Current hours (8/1/25): Friday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM Sunday: 9:30 AM - 9:30 PM The Good: *Discounted clothes and shoes *Small selection of toys *Kitchen stuff *Small selection of food and drinks *Prices seem very reasonable from what I could tell. The Meh: *Currently only open three days a week, per the website. I'm sure this will change as they're still in a soft opening mode. *Not the biggest store The Ugly: *The Plant is not the safest place with lots of low-lifes and crackheads milling about. Basically, lock your car and make sure no valuables are in sight. Conclusion: Interesting place to check out occasionally, as the stock is always changing.

I have to say, it's a nice change of pace. Lately, I've started popping in here before I hit up Target, and I've found some surprising stuff. I actually found a doorknob here that Home Depot had for like 3X, and a new hose for the house. My pre-teen daughter has even come around on the clothes, which is a miracle in itself, and she's super excited about the beauty section. My only complaint is that I found a new shirt here for the exact same price as a used one at the thrift store, which felt like a complete foul on my part! But other than that, it's a solid place. They have tons of clothes and a good selection of household items. I hope they stay because they seem new and busy right now, so fingers crossed!

Most items are $1.75 if there isn't a price on it. It's clean and I like how the aisles are not too cramped for people to walk through compared to other locations. But once you step inside the store, you see that it's in a very deep and narrow space, so it's a bit deceiving. They had a lot of Halloween and fall decorations which I enjoyed browsing through. There was a bit of a long line to pay for your items. I think they needed extra help at the registers. I found a small cute Halloween pumpkin with a black kitten on the top of it, to place on my fireplace mantle. It's small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. It's was $2.25, which wasn't too bad of a deal.

It has stationary, make up, toys, collectibles from mascots like Pokémon, Sanrio and other anime. It's a well clean and popular store that attracts all audiences. I came in to find some blind boxes but this location didn't have any. The staff were nice and easy to talk to. You can either pay with a live person or scan on their machine for easy self check out.

However, there were a few issues on checkout. I was charged for the lower of two prices on a bunch of canned soup I bought. That was good. But that mostly got wiped out by being charged sales tax on them all. Canned soup is not taxable in California. That should be corrected. Also, the receipt that got printed only shows the total. To get an itemized receipt you have to do "Email Receipt" on the checkout screen. Although it will just show prices since they are typing in the value on a white price label, not scanning a bar code. One $11.99 item got rung up at $12.99. But only 2 of 3 items I got from the refrigerated area were charged to make up for that. The items I got from the fridge did not have the price stickers. Not sure if there had been any prices on the shelf. Anyway, might wanna check your emailed receipt before leaving the parking lot.

I had a hard time taking it all in because I was so overwhelmed. One of the sections I spent some time checking out was the gourmet snacks. I saw lots of scrumptious looking food, like cookie packages with half shortbread clotted cream cookies and half gingerbread with dark chocolate pieces. They also had lots of different types of pasta, coffee, tea, candy, chips, cocktail mixes, and more. I didn't buy anything because I'm trying to cut back on snacks, but I'm still thinking about the shortbread/gingerbread cookies days later. Overall the store was neat and tidy despite the crowded shelves, and the line to checkout was pretty short. In addition to gourmet snacks, the home goods section offers decorative items for the kitchen, garden, and home, as well as necessities like pots & pans, serving dishes, drink-ware, towels, etc. I didn't buy any items, but did make note of some nice home decor I might want to go back for (as well as those cookies).
