IMO, the portions are much too big and the prices (for the quality you get) are way too high. Last time I went and got the filet, it was so awful I spit it out. The service is slow. I mean like 30 minutes waiting on a check slow. If they would curate their menu to a few special items and go back to super fresh food I'd consider trying again. As for now save your money and drive up to SJ or Carmel and get QUALITY food.

Within THREE MINUTES, they called me back. I explained why I had called anyway, they answered my question, and I was good to go. That kind of service definitely deserves a mention. So now for the reason you're probably actually reading this review: Was the food good? YES. The lasagna was excellent. Everything that came with it was good, there was WAY more food than I expected, and what originally looked expensive turned out to be a pretty darn good value. My inner cheapskate officially admitted defeat. Definitely recommended. And honestly, the biggest surprise was that the website made the meal sound much smaller than what actually showed up at my house.

This establishment has gotten way better they have updated the whole interior. Added a lot of tv's which is great if you want to bring a groups of friends to watch games and drink some beer they have a great selection on draft. The Pizza is delicious taste freshly made with fresh ingredients. They have a lot of food choices from pizza to appetizers, wings, salads, pastas, and some side dishes. it's great for parties or even catering. i had a birthday party for my grandmother here it went just as planed thanks to the staff who are very friendly and Super polite. They had everything set up when we arrived. I had a awesome experience here the new owner is very helpful said you could even do office meetings also there's a projector so you can do presentation as well. read more

Not only is the food less than mediocre. They get the pizza completely wrong. They will accuse you of lying and act like they didn't hear your specifics on the order. The gentlemen on the phone needs to get fired for being so rude. Is this how they treat all messed up orders? At the expense of their customers? Makes me wonder if he's the manager. Cause the lady who answered when I called back couldn't fix the issue. He handed the phone back to this rude guy. Im truly sorry I ever ordered a pizza here. I will never ever ever do it again. After years of visiting and bday party's I found out that Randy sold his location to go into Retirement. With that I welcome the new owner of the Hollister location. We ordered the king size pizzas with the combination. The pizza was very delicious and the dough was nice and soft. They also did a clean new remodel and installed new more new TVs. Hopefully soon they can replace the arcade games for some good ones, or more upgraded ones. read more

I ordered the meatball sandwich and a small order of the garlic bread twists. The sandwich came with potatoes and ranch dressing as did the garlic bread twists which was a pleasant surprise to me. I can't complain about the price at all and the order exceeded my expectations. A meatball sandwich is one of my favorites so I'll definitely be reordering this from Straw Hat Pizza. We always come here when we get the free lunch buffet coupon. The buffet pizza is very good and great moderate sizes so you can always have more the salad bar is nice and simple with great sides and healthy choices. We always come for the little games they have on the sides they just barely improved it mostly for bigger kids like ages 5 and up but my little one enjoyed it with some help. I would rate a 0 if I could! I just had a Hot Hat delivered and it had a hair in it that I found after my first bite. I have been ordering here for years and I will never order it again! I called to tell them about it and they offered me a free one next time. I told the guy that I will never buy one again and that this was unacceptable. He seemed not to care. Mountain Mike's was a weekly haunt when I was growing up in Morgan Hill, so when I decided to give the one here in town a try, I poured all of that sweet sweet nostalgia into my expectations. We wasted no time devouring both, and I can definitively say I have found a new favorite pizza place in town. My son got a personal Hawaiian. He ate it so fast I'm not sure he tasted it. He said it was his new favorite pizza though, so there's that. That's not to say it's all sunshine and rainbows. I would categorize it as definitely sunshine, and maybe one of those cool half rainbows you see from time to time. The pizza certainly isn't what I'd classify as "cheap". $51 for two smalls and a personal isn't bad, and definitely blows Round Table prices out of the water, but it is a little spendier than your Valley's and Domino's sorts of pies. You can taste the price difference too though. You're definitely eating better food for your $51. To close I'd like to toss a big high five in the direction of the staff. I echo the other sentiments I read in some reviews that they're pretty great. I arrived on time, but at the end of the night, so my pizza wasn't quite done. The ladies manning the restaurant were very friendly, pleasant, and even sent a sucker home for my son from their Halloween candy stash. A+ service in my opinion. TL;DR - The pizza is dope. A warm sandwich that comes with roast beef, creamy mozzarella cheese, crispy fried onions, tomatoes, " secret goo", zesty chimichurri sauce. (Hold the sprouts!!) and a sliced pickle, wedge and orange wedge. The sandwich I must say was excellent, the Dutch crunch bread was super moist yet crunchy at the same time, the crispy onions added a nice touch while the chimichurri and secret goo sauce also added some wonderful flavors. I have been to 3 different Erik's locations so far and IMO this is the best location.
