I came on a Wednesday morning and was able to walk straight in with no wait. I got the corn, California, and chili bagel. All the bagels came out hot and fresh and had a perfect crisp outside and soft inside. I would say all of them felt pretty heavy to be eating in the morning. I personally enjoyed the corn the best out of all 3 of the bagels. For drinks I got the hojicha and black sesame latte. The hojicha was good but is on the pricey side. As for the black sesame latte I wish it had a stronger black sesame taste as I could hardly taste it

California and Corn

I arrived around 8:30 and there were only 8 people ahead of me which was nice. The selection is very creative which makes sense that they are viral. The lady with the head wrap who took my order was pretty fairly robotic and was quick to clear my order on the screen after I paid, so I wasn't able to collect my points. The bagels came fast and when I asked for a fork or napkins so I didn't get my hands dirty all that was offered up was wipes. The pistachio matcha was really good and surprisingly I enjoyed the corn bagel more than the crab. The bagel itself is really soft and delicious. Just wish the non personal get em in and out demeanor was warned up with lots of smiles and thank you's. Update to my review. I can eat imitation crab but I'm allergic to real crab. I think that they put real crab juice in the California roll and didn't state so on the ingredients. I keep trying to call the to get confirmation and no one will pick up and the mailbox is full. Again, customer service here is HUGELY lacking. Pick up your phone at a minimum.

Chili Oil Scallion Bloom

Yeah, I really didn't think I'd like these stuffed bagels all that much, but I was wrong. These are really really good. I had the chili oil scallion bloom (pictured) first and liked that the best, probably because I like spicy food. It's just flavorful without being overbearing, rich while not being excessively so. I mean I only had 1/2 (shared it with my wife), and that was a good portion size to eat as an afternoon snack or with a salad. A whole stuffed bagel as a meal would probably be fine, but the 3 times I ate one of these, it was always a 1/2 only and that felt right. Because if we're honest, these can't be very good for you, but like donuts, beer, and steak. . .as an occasional indulgence, it's just part of living, right? We also seasonal pesto asiago bloom and the garlic asiago bloom, and both were also good, with pesto being my 2nd favorite and the garlic being the third. Relatively speaking, the garlic had the "least" taste of the 3, without lacking taste at all, if that makes sense. Our next visit, we'll try one of the sweet options. Looking forward to it.

Went pretty early in the morning on Friday when it first opened. I got myself a garlic jalapeño bagel which was really tasty. It was so savory and fresh. The jalapeño added a small kick to it which I didn't mind at all. I would definitely come back to try all the other bagels they have. My wait time was less than 5 min since I was the second person in line that ordered. It's a small place with no seating area. It's place to just grab a quick bagel and go.

I finally got a chance to try out Bloom Bagels. They are located in a small strip mall close to the railroad Tracks, near Best Artisinal Empanadas. The parking lot is decent though probably crowded during the morning hours. The interior is small and simply decorated. There is no seating at all. Maybe a lone bench outside. The service was friendly and thoughtful. Garlic Asiago Bloom: Stuffed with garlic herb cream cheese. Dipped in Bloom Butter. Topped with Asiago cheese. Chili Oil Scallion Bloom: Stuffed with chili oil scallion cream cheese. Dipped in Bloom Butter. Topped with mozzarella. Pesto Asiago Bloom: Stuffed with pesto cream cheese. Dipped in Bloom Butter (Gilroy Garlic Honey). Topped with Asiago cheese and pine nuts. Green Matcha Bloom [A friend's pic] - they "thought it was so-so." All the bagels were fluffy, rich, delicious, and very filling. Support your local business.

Pesto Asiago Bloom

All the savory bagels were sold out at 1pm on a friday! Managed to snag a pesto asiago bagel. The bagel was fluffy and the cream cheese was surprisingly not overwhelming, it was whipped and airy. A little pricey for what it was but it was a fun style bagel!

If you're a bagel lover, you will want to check out @bloombagels! They have some unique flavors such as the corn cheese and pizza bagels and they were delicious! They might sell out quickly, so make sure to go early to secure your bagel! The corn cheese bagel is dipped in honey garlic butter and stuffed with corn, kewpie mayo scallions, and mozzarella. The pizza bagel is dipped in honey garlic butter as well and stuffed with cream cheese, sun dried tomatoes, pepperoni, mozzarella, and herbs. I'll have to come by again to try more of their bagels!

Wow both drink and bagels were spot on. The fluffy bagels and the flavors were so well balanced . Definitely recommend this place

Food: Cali Roll, Ube Almond Price: $9.50 | $8.75 Overall: Bloom Bagel has been one of the few stops where I had to try because honestly, bagels are my guilty pleasure . We came an hour before it closed and they sold out on the majority of the bagels (rip strawberry matcha) but the Cali and Ube Almond stood out! The order came quickly and warmed. There is no indoor seating since the store is small so we sat in the car, windows down. Trying these bagels has exceeded my expectations; the bagels have a crispy exterior, and soft pillowy chewy at the same time and the flavors are immaculate. I'm definitely going to need to head back to try the other bagels!!

The wait was a little long but the line went by fast. Unfortunately the order and pickup ahead was turned off so we couldn't get it earlier. They ran out of the garlic and ube so we got the corn cheese, pesto, cali, and strawberry matcha. Ranking: 1) Strawberry Matcha - sweet and perfectly complimented the bagel. I cannot put into words how good this one is but it is SEASONAL so try it out before it runs out. 2) Cali Bloom - Tastes just like a sushi roll but with bagel texture. Cannot go wrong with this, it's a classic. 3) Corn Cheese - Not the biggest fan of corn cheese but this was a top winner in my group. If you like corn cheese at kbbq, this is the one for you! Very creamy and savory 4) Pesto - Wasn't bad but it didn't stand out as much as the other ones. I didn't have a memorable taste for me unfortunately.

I've been hearing a lot of buzz about Bloom Bagels and how quickly they sell out, so I wasn't sure what to expect when I stopped by. I ended up going on a random Tuesday around noon, and to my surprise, there was no line and they still had their full menu available. One extra note is that they have a good live inventory button on their website, which is very useful if you decide to drop by and want to make sure specific bagels are still available. The staff was friendly and efficient, so I was in and out in under five minutes. If you're a fan of stuffed bagels, this place has delicious varieties. The flavors are creative and well-executed, with plenty of options to choose from. I especially liked their ube almond bagel, which is on the sweeter side and works great as a dessert-style treat. Overall, it lived up to the hype for me, and I'd definitely come back!

Ube Sesame Latte (Iced)

I was down in the South Bay for work and there were not many places I could walk to from my hotel--however, Bloom Bagels was one of them. I loved the Asian-influenced drinks and unique bagels (called Blooms.) I ordered the special (they don't always offer it) Strawberry Matcha Bloom ($9.25). It was filling, sweet, and had good stuffing. Good matcha and strawberry flavors, not overly sweet or fake. It was thick and chewy (but the good kind.) They don't have napkins but they do have damp towels. I also enjoyed the Ube Sesame Latte (Iced). Needed some mixing but I loved the way the flavors blended together. Not many cafes offer ube lattes let alone sesame lattes let alone ube sesame lattes! Service was okay. There's not really any seating inside, so people take their blooms to-go. I would come back! I wish they would expand up to San Francisco!

Tried Bloom Bagels after hearing so many recommendations from friends and family, and we pretty much sampled every flavor they had. We ordered ahead on the way there, and everything was ready when we arrived, which made pickup easy. We got 7 bagels for about $80, so it's definitely more of a treat stop than an everyday bagel run. Best by far: the Cali Roll. That was the unanimous favorite for all four of us. We also really enjoyed the chili oil scallion and pesto. Good to know: by the time we arrived at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, the miso scallion was already sold out. Biggest letdown: the matcha. It was gooey, kind of slimy, and didn't have much flavor. Overall, the bagels were tasty, loaded with cream cheese, and fun to try. Bloom feels like the kind of place you take visitors or foodie friends for something unique, not necessarily your weekly bagel spot. Also good to know: * small plaza parking, hit or miss * small interior, no real seating * casual grab-and-go vibe * probably much busier on weekends We ended up eating next door on an outdoor patio, thanks to a neighboring restaurant letting us use their table.

Ask the Community - Bloom Bagels

When is the best time to come when it won't be as busy or is it just always busy at every time of the day?

How come the bagels are all showing out of stock when trying to order on line/ website?

Our bagels take 24 hrs to make from beginning to end, so once we sell out of a flavor for the day, we mark the item out of stock. We understand the frustration when this happens. Of course we try to make as many as possible, but unfortunately it is… Read more

Do your bagels have egg in the dough or egg wash on them?

We do not use egg inside our bagel dough. However, some of the cream cheese or dips for the flavors might have egg. We will list which flavors have eggs in our menu. You are also welcome to ask staff to double check before ordering.

Are they still busy during the weekends? Like line outside type of deal?

No line last weekend when I went. They also have mobile order which is helpful

The bakery offers a place for friends to enjoy each other's company over fresh breads, pastries, coffees, and more. The café was packed with customers sharing pastries, enjoying meals, and catching up with friends. I got the salmon toast, and was the presentation beautiful! Two slices of sourdough bread topped with filets of smoked salmon on an herb aioli spread. All of this was garnished with a generous helping of frisee, a few rings of red onion, a helping of capers, a couple zests of lemon, and a sprinkling of dill. And what a delightful meal! From the first bite, the salmon was smoky with a hint of salt and sweetness, with herbal creaminess and a toasty crunch thanks to the aioli and bread. The frisee was peppery sharp, a highlight and good contrast to the salmon. The mild salty brininess of the capers and the bright tart lemon zest brought notes of sunshine and sea breeze to the dish. The dill was the fresh, light, finishing touch. This was just like a fresh lunch by the seaside, and for a moment it was heaven. Where community comes together for good food, Manresa is there. I've been buying their frozen bagels for a while now, so I knew what to anticipate with regards to taste and texture. My expectation was that, if the bagels are pretty good frozen from a bag, then they should be great fresh from the shop. I was hoping for the skies to open and angels to sing as I basked in the glory of a highly-praised Boichik bagel. Nope. It was not that way at all. I went with an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. The bagel came to me barely toasted. Maybe lukewarm with nary a hint of golden toastiness that one would expect when ordering a toasted bagel. I ate it anyway. If you like a toasted bagel, tell them extra toasted for that golden glow and warm interior. They were generous with the cream cheese, which had a good taste. But the bagels itself tasted no different than one that came frozen from a bag. I ate it anyway because it tasted good enough. Maybe they just serve the frozen bagels and don't make them fresh in-house? Because that is 100% what it tasted like. Mystery. Another gripe is that they didn't have much of a variety of cream cheese flavors. Maybe this is "New York style" to not offer more than a couple of basics? As for ambiance, the inside offers seating but I had to clean the tabletop of crumbs and food bits. Inside isn't very welcoming. It's as though they offer seating inside but don't really want you to sit there. There is better seating outside. Service was as bare bones as it comes. Give order at counter, pick up order at another counter when they call your name. Service seemed robotic. When there were no customers to tend to, staff chatted amongst themselves about non-work things while tabletops sat dirty. Parking is a bit of a bother as it's a small lot shared with lots of shops and a Trader Joe's. This wasn't the holy grail of bagel shops as I had hoped it would be. I'll save myself the bother and buy the frozen Boichik bagels from the grocery store (when they're on sale for $12/bag for the best deal).
