I felt honestly robbed by this place $2.15 upcharge for cream cheese + .90 cents because we wanted the jalapeño bagel when house of bagels makes fresh bagels daily and the different bagels are interchangeable at no extra charge. Sometimes sticking too the roots really is better then trying something new Nearly $40 dollers for two bagels is insane to me. Probably won't be back, unless I magically win the lottery read more

I was in Gilroy doing some shopping, so yes, I had to stop at blazing bagels and get some breakfast. Drove up to the drive-through and I was greeted by the young man on the other side. He asked how many day was and then continue to take my order. I placed my order and then drove up to the window. When opening the window to take my card he was very friendly, polite, and welcoming. Ordered the Callie club and added avocado. The jalapeño bagel was perfectly toasted and the bacon was crispy. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and the mayo was light just the way I like it. Also ordered the Ube smoothie that came with Boba and whipped cream and it was very good. read more

Best bagel place around, either if you go to the one at the mall in Salinas or you go to Gilroy...DELICIOUS! The service is great at both but the one in Gilroy is much bigger if you want to sit and eat. The choices are great for bagels, breakfast sandwiches or bakery items... you can't go wrong read more

My husband and I stopped by here on a whim as we were here visiting family. I had the Sunrise breakfast bagel and added jalapeño cream cheese. It was delicious. The bagel was crispy, the eggs were fluffy and the cream cheese was the right amount of spicy. The prices are okay, maybe a tad high, but not terrible. The lobby is cluttered with supplies that should be stored away someplace, but otherwise clean. The young man working the front counter was a delight. He checks all the boxes for quality customer service. He was polite and wore a huge smile as a warm and welcoming invitation to the store. Where things went down hill was with the older gentleman in the back. Im assuming maybe the owner. He came out to the front and tripped over a fan and proceeded to throw a hissy fit about it and other items cluttering the area. I then witnessed him bringing drinks and orders to the front for customers and he continuously wears a smug look on his face and is not very polite. Completely unprofessional. I think this place needs to do one of two things. Keep this guy in the back out of view and ear shot of customers. Or, the better option. Learn from his young man running the register on how to be polite, grateful for your customers and be engaging in a polite and positive manner. Too bad this grumpy man ruined it, cuz this may have been a 5 star review. *special thank you to the young guy at the register. You saved this place from a 1 star review. They need to learn from you. read more

Really enjoyed my bagel and the service was fast! I was just a little confused because when I asked to add bacon, it came on the side instead of inside the bagel. Not a complaint at all, just saying... wouldn't it be common sense to put it inside?! Had to pull over to put it inside. read more

Bagels are pretty solid, nice service, decently priced. I had the sourdough and cinnamon raisin bagels toasted with cream cheese. Bagles were nice and warm, soft and slightly crunchy on the outside. Flavor was great, especially on the sourdough, good sour flavor. read more

My favorite bagel spot in Gilroy! The drive thru is so fast and convenient & the staff is super sweet and kind! I've been coming here since 2014, but I don't know why I have never wrote a review until now! My go to: cinnamon bagel w strawberry cream cheese or a morning star on everything bagel (egg, sausage & cheese). Depending on if I want to start the day sweet or savory. All in all, check this place out for fast service and a variety of bagels! read more

Loved this breakfast spot The bagels were fresh, perfectly toasted, and packed with fresh ingredients. The staff was friendly and service was quick, even during the weekend morning rush, which made it perfect for a grab-and-go breakfast. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Dude! $1.75 per bagel for butter! $2.15 per bagel for cream cheese! A $2.75 bagel turns into an over $6 bagel with basic condiments. Let alone over 10 minutes to get two bagels toasted. I will never come here again. read more

I showed up to Blazing Bagels at 2:57 PM. They're supposed to close at 3, but the doors were already locked. Someone was clearly in the back -- I knocked on the door and even called the store while standing outside, but they ignored me and refused to answer. If your hours say 3 PM, customers should be served up until 3, not shut out a few minutes early. It's unprofessional, disrespectful of people's time, and shows a lack of care for customers. Very disappointing experience. read more

So delicious! This is a bit of a hidden gem in Gilroy but it's got a drive through if you're passing by on your way out of town on 152. Fresh perfect texture bagels and great sandwich toppings. I had a New Yorker classic. It was so fresh and flavorful piled with salmon and onion and tomato with cream cheese all in perfect proportion. Then I had this amazing bagel based dessert with peaches and cinnamon heated with cream cheese as well. Heaven. Great coffee too! Check it out! read more

Good food. Quick service amd friendly staff. Drive thru is convenient. One of our favorite Sunday breakfast spots.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I had a really frustrating experience here. I waited 40 minutes for my food and drink, and when I asked about it, I was just told "your order is next" but that still took another 10 minutes! No updates, no apology, just waiting around. Then when I finally got my food, my drink wasn't even made. When I asked about it, the response was just "sorry, I forgot"... and when they did make it, it was super sticky on the outside, like you could tell it was rushed and not even wiped down. . Honestly, I get that things can get busy, but if there's a long wait, at least let customers know upfront. There were plenty of staff behind the counter, and better communication would've made a big difference. Hope they can work on the customer service and organization, because the food OR drink itself wasn't worth the wait. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I bought a sandwich bagel before work and towards the end of me eating it i saw a hair. looked like a brow hair or eyelash. i called & told them about it and they told me to come back to get a refund or new sandwich. i pulled up and went inside and the lady was already giving us attitude! i told her there was a hair on my bagel and i showed her and she had the nerve to tell me "it's not hair it's not hair" and proceeds to grab some equipment with a carpet like fabric on it and told me IT WAS THE FABRICCCC!! I TOLD HER EVEN IF ITS THAT, THATS NOT OKAY! i told her it was nasty and she just argued back and told me "it's not nasty". she was flat out rude! never even apologized for the inconvenience. gave me my money back, then proceeds to tell me to throw it away as if i wasn't going too. I was going to be calm and collected about everything until she wanted to argue with me and tell me it's not hair! read more

Great customer service!! Thank you for your consistent and friendly service!! Recommend this place.

The bagels are good. But hours definitely aren't right? Just went there (Sunday 945am) to get bagels and they aren't even open. So either the hours on here are wrong, or they just decided not to open today. read more

Love this place but wish they opened at 6am. For the early morning commuters I would pick this place more often if it was open. Also sad that inflation finally hit this little bagel shop. A good breakfast sandwich use to be just under $10. Sad they had to raise prices read more

This little mom and pop place is my go to for a good bagel with cream cheese or bagel sandwich. Friendly service and close by the freeway.

If I could rate negative, I would. Honestly, I would've given this place a 4 star rating before the incident that happened earlier today. I ordered a bagel sandwich this morning and right before I took a bite or my sandwich, I noticed half a USED bandaid stuck to the melted cheese of my bagel. We immediately returned the sandwich because ew but when we gave it to the employee, she did not even react. She was not surprised or apologetic - she just asked if we wanted a refund or another sandwich. We got the refund. I emailed the location to let them know what happen - picture and video provided - and the response I received was also not what I expected. Although the guy apologized, his solution was to offer me a free drink on my next return. I'm not understanding how they don't understand that this proves their employees are not doing their job at handling food health and safety and they're obviously not wearing gloves while handling the food. I'm disgusted and don't plan on ever coming back here. read more

I accidentally found while going to Gilroy CostCo Gas Station in a Sunday morning. I like bagels and not just your regular cream cheese in a packet you get at Starbucks. Different variations to choose from. One of the staff, Amanda, has a kind disposition and communication was encouraged between us. The hot chocolate, however, tasted with sour milk. I would still go for more variety of their bagel sandwiches. read more

The bagels overall are not the best, but they're pretty good for the price and quantity. If you think this is expensive, you will die if you order a breakfast bagel anywhere from Santa Cruz to San Francisco. Mexican Fiesta: 4/5 I got the Mexican Fiesta with added bacon and was delicious. This morning I had a few errands to run and wanted to get a breakfast bagel. I was in the neighborhood of Gilroy 10th street and visited Blazin Bagelz. I went through the drive through and placed my order of one breakfast sandwich and small coffee. As I pulled away I parked and noticed my sandwich was not what I ordered. I immediately went back in and associate apologized and made it right. Look this happens and we are human, mistakes happen. However as I was waiting a male employee comes from the back yelling profanities to a customer at the drive through. The employee was apparently agitated by the customer as he was yelling to just give me your Fucken order! I hope he muted the device and the customer did not hear what the employee was saying. As a customer inside hearing this and seeing the other employees reaction, I was visibly upset. This is not acceptable and I hope the team at Blazin Bagelz reads this and learns from it. I appreciate the hard work employees in the retail and food industry and they all deserve respect not only from customers but from their leadership team. read more

So, the concept of this place is pretty simple. They sell bagels. However, it'd be a shame to limit them to that alone. They make adult sized bagel bites, jam packed sandwiches and can even substitute their offerings with a croissant (albeit not true to their trademarked name). No matter what you order, have no doubt that it will come to you hot, stuffed full of ingredients and full of flavor. They have a decent selection of flavored bagels and spreads but the combinations are truly endless. I have visited a few times based on sheer curiosity but haven't tried much in the menu just yet... but we'll see what happens. Food is a five star. Staff during the week are mostly a five star. But whoever the heck the woman is they have working the weekends is terrible. She cannot hear, asking multiple times for customers to repeat their order, she's impatient, and even frustrates her coworkers (they can hear the customers but she cannot and you can hear them yelling at her about it). Last week I arrived 8 minutes before closing, she simply says "hello" on the speaker. I begin ordering. She says "blahblahbkahblah souwqgo". I asked "are you saying there is no sourdough?" She says "we close at 3". And I was just like huh? So I said "ok are you taking my order or are you closed?" She says "yes I take your order I just telling you we don't have sourdough". I could have simply ordered a plain bagel two minutes ago but instead of answering my question about the sourdough she started this unnecessary line of dialogue about their closing time....Today she cut us off and told us to pull to the window to order, preventing us from being able to look at the menu and order so we just left. I hate to give a bad review but she's just so rude and horrible to have to deal with. I hope management sees this because she is impacting profits when people drive away out of frustration. read more

4/4/21 #DriveThru bagel shop? Sure... needed something on the way to Pinnacles. So, here's the basic summary: Their bagels themselves are actually quite good. Fresh and chewy, great texture. Their breakfast sandwiches are what you'd expect, and perfectly fine. I'd skip the other sandwiches though, cause they totally are NOT what I'd expect... 1. Hamlet Breakfast Bagel with Super Seed Bagel $6: As mentioned the bagel was nicely warm and chewy. The ham was wet and not good quality though, but anyway, still it was overall fine. 6/10 2. Pastrami & Swiss Bagel Sandwich $7: One of their lunchy-type bagels. Unfortunately it totally is not what I was expecting, which would be a nice melty pastrami sandwich with swiss oozing over the sides, like their breakfast sandwich. Nope. It's basically a cold-cut, cold bagel sandwich. Which I guess is fine, but I'd prefer a normal sub then. 4/10 3. Sausage Club Breakfast Bagel $7 + Jalapeno Cheese Bagel $0.65: Ah, warm and chewy and gooey like the Hamlet except that their sausage is EXCELLENT. Super juicy. Like one of the better #fastfood sausage patties I've had! 9/10 4. Salami Pepperoncini $7: Same deal as the Pastrami. Skip. 4/10 5. Coffee, Medium $2: Was fine. Well, this was a pleasant surprise cause you know, it totally looks like a fast food chain kinda place. But honestly, it puts to shame many of the fancy hipster bagel shops we've visited in the last few years. 4/5 #gilroy #bagelshop #freshbagels #sandwich #bagelsandwich read more

Came here today after a trail run and so glad we did. We got the new yorker and the blazin turkey sandwhich plus a funky mocha monkey drink. A bagel place with drive thru?! Curious George here! We parked and walked instead. They have ample parking space. Such a cool place! Nice decor and color scheme. Well lit and awesome staff. They have a breakfast selection as well as their specialty ones. I knew exactly what I wanted in the breakfast section- The Sunrise! It's bacon, eggs and mozzarella cheese. Pretty basic and healthy. It tastes really good. With my chosen garlic bagel I'm good to go! They emphasize healthy and hearty and I say they hit their mark! No mayo or other stuff to bother your palette.
