He mentioned that they have nearly 14 locations in California, with two more coming to Las Vegas. Quite the growing breakfast club! Naturally, our "breakfast of champions" began with their famous Bloody Marys. Perfectly seasoned and loaded with bacon, olives, onions, pickles, lemon, and lime, they were a highlight of the visit. We ordered the breakfast special: carne asada and eggs cooked our way over chilaquiles, with rice and beans on the side. The portions were generous, as always, so expect to take home leftovers. While we enjoyed the dish overall, the meat was a little dry for our taste. That left me wishing I'd ordered my trusty favorite: over-medium eggs, ham, crispy hash browns, and sourdough toast. I'm a breakfast girl through and through--I could happily eat it morning, noon, or night! Let me be perfectly clear here, it's chilequiles. There's no way a cook confused the two. I wasn't falling for that nonsense. How would only one piece have the blue hue to it too? Manager never came, she ended up bringing the check and took off plate as a courtesy she said, well yea I didn't eat it so why wouldn't you.
