Great sandwiches for anytime day or night. I like the old fashioned way they make them.

The store has been somewhat hit and miss. However, this evening we placed a to-go order. The order was accepted and my son did the 20ish minute drive out. When he arrived we were told that they didn't have bread for the order. Sub wheat for white I guess...no no dear friends. They had no bread. At a sandwich shop. Here's the thing, you can, on such a catastrophic miss for a sandwich shop, refuse our order. You can even do one better, and close the shop. As you make the bread there this also means that there was a critical miss in making said bread. This is just an unacceptable fail bordering on some sort of Monty Pythonesque parody (see: Cheese Shop sketch). I'm also still waiting to see confirmation of the refund, which I have not yet seen. Dear Management Team,  I am writing to bring a serious facility cleanliness issue to your immediate attention. Today, my 11-year-old daughter and I visited your location and were deeply disappointed by the unsanitary state of the restroom and main facility floors.  The bathroom conditions were severe enough to cause my daughter physical distress and nausea. While attempting to use the restroom, we observed three employees nearby on their lunch breaks, yet no maintenance or cleaning appeared to have been performed.  As a customer, I expect a basic standard of hygiene and safety, which was severely lacking today. Made the mistake of ordering online AGAIN! At 1:01 -four sandwiches, they said ready at 1:19 I came in at 1:38. They still had two sandwiches to make. 1:44 out the door. Fool me once.... NO BREAD......... You took my order online, I drove 20 minutes to pick up and get there to be told you have NO BREAD. A sandwich shop with no bread during a busy dinner rush. Giving 1 star because you need to staff enough people to meet your door dash demand. You are only staffing for in person foot traffic and you are running your workers and your business into the ground! You need to staff enough people as if you are running a separate location just for the door dash demand. It's absolutely ridiculous to wait for 5 subs to be made in between each in-person order with only 2 people on the floor working! I feel so bad for those poor workers! Also the place is just dirty. There was a big slab of meat just laying on top of other meats in the fridge. Also a homeless man was helping himself to the fountain soda machine for some bonus cross contamination! read more

Just ate at this JMS location and what a pleasant experience! Every crew member that was on shift at 1:45 pm on 7/17/25 deserves recognition. What they got right: politeness, professionalism, attention to detail building each customer's sandwich, enthusiasm - they actually enjoyed being at work, friendliness, customer engagement... Jersey Mike's is a great sandwich shop. My go too is the big Karina. Is the cheesesteak with jalapenos.

I don't typically leave reviews but man this one needed it. Even though 3 employees were there and I was the only customer in the store, it took them about 25 minutes to complete my order of 2 regular sized subs. Never going again. They didn't apologize for the delay. They were all standing behind the counter cutting meat and bread instead of completing my order. After 15 minutes of waiting and hearing them laughing I asked about what's going on with my order. They said "oh we are working on that right now." read more

Don't promise a customer anything! I was in the parking lot and i was about to place my order, but decided to call your store because more times than I can count, my order has been given incorrectly and this is in regards to the bread . I know the owner has instructed her staff not to make more than a certain amount of Parmesan bread but many of us after 4 o'clock want a sandwich and want to have Parmesan bread as our choice. I have been more than patient because your overall staff is great and apologetic but today two of the girls refused to say who spoke to me on the phone and stayed quiet. The least the young lady who spoke to me on the phone could've done was taken responsibility for not communicating with her coworkers, apologized and I would've walked away as mistakes happen but she stayed quiet! I do not like plain white bread and told the girl who answered the phone the situation. She assured me there was Parmesan bread and I asked her to check because I've been told that in the past and when I show up, there is no more Parmesan bread and it's substituted with white. She said one large piece was left and I asked her to pull it. Well, long story short someone who was in line ordered their sandwich (after I placed my order) with Parmesan bread and was given the bread that was promised to me. I literally saw their sandwiches being made as I walked into the store. My order was placed 15 mins prior. Come to find out, a sandwich was being made for me but, with white bread which I declined to take. I get you're busy but that's no excuse, that's why I called prior to placing the order in the app. The last time it was substituted for white bread, I didn't find out until it was delivered so I gave it away to a neighbor. The time prior to that it was fine, the time prior to that we checked it in store and it was the wrong bread so we decided not to take it. Refund took weeks to get back on two sandwich. The time prior to that it was again delivered to me and it was the wrong bread so I found homeless people to give it away too and that was THREE large sandwiches. I generally purchase the sandwiches that cost nearly $20 every time! Your sandwiches are not free and today I said ... since I am already here and the sandwich was again made incorrectly, can I have that last piece of small parm bread that was on the counter but instead, was given a card for a free small sandwich. I asked again but (who I can only assume was) the supervisor said I could turn in the free card but let me ask you management... why should I turn in that card when at no fault of mine YOUR STORE runs out of parm bread time and time again? After all the times you guys have made mistakes and this is the first time you guys have ever remedied it with this free small sandwich card.why not ask me what else can I do to make you happy. I'm obviously pissed so here the end result. I really like the sandwiches from Jersey Mike's so that's why I go back but the owner, needs to step up and let employees make more Parmesan bread because not everyone likes the other kinds of bread and this is a BUSY store and being such... running out of bread because it's busy shouldn't be an excuse! Again, your sandwich are not cheap nor are they free so I don't understand why we should be forced to eat something we don't want and pay for! If your store don't have a certain kind of bread, then you should somehow on the app state you are out like Panera does and/or call the customer and don't just assume someone's going to eat a different bread. Traveling from the Bay Area to Pacific Grove we stopped at Gilroy for a quick lunch - Jersey Mike's in the Gilroy Crossings fit the bill. We had heard of Jersey Mike's but had never been, so it was a good opportunity check it out. Lunchtime on a Sunday afternoon and it was hopping! It was about a 15 minute wait to put in an order, but then the sandwiches were made quickly. Although it took a little while, the service was efficient and quite friendly. My wife and I split a regular California Club Sub which was just enough for us. My wife preferred the numerous bread options Subway has, but just give me a good French roll and I'm happy! The California club has turkey, provolone, avocado, veggies and bacon. Definitely a great sandwich, we enjoyed it. Our first encounter with Jersey Mike's - definitely a success. read more

The ladies who work this location on the weekend are so spirited! The cashier especially, I didn't get her name, was extremely kind and had a lot of energy that can't help but make you leave feeling positive and happy. Hubby and I ordered the giant Chicken Bacon Ranch and it was delicious! We haven't been to Jersey Mikes that much since we usually go to Subway, but this definitely was a memorable experience and taste, I'd even say better than Subway! This Jersey Mike's knows how to make subs! Every time I order on the Jersey Mike's App, the order is always ready before the pick-up time and is consistent in how the sandwiches are made. My go-to sub is the #9 Club Supreme on rosemary parmesan bread (which is a cold sandwich consisting of roast beef, antibiotic-free turkey, Swiss cheese, applewood smoked bacon, and mayonnaise). I like to make my sandwich "Mike's Way" which includes lettuce, tomatoes, onions, red wine vinegar, an olive oil blend, oregano, and salt. I've noticed if you don't eat your sandwich right away, the bread tends to absorb all of the olive oil and red wine vinegar leading to a very soggy and sad sandwich. My recommendation is to eat the entire sandwich right away if you can. The sandwiches can be pricey here but you're paying for quality above some other sandwich places (which will remain unnamed) that give you vegetables galore and hardly any protein. They cut the cheese and protein in-house so you can see the process involved just to make your sub. If you sign up for the Jersey Mike's rewards program, you also get a free sub and drink on your birthday. To my earlier review add: Jersey Mike's has a totally legit Philly cheesesteak! I tried it recently and was impressed. Earlier review: I've had a bunch of subs from various Jersey Mike's and am delighted to have this one so convenient to me. If you're craving a classic Italian sub, look no further than their #13. The other options I've tried have been good, too-- including their tuna, a sandwich I don't always trust elsewhere. The staff here (and at all the other locations I've tried) is friendly, fast and responsive, and the Jersey Mike's app simply rocks! This place has earned a spot on my regular-rotation list, and I have no higher compliment. For almost-fast food or road-trip fare, it's a great choice. read more

I've never been so sick in my life after eating here. I ate a BLT sandwich and was throwing up all night . I threw up 20 + times from both sides . I reported the illness to SCC food safety . I had a 101 degree fever that night . I will never eat here again . It's disgusting. Laurie I ate there on 3/14/2025 around 6:30-7 PM and I ordered the BLT regular . I ate there with my mom and sister and I'm the only one that got sick . I'm also the only one that ordered chicken. We ate in the facility. It was prepared from a dine in order . The staff was super nice but the chicken must have been bad . I still feel ill and it's Sunday although the symptoms have gotten much better by now . read more

Order not ready when I arrived (10 minutes after time listed on order). There was a space for special instructions, which hasn't been honored the last two times that I ordered a sandwich. I'm originally from the Philadelphia area and I know about cheesesteaks. I grew up eating them. I've tried most of the cheesecakes in Gilroy but the cheesecakes at Jersey Mikes are my favorite. Menu item number 17 on white bread is my favorite. The bread is fresh and the portion size is adequate. I like mine with fried onions, ketchup and sweet peppers. And I usually ask for extra sweet peppers. Many may not know this, but, but there's an app that you can download and install on your iPhone. With the app you can order in advance so that your cheesesteak will be waiting when you arrive. And if you use the app repeatedly, you accumulate credits that work towards a free cheesesteak after several orders. I usually pull out my phone and place my order when I'm at Costco so that on my way home, I can swing by and quickly pick up my favorite sandwich. The good was they didn't make the hot sandwich until we got there to pick up the food... The bad was the hot sandwich was missing the cheese. And the second sandwich was to be with vinegar and no oil and we got oil and no vinegar. I'd also like to make a suggestion to the owner. I ordered a cheesesteak with mushrooms and asked them to leave off the halipenios. They added some sweet pickeled peppers instead. $11 for my sandwich and IT WAS DISGUSTING. Last time we went, my husband ordered a B.L.T. and they charged for a regular sandwich and gave him just vegetables with 3 shriveled pieces of bacon.
