I visited 7-8 different suit stores in search of the perfect color for my wedding suit. Franco Uomo was my last hope, as I was struggling to find the fabric I wanted in a color other than cotton--something every other store insisted was my only option. If Franco Uomo didn't work out, I would have had to completely change my wedding vision. Thankfully, Franco Uomo exceeded my expectations! When I walked in, I asked for fabric in a Dusty Rose shade. After months of searching, I had learned just how many variations of a single color exist. They showed me their fabric options in a swatch booklet, but unfortunately, nothing quite matched my vision. That's when they suggested I use Pantone to identify the exact color and provide them with the color code. I followed their advice, and within six weeks of providing the color code, they returned with swatches sourced from around the globe. To my surprise and delight, they found the exact color in the fabric I wanted! With the hardest part behind us, customizing the suit and tailoring it to perfection was seamless. I was helped by Yosef, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Even though some of my choices (like insisting that I would be able to reuse this suit for both weddings and funerals) went against some of some usual conventions, he knew exactly how to balance getting me the functionality I wanted and making the suit look good. While the staff was knowledgeable and explained everything well, I was quite surprised by the non-refundable $250 consultation fee. Yosef was an incredible salesman and went out of his way to make sure I got the suit I wanted. I really wanted a green suit, but was getting pretty gun-shy when it finally came to buying one. Yosef showed me how good it could look, and had great recommendations for buttons, linings, and other accessories throughout the whole process that made the outfit perfect. I had opted for a suit because I wanted to be able to wear it again in the future, and found out that Franco Uomo has an awesome service where they sew false lapels onto the suit to give it more of a tuxedo look, that can then be seamlessly removed. Went here for my wedding suit, could not have been happier with the result. If you have enough money to buy a suit here do so. I walked in thinking I was going to spend around 1000 for a suit but for a full custom suit it starts at 2500. With all the additions it ended up being a lot more than that. That being said, it isn't cheap but you're paying for superior quality that will last a lifetime. The service here is amazing, Ike and his partner are master craftsman that make you feel and look like a king. I'm tall with a skinny/athletic build so it can be hard to find something that fits well, and I have never had any clothes I've ever worn fit me the way this suit did. 10/10 highly recommend. read more

He treats his customers in a condescending manner and if you decide to not buy from him he INSULTS you as you walk out, even though we were nothing but courteous with him. He was being straight up racist and everytime we picked a coat to try on he'd go "oh this is too small, it's an "Asian fit". He just wanted to sell the one he wanted to sell! Came here after searching the entirety of valley fair at the behest of my girlfriend for me to look for the "most crisp" shirt I could find (I'm going to propose to her in it) and after stopping by numerous high end clothing stores in valley fair, Franco Uomo was head and shoulders above the rest. They knew exactly what I was looking for and what made me look good. He guessed my size perfectly just by looking at me and mentioned the exact alterations needed to make me look perfect. No other store came close and every other store made me look like an intern on their first day of work. This wasn't just a bespoke suit, it was a bespoke experience! I needed a beautiful new suit for my wedding, and had admired the clothes of this store (only through the window - I had never been inside). The moment we walked in, we were greeted by Ike, who took fantastic care of us. I will be honest, it took me a while to digest the price of a custom suit. The all-inclusive pricing model (i.e. one price for any suit, regardless of the fabric - the only extra cost would be if you wanted to add a waistcoat, making it a three-piece suit) that Ike quoted was (a) much higher than was in my "suit budget", and (b) considerably more than I had ever paid for a garment in my life. So, after my visit, feeling like Franco Uomo was out of my price range, I shopped around at several other places (and even online services for custom suits), and I felt like I could save a lot of money by going someplace else. But I kept mentally returning to the beautiful suits I had seen at Franco Uomo. The range of customization available there - not to mention the impeccable service - caused us to realize that these were the people we wanted to create my suit. I wanted Franco Uomo. So it brought me back in to talk with Ike and David. I was confident that I could work out some kind of special price - negotiate some kind of discount with them. Surely that single price was a starting point, and perhaps up for negotiation? I attempted to start this line of dialogue, but Ike deftly and smoothly waved this off - I was very impressed with the skills of his salesmanship; extremely gracious and kind. But he made it clear that the price was the price. They know they have a premium product with premium service, and - naturally - you pay a premium for that. The price is the price. But I squared it in my mind like this: the cost is in a similar ballpark to what my wife paid for her wedding dress. Why shouldn't I pamper myself similarly? The fact that I'd be able to wear my beautiful, custom suit for many years after the wedding was an added bonus. Once I mentally committed to the decision, the process began. David and Ike quickly went to work, nimbly measuring everything that was needed. It was a comprehensive process, taking more than an hour. But I came away feeling like I was in tremendously good hands. My future wife and I settled on a gorgeous light grey fabric. We selected a custom lining, chose options for stitching, lapels, cuffs, you name it. This is a truly custom process - designed for your taste. The hardest part was waiting for the suit to be created! That process takes more than a month (closer to two months), but once it arrived it was gorgeous! How wonderful it is to slip into a garment that is custom-made for you. It fit like a glove! After I tried on the suit during the fitting, Ike and David examined me carefully - there were a couple of minor fit issues that they identified (they wanted to make small adjustments to the trouser cuffs and the length of the sleeves of the jacket) - their attention to detail is impeccable, and they wanted my suit to be perfect.
