SherTea Gilroy is such a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, the place feels cozy, welcoming, and homey. They have a great selection of drinks and desserts, but the highlight for me is definitely their halo-halo. It's the only place I know in the area that serves it, and it's always delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. One thing I really appreciate is how family-friendly they are. They have crayons and paper for kids to doodle while waiting, which is such a thoughtful touch and keeps little ones entertained. If you're in the Gilroy area and looking for a relaxing spot with great drinks, amazing halo-halo, and excellent customer service, I highly recommend giving SherTea a try. Service was fast and courteous. The ambience is a clean, basic 4 walls, ceiling and a floor with some plastic chairs and round tables. If you like really good boba tea, go elsewhere, this isn't it. Shades of artificial sweeteners and too much ice. read more

Edit: the drinks were ready and to the side but no one said that so we sat and waited for nothing. Customer service was a little lacking. Also I ordered no ice and it had ice. The tea is good. It's different from other places, it's actually tea. Green, black and oolong. Don't go expecting jasmine or earl grey milk tea. I'm actually here now and it's not terribly busy. The music is way too loud. You can't talk or hear others when they do. Turn it a down a little. I also ordered at 4:34 online, drove from Hollister, it's 5:05 and it's still not ready. I know they're new but that seems a little extra for 3 drinks. However it is nice to have a place closer than San Jose. read more

We are very excited that Sharetea has opened in Gilroy! We used to drive all the way to San Jose for good boba, so this is a great addition to the area. Our go-to orders are the Halo Halo and the Tiger Boba, both at 50% sweetness. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. My husband and I came by yesterday and we ordered the Hokkaido milk tea with boba and honey lemonade with popping strawberry boba. It was about a 35 minute wait to get our drinks which is understandable since it was the grand opening so hopefully the wait will be shorter in the future. My drink was good but my husband's drink was too sour even at 100% sweetness so I would not recommend getting the lemonade. For my drink I could taste the milk tea and the boba was the right texture (soft and chewy at the same time). I look forward to returning in the near future since there aren't many boba shops in the area. read more

Perfect stop here on a drive back from Fresno to Bay Area. Sharetea is probably the best tea place in Gilroy and the surrounding area. Very clean, good amount of seating, and conveniently located at 101/Pacheco Pass among lots of shops and restaurants. Enjoyed the pure oolong tea with honey jelly (no milk, no sugar). Tea was good and not bitter on its own, a key indicator of quality. Very popular as a lot of customers came in while I was there on a Friday afternoon. read more

Finally, a solid boba spot in Gilroy! Located right off Renz Lane near the outlets, this Sharetea is a perfect pit stop after a long afternoon of shopping. The space is clean and modern, though it's definitely more of a "grab and go" vibe than a place to settle in with a laptop. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, I only waited about 10 minutes for my drink. the consistency of the tea and the texture of the pearls, it's worth it. The Tea here is awesome! I accidentally ordered a Thai Tea and I wanted to Substitute the Boba from Pearls to Pudding. But I actually ordered half pearls and half pudding. I let the employees know and said I will try to order it correctly next time. As I was leaving they said "You never know, you might like our pearls.... lol." And to my surprise their pearls were a lot better than any other place I've had Boba. I also ordered a milk tea with half and half lychee jelly. I didn't like the pearls in this drink. Self ordered from a kiosk for four drinks that took about 25+ minutes. I do understand it is still in soft opening mode. At the same time there were 3 young workers. I ordered less sweet and oh boy was it so sweet. The topping itself was half the cup already. Not sure when I'm going back to this place for tea if at all. At least I did give it a try. My 19 yo was trying to tell me it's a brand new place give them a chance. But yet, she took sip and threw out her drink. I'm going to have to be honest and say I'm picky with my tea. I stopped by around 7:45 PM, about 15 minutes before closing, and was surprised when the employee working (05/03) immediately tried to turn us away, saying they were about to close and were out of "basically all ingredients." However, we were still able to place an order for five drinks, and they had everything needed to make each one--which were great, by the way. What stood out more was that several other groups who walked in after us were turned away, even though it was still within business hours. It seems like the shop may be missing out on potential customers during that last stretch before closing. I've visited before, including during the soft opening where I met the owner, Darwin, and had a completely different experience. This isn't the first time I've noticed customers being turned away early when management isn't present. Overall, the drinks are solid, but it might be worth addressing consistency in service--especially during posted business hours. read more
