745 1st St Gilroy, CA 95020 Yogofino Yogurt in Gilroy is like a one-stop shop for cool refreshment. It's more than just fro-yo. They have frozen yogurt, milk teas, ice cream, and seating inside and outside. I was here on a warm Tuesday afternoon around 5:30pm. I found Yogofino using the Yelp App as a search engine. The name caught my attention because it's very close to "Yogofina," a local fro-yo chain in the SF Eastbay. I don't think it's the same chain. Yogofino Yogurt has alot to offer, including a fair price for fro-yo! August 2025- Price Per Ounce: 79 cents. I've been to several Yogurtlands recently, and their prices are all in the 85-89 cent/oz range. Easy Breezy Yogurt is $1+/ oz now. So what about the frozen yogurt here? Well, they have seven (7) Electro Freeze machines that have no center twist (or swirl) valve. The area around the machines was very clean. The young lady working there was busy cleaning the whole time I was there. I tried: Mango, Pineapple, and Chocolate with some jelly toppings. They have large selection of wet, dry, and liquid toppings. Service was nice and friendly. The pineapple fro-yo had a good flavor. Not much icy bite, or chalkiness. The mango had a milk flavor. I especially liked the chocolate. It was super creamy, almost like a mild soft serve. No chalky after taste or icy bite. It was 85*F, so my fro-yo didn't stay frozen very long. But it did have a very refreshing chill. I would return if I'm in the area again. Free parking in shopping center lot. Near the Cardenas Market and Mountain Mikes Pizza. read more

Came here to get a sweet treat so me and my partner got our own yogurt cups, we tried one claiming to be apple and it straight up tasted like molded apple or some type of rotten alcoholic concoction. I've come here a few times now, and fortunately, I've never had a bad experience like a few others have. The employees have been cordial, but perhaps that's because I've yet to complain about something. The reason I keep coming back is because they serve the pineapple Dole Whip froyo (you know, the one from the tiki room at Disneyland!). I love how I don't have to go all the way to LA or even Hawaii to get my Dole Whip fix. The only topping I get is mochi, but they have quite a few options for you to choose from (brownies, cheesecake, a variety of candies, etc.). It was our first time getting froyo here and the froyo was very watery so my daughter spilt a tiny bit of the liquid out, the owner (older middle eastern man) came out of nowhere and screamed at my daughter and took the cup of froyo from her and told her not to waste food. I started to argue with him and told him he was being rude and he started advancing towards me like he would hit me. He took her ice cream and brought it to the back, as if he wanted to save it to put it back into the machines to recycle froyo, please do not come here the owner does NOT DESERVE TO OWN A BUSINESS! I stopped by Yogofina on Saturday with my wife and daughter because it was a warm day and we needed something to cool us down. I was very impressed by how clean the yogurt section was and excited for all the variety of flavors. We all chose our yogurt flavors and toppings and the staff was very quick and helpful. Employees are straight up rude. My daughter got her self serve yogurt and before she put on the toppings I saw bugs in there She informed the worker and the worker yelled at her to just throw it away and get another one. My kid panicked and did as she was told. She wanted to get toppings but I told her to skip it seeing as there were bugs flying Around there. Gross. We ended up leaving to avoid getting any bugs getting into their treats. My other kids had to toss theirs since they couldn't avoid the fruit flies flying in soon enough. Yogurt was decent. I have been going to Yogofino with my friends and family for a while now. I love all their flavors and texture of froyo. They offer a lot of different treats, as well, so there is always something for someone. All the workers are very sweet and welcoming. Mixed feelings... I got the Tart and Coffee flavors, but the consistency of the coffee was off and I assumed maybe it hadn't been the popular flavor and added my toppings anyways... the tart was amazing, and with the almonds and crushed Oreos, even better... the coffee however was sour... yes I recognize it is yogurt, but it was almost as if the dairy was bad, or the machine wasn't clean. I ended up tossing half, but will be back to try the other treats. The place was immaculately clean, topping area, floor, tables, counter, which was a plus. Staff was super friendly even on a slower night towards closing. The boba drinks looked good, so I'll make another visit soon. Today I had the most absolute shocking customer service!! One of the employees had the audacity to yell at me, give me hand flapping attitude, and speak to me rudely. After correcting about my drink order, because even the manger knew she was making it wrong, she started with the insults. "This lady" is what I was referred to. She even raised her voice at the manager. When I told her customer service goes a long way, she continued with her insults. "Listen lady, I made your drinks so I did my job! What else do you want from me!?" "Ooohhh...go ahead and write a yelp review...I don't care!" The mind boggling part, the manager told me she is a good employee! I shall not be returning! Yogurt: The yogurt here is so good! It comes out thicker than other froyo shops and is airy (almost frozen mousse-like?). Really delicious! I'm a huge fan. I love that. -Toppings are fresh and cookie dough is top notch. -Staff is friendly and not up in your business. Great new yogurt spot, and in a convenient location in town! As others have said, the yogurt here is fluffier than most froyo places. It doesn't have an icy texture to it. I think that makes it melt a little bit faster, but it's worth it, because it's-- and believe me, this is the technical term -- fluffalicious. The toppings are also great (who doesn't want a giant chunk of tollhouse-style cookie dough on their healthy dessert treat?) and the service was friendly when we were there. Update: I used to live in LA and had been to boba spots all over, but this place truly has the best. They use fresh fruit in the smoothies and the boba is always fresh, never hard or stuck together. I also like how smooth they blend their drinks, unlike many spots here in town that give you a sad, icy mess. Best boba in Gilroy/Morgan hill for sure. read more

I am only giving this place one star for cleanliness, even though it had a sour smell. First of all, this frozen yogurt shop is located in Gilroy. There is NO way this place is going to stay in business charging customers .42 an ounce!!!!!! REALLY..... Second, there is no free water offered to customers, Hmmmmm. Seems a little stingy when we just paid .42 an ounce in Gilroy. Third, there are no labels to identify the toppings for the frozen yogurt. The quality of the yogurt was not up to standards because it was too watery or so thick it was difficult to come out of the machines. Very rude service. She told my niece to leave the store because she forget her mask, my niece knows she needs her mask so she was doing her best to cover her mouth and nose with her shirt (my niece is 4 btw). This didn't bother me because of course she didn't have a mask and they do have a sign that's says you require a mask for service but what did bother me was what happen shortly after. A family of 4 came in and their son who looked a bit older than my niece came in with no mask and was touching everything! He was a lil loud when they came in. She saw him and said NOTHING...... This bothered me. Also after I had finished my order my sister came in to place her order since my niece wasn't going to be left outside by herself. My sister ordered the mango tea and passion fruit tea. They both have the same color. She handed my sister the both drinks at the same time and my sister asked which one was the mango and which one was the passion fruit. All she said was "oh well the one I gave you first" ..... Original review: I like this place a lot but I had to mark it down because of our last experience :( The first two times I went here, there was a SUPER friendly, nice, helpful girl working, and she even remembered us the second time we came in which of course made us feel like valued customers. She had a nice smile, friendly attitude, greeted us when we came in, and even made awesome recommendations of menu items that she likes and that are popular with other customers. She seemed to be Asian or Pacific Islander and she was just wonderful! She made us delicious drinks and we were really happy! I am the type of person that when I find something I like, I stick with it, so we went in a third time and were so disappointed. When we walked in the third time a different employee was working, she appeared to be Hispanic or Latina. She was cleaning a yogurt machine, didn't greet us and didn't acknowledge us at all. She took her time (several minutes) completing what she was doing and then walked over to the register and asked what we wanted. She didn't smile or offer any customer service at all. When we ordered (two boba drinks) she cut us off and said she was all out of boba. So we left. I got the feeling she just didn't want to make any drinks, as boba is a staple item of this establishment and it would be odd for them to be out and for them not to place signage stating they were out so people could avoid coming in if that's what they were hoping to buyWe found a different establishment down the road which we will likely patronize instead. The yogurt is very good. The toppings are always stocked and plentiful. You u can go with all chocolatey goodness or fruity flavors. You can mix and match. My absolute favorite thing about this place is how IMMACULATE it is. You can see, feel, smell the clean. Luckily, you can't taste it. But it's crazy clean. A lot of fro-yo places I've been to don't have any beverage options, only a small jug of water off in the corner. This has the mandatory jug, but a small fridge stocked with Japanese sodas and the like. Prices are reasonable as long as you don't go too crazy. They have a nice rewards program, kids so you can take your yogurt to go, and gift cards. They put signs on their machines to let you know they splatter, which I think is very thoughtful. Bright colors and cute chairs round out this nice little frozen yogurt shop. The two areas they could use help: the music. Rap and hip hop is not something I'm ready to introduce my young children to, quite yet. And the cashier. They generally just want to take your money and then go sit in the back. read more
