Yes, getting that sugar fix taken care of. Had a craving for pan dulce and like always the bread here is made fresh daily. Biting into the cuernitos and the bread is soft and sugary, yum. When I'm here my eye immediately grows bigger than my stomach, lol. Tamales are a good choice if you in the area for lunch. I had the red chili and the green chili and they are both good. If your craving sweet tamales they have corn ones that are really good too.

They should stick to pastries like the name. Their tamales are dry, processed block of cheese that obviously is disgusting and tasteless. Don't buy it. Their chicken burrito is stewed shredded meat and lacks flavor, skimpy on that and fillings most of it is tortilla. Cubana torta does not even have ingredients to make one and that is also a sign this place cuts corners, uses processed cheap ingredients and not even authentic. Save your money and go somewhere else.

We have tried this place a couple times now and both times the food was delicious!! We had al pastor and cubana torta (Mexican sandwich), bean and rice burrito, tamales and Mexican bread. The bakery is small and busy. Will definitely be back for more.

This was interesting. I don't speak Spanish and they don't speak english. So I. pointed to what I wanted. We got about 4 cookies, a slice of tres leches cake and a few tamales. The tamales were verrrrry dry. I actually like Safeway tres leche cake better.

The food is so incredibly delicious! Freshly cooked while you wait. They have amazing tortas! Tamales are outstanding. This little hole in the wall is a must try if you're in the area! I'm also a big fan of their assortment of fresh bread. Only semi- downfall there is nowhere to actually eat in the restaurant. You have no choice but to take it Togo. Open 7 days a week! 5am-9:50pm

We drove over 20 miles just to pick up a birthday cake for my son because we have been longtime customers ever since their older location on the other side of Morgan Hill. Their cakes have always been amazing, full of flavor, fresh, moist, and very reasonably priced for the quality you get. While we were there, I decided to try their coffee and I believe the espresso was Tilly brand, and wow it was excellent. I also had one of their cinnamon rolls and it was honestly to die for. Soft, fresh, full of flavor, and one of the best pastries I've had in a long time. What really made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was super nice, polite, welcoming, and very professional. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Their boss should definitely give them a raise because great customer service like that is hard to find nowadays. If you are ever in the Morgan Hill area and looking for amazing pastries, great coffee, or a delicious birthday cake, look no further. Highly recommend Lawson Bakery! I would have took pictures, but my battery was dead. But next time for sure , I will

It…read morewas super loud inside and they told us the wait would be about 20 minutes, but we ended up waiting well over that. Besides the longer wait time, the experience was still good overall. The ladies working there were very nice and helpful. I ordered 8 breakfast burritos for my family and we sat outside on the patio. When we first sat down, the table was dirty and I accidentally got water on myself, but one of the girls quickly came outside and cleaned the table for us right away, which I appreciated. She even had the chef come sweep the area, so they definitely tried to make things right and were attentive to customer service. The patio area was actually really nice with plenty of seating and a family-friendly atmosphere. They even had games outside for kids like Connect 4 and Legos, which was a nice touch for families waiting or eating outside. The inside was packed, but the outdoor seating made it more enjoyable. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, country potatoes, scallions, and cheddar cheese in a whole wheat tortilla. The food was delicious and the burritos were packed with ingredients and very filling. Overall, despite the long wait and noise level, I'd still come back because the staff was kind and the food was worth it.

I wasn't sure what else was around in the bakery department, so my husband drove me down town to see what we could find. I spotted GVA and ran in right before closing as a last-resort, hoping they had something I could bring as a dessert to a friend's house. I caught the cashier while trying to get a quick bite, but she hurried to help (even with her mouth full, which I appreciated, being in a rush myself). She was very friendly and I got the chocolate chip cookies and biscottis I was hoping to find. The cookies were impressively big (my daughter told me they were as big as her head). We cut each cookie into 6 pieces so everyone could try the different types: chocolate chip, chocolate chocolate, and oatmeal, and then almond and chocolate biscottis. Everyone was happy with the cookie assortment! Thank you for being open when no one else was GVA! You saved the day~
