This was our first time to this donut shop and they now have forever customers!! The bagel sandwiches are amazing! The donuts are the best in town! It's right across the street from Britton Middle School so it's convenient for the kids. The staff was pleasant and very fast to get us our food! The best donuts around! I live in San Jose but I come to donuts & things for my donuts bc they are just so much better here. The dough itself is so fluffy and good! Taste very fresh. They also have custard filled donut holes which are a must try. Inside it's very organized along w very reasonable prices! I was driving by and thought this would be a nice place to get my donut fix. The selection of donuts was decent and the aroma of the coffee made me want one. I asked the cashier for a small cup of coffee and she points to the coffee area and told me to get it myself. I have paid for my small cup of coffee, donut and with the extra change, I put in the tip jar. The cups placed upside down in a box and I accidently grabbed a medium/large cup. The cashier sees what I'm doing and gets upset. She said I grabbed the wrong cup and tells me to pay the difference. I didn't mind because it was an honestly mistake and it was only 50 cent more. I apologized to her for my mistake and she kept going on of what I did wrong. My day was ruined. When you wanted to start your day with a nice cup of coffee and a delicious donut, but you get the owner getting mad at you. I apologized, but then after she continues to complain about my mistake. I support small local businesses, but after this experience, I will never come back. I hope they will treat all their customers with kindness and respect. read more

I just had the worst breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The English muffin was not toasted it was lightly warmed and extremely soggy and the cheese was not melted and the ham was cold. Not to mention the fact they tried to overcharge me for my order. Very disappointed. Tried to call to ask them why the bread was soggy and the ham was cold and they hung up on me. They know how to keep you on the edge of your seat. They hooked me in with with the donuts. The "things" are the best part though. Everybody loves things, a thing could be anything. It could be a scooter, burrito, table tennis, or Harry Potter 3 the movie. Typically their things are pretty consistent like bagels, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and other drinks. Which is ideal for me because I like all those things as well. I get why they didn't make a sign that said donuts and bagels, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and other drinks. That would have been a long sign and I'm a slow reader so I probably wouldn't have been able to read the whole sign when I was driving by. I've been here a couple times. Croissants with egg cheese meat are good. But VERY unfriendly people. Their ham, egg & cheese croissant is $4.50. I ordered a croissant with egg, cheese, avocado and tomato. The woman behind the counter rings me up for $6. I know the avocado is $1.50 extra. So I said, "No meat and you're still charging me that much?" She mumbled something but I caught the comment about avocado. Then she said, "You going to pay or not?" I went here last month to order 24 croissant breakfast sandwiches. I phoned in the order the day before and request an early morning pick up. I live down the street from this place - suffice to say I go more than I should. The donuts taste fresh and I like that they have a variety of coffee flavors. The place is humble, with a few tables and chairs, usually filled up by locals. Overall, the employees are friendly. I have a few qualms, however.... - Please, please, please, Donuts & Things, stop using styrofoam cups! I try to bring in my own mug whenever possible. - No fancy fixings for coffee. For those of us who prefer soy milk (and for those who are lactose intolerant), it would be good to have a non-dairy option. - It's cash only. Stop by early for the cinnamon rolls--they go quick! Every time I visit Morgan Hill I pick some up. 2 rolls is plenty for 4 people. Grab a milk or some coffee too, you'll need it! I decided to give this place a try after seeing the reviews. After coming in and observing, I see it's a nice small place if you wanted to grab something quick and good. They have a nice selection of breakfast sandwiches. I got the turkey, bacon, eggs, cheese, and guacamole sandwich with a donut. I must say it was deletions the sand which was fresh and definitely filled me up. The donut was also good, I got a maple filled donut, just the donut had way to much cream filling I couldn't finish it or enjoy the actual donut. First off the cinnamon rolls here are amazing. They might be the best I ever had. In fact, I went here twice to make sure. The breakfast sandwiches have fried eggs (not microwaved like some places) They put American cheese on them....I haven't asked for something else yet since I didn't realize it at the time, but I assume there are other options.
