As always had to get the Cali Club with avocado on a toasted jalapeño beagle which is my favorite on the menu. It was so good and satisfying that it filled me up and hit the spot. Hubbs got the BLT on a toasted jalapeño beagle and it was crunchy and delicious. We trade and share half with each other so we can savor two different beagle sandwiches.

The bagel was crispy, the eggs were fluffy and the cream cheese was the right amount of spicy. The prices are okay, maybe a tad high, but not terrible. The lobby is cluttered with supplies that should be stored away someplace, but otherwise clean. The young man working the front counter was a delight. He checks all the boxes for quality customer service. He was polite and wore a huge smile as a warm and welcoming invitation to the store. Where things went down hill was with the older gentleman in the back. Im assuming maybe the owner. He came out to the front and tripped over a fan and proceeded to throw a hissy fit about it and other items cluttering the area. I then witnessed him bringing drinks and orders to the front for customers and he continuously wears a smug look on his face and is not very polite. Completely unprofessional. I think this place needs to do one of two things. Keep this guy in the back out of view and ear shot of customers. Or, the better option. Learn from his young man running the register on how to be polite, grateful for your customers and be engaging in a polite and positive manner. Too bad this grumpy man ruined it, cuz this may have been a 5 star review. *special thank you to the young guy at the register. You saved this place from a 1 star review. They need to learn from you.

I asked the owner if he could remake the sandwich because the bagel was extra hard and stiff. The owner got so upset at me and said it's because I asked for the bagel to be toasted. I reminded him that I always order the same bagels and it's never been extra hard. He was so upset and insisted it was because of toasting. After trying to explain to him the texture of the bagel he seemed to get furious and decided to ignore me. He then just instructed his associate to remake the bagel. This was shocking that even his associate was taken back by his behavior. Definitely never returning to this place especially how the owner treats his returning customers.

The Classic Bloom bagel is simply filled with cream cheese, dipped in Bloom Butter, and topped with mozzarella. While it was good, it had a little too much cream cheese. I removed most of it and enjoyed the bagel much more. The two bloom bagels were big enough to eat for both breakfast and lunch. I would have ate a third one for dinner if I had one. In terms of the food, the garlic asiago bloom and jalapeno bloom was tasty - good ratio of cream to bread, but the best was the chili oil scallion bloom if you like a more spicy flavor. All the bagels had a sweet aftertaste and were a bit expensive, but overall were worth the hype. The drinks, on the other hand, weren't worth the money. The Strawberry Dubai Chocolate Latte just tasted like chocolate milk with a hint of strawberry and the banana matcha was a little watery. However, this place is a must try at least once if you want to try an aesthetic bloom bagel.
