 20 mins later .. for find the line grew to 14 people .. and a second cashier .. the same tall gentlemen seemed like a lead.. was walking around with no worries or concerns for his customer... when I got to the cashier ... she as well seemed not to enjoy her job... no smile no really interactions other than "do you need a bag"..... I am sure she was over worked.. but no personality... at all ... finally I got out of there after 11:20 when more staff appeared... so not a great place to go to ... Stopped by Old Navy today because I just so happened to be in the plaza that I usually don't ever go to. Decided to purchase a denim jacket and was offered by the cashier lady a membership so I could get a certain percent off my purchase today. I thought why not, so I signed up for the membership. However when it was all said and done, I realized that I had actually signed up for an Old Navy credit card. Yes, I made a mistake and yes, it was stupid. However the lady was not being clear at all about what it is I was signing up for and I feel like she was taking advantage of me because of my young age. It seemed extremely inappropriate for her to be pushing something on a customer that she herself did not know much about, and was not being clear about. This was the worst experience I ever had in a retail environment, I came to purchase some clothes to be more a specific some jeans, they were at advertise online at one price , after I paid I noticed that the price of the jeans were very high, almost double of what that advertise them. I return to the store to talk to a manager and showed him the prices that they advertised online, also pointed that there were no indication that The item I purchased were selected items or that the price was online price only. I told the manager and he stated that they were not able to override the price and on he would get in trouble if he did it. That whatever price was advertised online was online only. I think this is ridiculous and also a big lie specially when there is nothing in their website stating anything about on line price only. I drove all the way to this location just to find out there it's a scam. After that I decided to call customer service 800 number they stated that its was a federal law and they could not match the online price, hahahaha for real ???? Show me that federal law, if that federal law exist how is it possible that sear , Bestbuy to mention example they don't have a problem doing it? Again big lies. The prices were different than the prices in store and even if there were the same company not even attempt to make the customer happy. This is why retail environment companies are going down and people this days prefer to purchase online, look at Bebe or BCBG, to mention some . I wish some one upper Managment would read this and notice what's scaring the customers, don't bring customer with fake online advertisement, at least make it clear on the site that the online prices are exclusively online. I wouldn't be writing about this or even call the customer service, but in this case even the manager wasn't able to show me where in the website was clearly makes ONLINE ONLY. We had a really good experience at this Old Navy store! We have one closer to where we live, but happen to be in the area. They seemed to have more of a selection here as well as more helpful and friendly workers! There were a couple of shirts we couldn't find in the size we were looking for and Nihada was super nice and took the time to call more than one other store and help us locate what we were looking for at a different store.
