I'd prefer to support a small business but Paid $50 for a dozen bagels... you decide ‍

Amazing bagels, deliciously roasted and toasted cheddar jalapeño and sesame. Iced latte just alright. Homey bagel shop vibe very comfortable

I recently got a job around this area and was asked if I would like to have bagels brought back. I put in my order for an everything bagel, toasted with cream cheese. I received a poppy seed bagel toasted with cream cheese. As for the flavor of the food, I would describe it as an average bagel. A couple of us in our group said they had slightly upset stomachs after eating the bagels and cream cheese, I didn't have that issue as much. I would like to give them another chance as this was my 1st time trying out this spot, but I'll likely check out other local shops before returning.

Arrive early- so delicious they sell out daily! Hee

This parking lot used to be pretty dead, but now it seems a little more busier. I am so happy that this donut shop made it through the pandemic, and I love their moist yet outside crispy croissants!!! Pretty simple and easy decor of menu/pictures with numbered breakfast sandwiches along with some beautiful paintings from Asia. Hee looking around at their delicious pictures always makes me hungry! They also have Boba and smoothies!

Lots of fresh food options.

Wow this place must have new management bc they have the best service I've seen in the local area as per bagel sandwiches. They serve fresh donuts and bagel sandwiches and they even gave me a free donut to go! Check this place out. They also have Coffees and Bobas! I did get Soy Cappuccino, the Turkey club, and the hot dog bagels. Very tasty !

This is the bagel that I was charged three dollars more for for extra cream cheese.

Today is my second day in a row coming to this donut/bagel shop. I ordered a bagel yesterday that had the thinest layer of cream cheese I've ever seen on a bagel as you could see the entire bagel through the cream cheese. They did a very light skim coat yesterday so today wanting more cream cheese I asked for the same bagel with extra cream cheese. They charge me $6.50 for one bagel and at most bagel shops I would get double the cream cheese that they gave me when I ordered extra cream cheese very disappointing as I could've bought a whole tub of cream cheese from the refrigerator And the bagel for less price.

A bagel with inadequate cream cheese to bagel ratio.
Liana M.

I have been coming to the bagel shop for the last 5 years. The first 4 years I would say this place was 5 stars. Before coming to yelp I did call the owner about quality issues, and I am very disappointed that the quality of my morning bagel has significantly decreased over the last year. They often burn my bagel and don't put cream cheese on the bagel all the way around. Please see attached picture. This has been happening every single time I've been going there for the past year. The place is usually packed. Donuts are good. If you want a better experience go down by lucky to the other bagel spot. The selection is bigger and quality is better of the bagel and Thai tea.

My total was $9.01 for a ham and cheese croissant and a small coffee. Pricey! Croissant had the ham and cheese only in the middle.

So, I live for coffee. I roast it, buy it, sell it, cup it, pack it, ship it, mix it, blend it…read more.. you name it. So when I travel, I'm usually hauling around an arsenal of brewing gear like some caffeinated survivalist. And yeah... I'm picky AF. I like what I like. So if you're gonna serve me coffee, it better show up dressed in a suit and tie. In this case, it absolutely did. I had to give the local spot near Grandma's house a shot. I walked in with crossed fingers and low expectations, but walked out with a satisfied palate, a smile, and an eagerness to visit again soon. This is NOT your run-of-the-mill coffee shop. They roast onsite. Real deal, Holyfield. I started with an espresso. Then a cortado. Then grabbed a bag of Yirgacheffe to go because I gotta see what else they got going on. . These guys clearly know what they're doing; and if they don't, they accidentally perfected it anyway. The espresso was balanced, clean, and intentional. Nothing hidden behind over-roasting or gimmicks. Just refined quality coffee handled correctly. I'm genuinely glad spots like this exist, and even happier one sits right here near my fam. Seriously, can't wait to visit again.

We've…read moreactually been here before and came back specifically because their coffee is genuinely excellent. This time, however, the experience was a bit mixed. The drinks were still top-notch--we really enjoyed them, and the Mediterranean bagel was also fresh and delicious. Quality-wise, they absolutely deliver. That said, the customer service unfortunately didn't match the level of the coffee. The cashier interaction felt curt and low-energy, and overall not very welcoming. When my husband asked about their most popular specialty drink, she mentioned the "Milky Way" and compared it to a Starbucks macchiato--which felt like an odd comparison for a specialty coffee shop that otherwise seems to take pride in its craft. More than anything, the interaction came across as disengaged and a bit uninterested, which stood out because places like this usually shine in both product and service. We'll likely still come back for the coffee and food, but I do think the service experience matters a lot--and this visit didn't quite meet expectations on that front.

It's got a pretty cool, modern yet organic vibe, though seating is fairly limited and the cafe itself is rather small. I got a large Thai tea with boba to treat myself, as I am almost never at a boba place early enough in the day for the caffeine not to affect me. They got my order wrong at first and gave me a small, though with prices and shrinkflation nowadays I'd never know if that's just what a large is. They corrected their mistake immediately when I asked about it, though. The tea itself was very tasty, sweet but not overly so, and the boba quality was decent. If I ever found myself down in the Silver Creek area again I'd come back and try some of their other interesting-looking flavors. It's also nice that they're open earlier than a lot of boba places would be!

The donuts were made to order, and I still remember the two young employees who worked there. They'd happily let you know it might take a few minutes because they wanted you to experience the product the way it was meant to taste. That kind of pride in what you're serving is rare, and it made a real impression. There's something different about that kind of enthusiasm coming from employees versus an owner. An owner has an obvious stake in selling you on something, but when the people making your food are genuinely excited for you to try it, that energy is contagious. You can't help but feed off of it. Fast forward to this year. My daughter loves coming here since we frequently visit the amazing Chinese restaurant next door (China Delight-highly recommend), so I've brought her a few times. Unfortunately, it's been a different experience. The donuts are always pre-made, and the focus seems to be more on cleaning and closing down than on having a fresh product ready for customers. To be fair, the staff is always friendly and I do appreciate a clean shop , but when I'm choosing between a spotless floor and a donut worth eating, I'd rather have the latter. I'll note that I usually come a bit after dinnertime, so maybe timing plays a role. But after a few visits with the same result, it feels more like a shift in priorities than bad luck. I genuinely hope this place finds its way back to what made it great. The bones are there. The location is great, the staff is kind, and clearly there's a customer base that wants to love this place. Bring back the fresh donuts and you'll earn those stars back!!

In addition to mochi donuts they sell hot dogs, coffee, and fruity tea. I was in the neighborhood so I stopped in for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. The shop was empty of customers; they must be busy in the mornings. They sell three donuts for $10.50, but they seemed to be out of quite a few flavors, so I ordered two chocolate and one Nutella. They are pre-made and stored in a glass case, unlike other places like Modo Hawaii that make them when you order. The donuts come in a nice box. They are large and dense and chewy, but weren't to my taste as I like them smaller and lighter, but that's just a personal preference. I'm not sure if I will go back, but I hope they do well at the Cottle location.
