I'm a donut enthusiast. I have to say that there are places that sell donuts and the taste is as if though somebody just added water to a powdered mix. The flavor is quite distinctive - and awful. O'Henry's is not that. I enjoy many of their varieties, but the other day, I got a couple of simple, run of the mill, powdered donuts. They were so delicious! Who'd think that a powdered donut could taste so good? The best barometer is whether it is craveable and their donuts definitely are. I'm guessing an Asian family purchased a while back, since they were the owners when I first went. They are pleasant and speedy if you're in a hurry. I really enjoy going. O'Henry's makes fantastic donuts and based on the reviews, I'll need to try the burgers soon. I frequent local businesses, mom and pop type locations, especially when they make a great product at a reasonable price. Good job O'Henry's. read more

O'Henry's was a pleasant gem we found originally on Youtube. You could tell they're a community staple with how friendly everyone was. We got cheeseburgers, fries, and a glazed donut to go. The cheeseburgers were very classic, with a nice light char and your traditional onion, tomato, pickles, lettuce. The fries were thin and crispy, and thoroughly salted. Inside was well worn, with a couple tables and bar seating. We wouldn't mind stopping by here again when we're in town. read more

Love this place! I had a burger for lunch. I don't know what they do but they are the best burgers around. Great service, great prices.

O-Henry's Donuts is THE place in Morgan Hill to get your donut fix. Their selection caters to plenty with donut holes (custard, jelly-filled or plain), bars, bear claws, cake donuts, you name it, they have it. My go-to is the maple bar with custard filling and their seasonal blueberry cake donut. Each time, it hits and my donut cravings are fulfilled. For the maple bar, the custard is filled generously inside but somehow when they inject each side of the maple bar, it stops right before it reaches the middle so you don't get custard all the way through. A minor annoyance I'm reminded of each time I get this donut but it clearly doesn't stop me from coming back lol. They also have burgers and some other food which I have yet to try but if their donuts are good, I am betting their food is solid too. Their service is fast and efficient as expected. 09/22/25 Just stopped by to try out a couple classics. I tried the raised glazed and chocolate filled bar. So being 2:55 pm these doughnuts sat out for awhile. All in all they still were good. Not dried out or greasy. I've tried fresh one at the Cottle Road San Jose location and liked them fresh. Both places are similar in baking them. Why better than Dunkin Donuts. I definitely will come back to try some fresh ones. This location is very small think there's five tables and counter seating. Capacity prob 20. Prices are reasonable. Staff is nice. read more

A burger at a donut shop???? Pretty awesome if you ask me. This is a small and older store. They had lots of donuts, croissants, breakfast sandwiches, and ice cream besides the burger. Very kind staff. So I tried their single cheeseburger burger with everything on it (l/t/o/p) and onion rings. The burger was cooked on a flame grill, which is what I like. The flavor was great. Because they use fairly thin patties, I recommend ordering a double. Fresh veggies with mayo and ketchup was fresh and flavorful. The onion rings were crispy and lightly salted. The single was a good burger, but I think the double would make it a great burger. read more

Their apple fritter is nothing compared to Gilroy Donut shop. Lady in front which is younger a bit than the other woman said to me it's fresh even though it didn't look like it. One of the worse if not the worse apple fritter I've ever had. Just dry, cold and hard not even warm and chewy all the way like I'm used to. Lot of sugar crust that I just threw away. If you like that and less dough and apple it's for you. Blueberry donut tastes like regular. Next time I'll just take the hassle of withdrawing cash at least it's not wasted. read more

I just want to add that I brought my mom for lunch. I was raving about the burger to her so I just had to bring her! I ordered a double and she ordered a single without cheese +fries + coffee. We sat down to eat. They brought my daughter a high chair. When the owner came to bring us our food, I asked if she had any fruit or veggies for my daughter, she said yes. She came with tomatoes- they are my daughter's fav!!! Once again, the owner was friendly and attentive. I love this place! The pink donut I got was absolutely amazing; it was like a fluffy croissant and a fried donut had a baby. The sprinkle cake donut was good, exactly what I'd like want out of a cake donut. We also got donuts holes, super delicious with a hit of vanilla. My husband at his donuts in uninterrupted silence, which in our house is an indication that whatever you're eating is really good. The inside of the shop was super cute and styled like the retro diner. We took our donuts to go but next time we'd like to stay and eat inside. It's been a looooong time since I'd been to a donut shop but I really wanted one this morning so we came here. The shop is small but has some seating inside if you want to indulge instantly. The donuts are about $2 something a pop- we got a regular glazed, chocolate bar filled with custard and a chocolate glazed old fashion. I was also tempted to try the apple fritter but decided maybe next time. We took them to go and ate them at home- they were all really good! I didn't snap a photo because I was so excited to dig in. The ladies behind the counter were really friendly and patient as I made my choices. There was a steady stream of customers in the short time we were in the shop and I can see why. The good: Good things come in pink boxes. I tried a twisted glazed bar and expected it to be pretty standard like the donuts you'd get at grocery stores but it was far better than a standard donut! The texture had a slight chew to it and wasn't dry. It didn't feel heavy with grease. It was light and fluffy. The sweet glaze was just right with a nice little firmer texture. It was sweet in the best way! This donut spot definitely exceeded my expectations. Plus, they have a fun sticker on the pink boxes. Oh Henry's donuts in Morgan Hill has great donuts, the weight staff and owners are very friendly very accommodating. Good coffee too. However, I was surprised one day to find out that they actually have really good cheeseburgers and french fries. A little bit unusual for a really good bakery and donut shop, but just for a different place to go from time to time they really have good cheeseburgers. I like the decor, the 50 setting, and unlike some places now that aren't taking cash and refuse cash. They only accept cash! They do have an ATM if you're short of cash, but isn't it amazing how some stores refuse cash and others won't take credit cards. Yep, it's a place that's primarily a donut shop but they also make breakfast sandwiches as well as hamburgers and fries! I apologize that my photos of the burgers didn't do them justice. It's a cute little place that has a counter and tables if we weren't in the middle of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Well, there were a few orders in front of us so it took more than a few minutes, but it was worth the wait. I got a cheeseburger with everything; she got a hamburger with everything. Lightly toasted sesame seed buns were the carriers for the beef pattie, leaf lettuce, sliced tomato and pickle. Were they the best burgers ever? Quite honestly, no. But they were decent and hit all the spots that needed to be hit. My apple fritter was on the smaller side diameter wise and thickness wise. However, as someone else said, there was a ton of crispy crunchiness going on. I didn't find as many pieces of apple as I had hoped but certainly the flavor was there. Was told Henry's was a good place to get a doughnut, a burger and fries. The good: #1. This place has a really cool 50's diner vibe. #2. Super nice people The bad: Fries:were way over salted, were nearly dried out, Luke warm and well flavor less. Apple fritter: flat as a pancake, over glazed, hard as a rock through and through, could not visibly see any pieces of Apple or taste any, hands down the worst Apple fritter I've ever had: THE SUPRISINGLY DELICIOUS!!! Henry's Bacon cheeseburger was the best diner burger this guy has EVER had!! With it's super soft, slightly oily sesame seed bun, bacon, melted cheese, shredded lettuce, salt and pepper, and homemade mayonnaise sauce. This burger was a delicious mouth wiping, lips smacking, juicy burger that made me finally understand how lucky all those people were that grew up in the 50's and were able to eat at the special mom and pop diners. They're fresh and fluffy to eat during my mornings and never had a bad experience coming here. It's cash only and the price of donuts have gone up as expected due to the pandemic and inflation but it's just something we have to deal with. Iced coffee there is good but probably not really worth getting if you have a coffee machine at home (it's basically drip, creamer, ice, and whole milk).
