I stopped in a month ago at 4:30am and the place was closed. I returned today and purchased 2 bagels and 3 donuts. The donuts were ok very sweet in taste. The bagels were very raw in the middle and unable to eat. The cook did something wrong and served them raw. Also homeless are out side asking for $2 dollars which I gave home. read more

Starting our day with some breakfast beagles here at Donuts & Things. Hubs went with the egg, bacon, turkey, and cheese beagle. It was pretty good and filling. I went with the BLT and it was loaded with crispy crunchy bacon and fresh tomato and lettuce. It was filling and satisfying. Hubs got a coffee and I went with orange jucce and some of his coffee, lol. Needed something sweet to had to get a dvils food chocolate donut with sprinkles for my inner child. Maple bar with custard filling. That's my go-to donut here and it's so good! The bar itself is large and the maple icing is nicely enrobed on top. The main thing I enjoy about this particular donut is that the custard is filled all the way through. A competitor in town (and a really good one) tends to not fill the custard entirely through the center of the donut bar. The only reason for the docked star was from the inconsistent customer service. The first time I went here, the lady helping us was super nice and engaging vs. the second time, there were two women that spoke to one another in their native tongue and I felt like I was interrupting them each time I had a question. This is not the kind of service anyone should get when they're a paying customer too. I'm hoping that was a one-off because their donuts are worth getting! read more

The good thing is that this place still exists lol. I've been coming here my entire life. The new owners took over in January 2025. We're now in December 2025. They have been upgrading and remodeling through out the year. The bagel sandwiches are still the same. The taste is the same. The one they changed is the #24. It comes with 2 sausages instead of one. Of course, they increased the prices. In addition, they have burritos! We have tried them and, girl, they have an immense amount of oil! The pan is filled with oil. There's more oil than anything. I like the potatoes and cheese but would suggest more egg and less oil. They have decorated the shop with cute frames and plants. read more

In person, the ladies running the shop are SO kind, quick, and friendly. I love the cutesy pink and white striped donut boxes! In person this shop is super busy but they are very quick. I placed an order on Yelp for pickup before work today and everything was ready right on time. The donuts were still warm when I picked them up. You can really taste the freshness, and the texture was perfect soft and fluffy inside with just the right amount of sweetness. So good, I had to take a bite first. Seriously, I didn't feel like making breakfast this morning so I decided to go out for a drive and I drive to this place called Donuts N Things off Monterey Rd just north of Main Street and decided to have a breakfast sandwich. The number 10 to be exact. This is the most tasty breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time. While I realize this place has been here for a long time, they are under new ownership and the staff is really friendly and it made for a more enjoyable experience. Come here for their freshly made cinnamon rolls! They only make a limited amount each day, so call before you arrive. The cinnamon roll was ooey-gooey and smothered in cream cheese frosting. What a horrible, horrible customer service. Came here at 4:30 am, ordered almost $20 worth of food and drinks, including coffee. Ate inside the store. As I was leaving, I topped the coffee cup with about an inch of coffee as my coffee was getting cold, not thinking about whether refills were allowed. As I was leaving, the owner woman came out to scold me about how they don't offer refills. She was trying to make me feel like I was stealing her coffee or something. I ended up leaving her a dollar to cover the refill cost - which she kept insisting there is no refill. This has been my go to spot for several months, always spending around $15-$20 per visit, but I won't be coming back. I hope that extra dollar she made off me was worth it to her bottom line. read more

The good: I'd give this a 3.5 stars. I tried a breakfast bagel, a blueberry donut and a jelly donut hole. I also got maple bars, a croissant sandwich, a bagel with strawberry cream cheese and chocolate donuts with peanuts. The jelly donut hole was delicious and so was the blueberry donut. I like that they were raised donuts. The interior is nice and clean with vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light. I noticed two older women inside playing cards so it looks like a welcoming place to hangout and enjoy some coffee/donuts. The interior has around 4-5 booth style wood tables/benches. The sandwiches were all made very quickly and the cashier was friendly. The bad: This place is cash only. There's an ATM machine inside though. I came on Sunday around 11AM and there was only one croissant left. There also weren't a lot of bagel options left. There were fewer donut options than I expected. I didn't see any sugar donuts and there was only one blueberry donut left. There was also only one donut left with peanuts on it. I don't know if it was due to the time that I came. The donuts were also put in a paper bag so the bag got greasy. I had to put the bags into a reusable bag in my car so my car seats wouldn't get greasy. The bagel in the bagel sandwich was on the small/thin side. The interesting: There is inside dining spots but no outdoor dining area. The side parking lot is on dirt but I think there is a cemented parking lot out back. read more

CASH ONLY. Donuts&Things is located on Monterey and offers some street and small parking lot parking. They are Covid ready with employees wearing masks and masks required from customers. This is my 2nd favorite place in the area for donuts. They are nice here, have a good selection, and their donuts taste fresh. They have a lot of breakfast sandwich options too that I haven't tried but want to soon (they smell really good). I like their sugar donut the best and raspberry filled second. I got the cinnamon twist, old fashioned donuts, cinnamon donut and a Turkey, egg and bacon croissant sandwich. It was $17. But for the price and quality they are great!
