    Skimped steak and wake.
    Anthony T.

Panera used to be reliable, but lately it feels like you're paying full price for half portions. Today was another disappointing visit. My wife ordered an iced coffee through the app, simple enough, yet it showed up warm. We also ordered a steak and white sandwich with extra steak and added avocado. They charged almost $5 extra, but the avocado was barely a quarter of one, and the meat was practically nonexistent. The oatmeal wasn't any better. It came with almost no strawberries or fruit and was only filled halfway. We also ordered a bagel, which was the only thing they got right, but considering it's premade, it's pretty hard to mess that up. While I was waiting, another customer also had part of their order missing, something they had paid extra for. The manager seemed to give them a hard time about it instead of just fixing the issue, which came off as unprofessional. For what Panera charges, the portions, accuracy, and customer service just aren't matching the price. This location is consistently hit or miss, and unfortunately, it's mostly a miss.

My husband bought 4 cinnamon rolls and a brownie which cost 25.99!! Not only an outrageous price but the cinnamon rolls were tiny and hard. Never again!!

It's my first time here, the place is pretty big and was busy. The lady who took my order was super nice. While I waited for my food, I washed my hands in the restroom, and it was clean. People who worked here were super friendly and nice. This is the first time I placed an order to go, and the lady handed it to me. I was shocked. The bagels were fresh and nicely toasted, not burnt. I felt like the people who worked here took their time to make sure your order is done right.

this is after returning to Panera to get my sandwich made correctly. It's all bread sauce and tomatoes. No meat and a ton of rock salt on it

I've ordered from location store about six times in the last month. Three of the six orders have been wrong and caused me to back to get my order fixed. If you plan on ordering food from this location, plan on spending hours doing it! The worst thing is they don't offer you a coupon or a free sandwich for you having to spend 25 minutes out of your day going back to the location to get your food remade. Corporate better change this quick. Update: I just got back to my house with my sandwich and there was no meat on the sandwich and a ton of rock salt. I'm not sure what's going on at this location with the manager's name was Ari and she was extremely rude and seemed bothered that I came back because my order was wrong. You cannot have kids as managers. There's plenty of college graduates out there that can run a store properly and thoroughly. There's a very few 18 year-old kids. I can do it. I would demote this girl quickly.

Service was slow, food expensive for what was being offered. Every table I wanted to sit at was dirty, and it was early in the morning so they probably didn't clean them from the day before. Don't waste your time going there because you will be disappointed.

Here is the half sandwich with the "bowl"

Food is good. Not really any service because younpre order, and pick it up yourself ‍ But ordered a pickn2 with a full sized bowl of soup instead of a cup. So I got the "bowl" but not a bowl full by any means. I guess this was a learning experience. (A bowl means bigger charge, not portion). Ambiance? It's fine. But music is loud and nit pleasant. Just sayin

So I will preface this review by saying that I am an absolute fan of Panera anyway. However this location was very clean and well maintained... especially in spite of how busy it was. I was here On a Friday at lunchtime. There was a constant flow of traffic. Thankfully they had the bagels we wanted for the next 3 days and I was able to get them quickly before someone else did. The service was super prompt and the team members were very friendly. The manager was a hustler - she walked around continually working cleaning tables, serving customers, cleaning the dining room et cetera. Because of the coupon I had she needed to come over in assist and she was extraordinarily helpful. The food was fresh and served warm. I got the broccoli cheddar soup because it's my absolute favorite. If you're curious about the flatbreads the chicken bacon is really good as well. If you want a grilled or hot sandwich the frontega chicken is to die for. I also like the Asian chicken salad. The dressing is amazing you should try it. I love dipping baguette in the dressing and soup! You get a choice of apple, chips or baguette. I prefer baguette because they make bread fresh. The food is clean here i believe... Now I'm also a part of the sip club its worth it to me.. i stop by panera every day on my way to work back home. The Passion Papaya Green Tea... is... well... addicting. Adding room in this location is actually larger than I expected. Overall this location feels spacious and airy. If you're in the area give it a try.

    That right is IT!

Usually when I pass through this part of the road, I go to the store next-door. However, I have come to appreciate more of the style of service and food that Panera has. We were served with friendly service, and everything on the menu as well as the products behind the display were listed Very well for your convenience. There is the option to order with a cashier or to order on a device. I picked up the oatmeal and a cup of hot chocolate and that meal held me over well until I got into about four hours of my drive. The oatmeal was delicious! It was cooked to perfection and the highlights of fruits and nuts gave it the accent it needed to make it unique.the next time you pass through here, do yourself a favor and go to Panera instead of Starbucks. While Panera may not have a drive-through, there is less of a wait time and the food is way more wholesome than their next-door neighbors. Enjoy!

Black hair under my sandwich in the wrapper. Disgusting.

The vibe was family friendly and welcoming. They have been around for over 6 years now. We ordered vermicelli with bbq pork and shrimp, beef ball noodle, and a beef stew with tendon. You come here to drink Thai Tea with extra cream not a shot of whiskey for $6.00. It was a good business meeting but I am going to have to come back here with someone who really enjoys food. The chicken in the cheese quesadilla was a bit hard, reminiscent of leftover chicken that has been sitting for a while. Regular burrito was good, plenty of meat, beans and rice. Super burrito was mostly filled with rice and beans, not much meat. The waitress was very nice, however the food left much to be desired. As an Asian person myself, I respect the hustle because I know restaurant life is hard and they probably deal with all kinds of customers daily. That being said, you can definitely feel the difference between locations. The Fremont location has always felt warmer, friendlier, and more relaxed. Maybe it's the location or the type of customers they deal with, I'm not sure, but the Gilroy location gave a much more controlling vibe that I personally didn't like. At other TK locations, they usually let customers pack their own condiments or freely grab what they need. Here, everything felt very monitored and limited. We ordered two dishes and only got tiny amounts of chili oil and toppings. I even accidentally grabbed an extra straw because my drink straw was already packed in the bag, but honestly the overall vibe made me assume they probably forgot it. The way she looked at me after mentioning it made the interaction feel awkward, like I did something wrong over a straw. I understand restaurants are trying to save money because everything is expensive now, and they probably deal with customers taking too much. I get it. But the overall vibe just came across as overly strict and cheap to me personally. Even paying extra for pork grinds felt weird because instead of putting it in a separate container so I could actually see the portion, they just tossed it into the bowl. I also asked for the rice to be packed separately so it wouldn't get soggy by the time my husband got home, and it felt like I was asking for too much. The food itself was still really good, which is why this review is disappointing to write. This is the closest TK to my house, so I genuinely hope they stay open and do well. I just hope the customer service becomes a little warmer and less controlling when it comes to condiments and small requests. Not trying to bash an Asian-owned business at all -- just being honest as someone who's been eating TK for years. I'd still come back for takeout because the food is solid. I did kill my soup at home tho!
