Ai is a mess Their real staff team is amazing and efficient, can't give enough compliments. Idk if it's management forcing this ai use but it's useless and a waste of time, in my opinion it wastes more time than it does helping. This is my go to Wienerchnitzel and I can't express how many times I've been frustrated with the automated menu that I have to ask for customer service. Management needs to fix and remove this feature as it wastes more time than "help" read more

The chain has always been consistent But I've tried getting kraut dogs with no mustard and I always seem to get it anyway! Get all beef I went here after going to Taylor's because I'm getting fat and was still hungry! I would go here again when I do WS I've always loved em! 4 read more

I used to live around this area for years before moving elsewhere. I'll try to be frank: there are times when I didn't like this place growing up, and the more I'd have to eat out here to order the same boring or tolerable plain hot dog with fries meal (I have every single food allergy known to man and hate food that's been spread with everything), it made me want to avoid it when I'd fully enter adulthood. Then, when I first learned they had added Chicken Tenders to the menu, I was happy to quickly make it my alternative after trying it with my usual fries. It changed my previous perspective on the location and company in general. I'm still not planning to eat there as a regular, but the fact that the mere-exposure effect is finally working is an accomplishment in itself. read more

Not recommended I saw 4 different persons making hot dogs non of them using gloves, touching everything, doors, food, containers, etc I got a really bad food poisoning same as my boyfriend. The city needs to go and inspect this business read more

My order was ready when I got there. The order was correct. They made it too easy for this 70 year old man.

Great chili dogs. Fast service. Prefer to get to go but sat and ate in dinning area was good. Relaxing and quiet.

The deluxe burger with no lettuce in it was just the start. Then the bread hard and dry. To much suase. Onions chop not sliced. They had a deluxe burger before but have no clue to make one. This place is going down hill now forgetting things extra things in my hot dog. Like a bread tab. The had no more sport peppers so instead gave me jalapeño with out saying something. read more

6 adults and a 5 year old showed up at 12:30 on a Friday. We put in a $61 order that included hot dogs with chili, chili cheese, mustard and sauerkraut and plain. Corn poppers and French fries. The order came out perfect and it was easy to recognize the items because they were wrapped in marked paper. Hot dogs were cooked and the fries were salted and crispy. The order was pleasant as she repeated the order. It was ready very quickly . Great job to the crew. Sal E New Rochelle . read more

I know it's fast food but I just love their chili cheese fries it's so satisfying. I also ordered their chili dog and I asked if they can add sauerkraut. There was no extra charge for that. ( Thank you ) I came here about 3 times already and it just depends on who's working. They fill up those fries. I've gone there twice and the lady server fill it up. (To where it looks like a large) I had also tried their strawberry, pineapple drink. It's good but a little too sweet for my taste. (I like my sweetness 50%) Taste is pretty consistent and the price is just right. It's a drive-thru and employees wear mask and gloves. I'm definitely coming back. read more

I just saw an employee make 7 hotdogs after touching the tray, the microwave the not put out the wrappers for the hotdogs she just place them on counter then get some wrappers, and cause she had gloves on. Why if she touches everything and the food. Never going back, nasty.some dogs were burnt and still served them out. I liked this place but not now. Stay away. read more

Came into Wienerschnitzel why, because grandson had to have mini corn dogs. I noticed they have a variety of ice cream options for you to choose from. One that looked very tempting was the vanilla soft serve cone dipped in orange, reminded me of a 50-50 bar. Will have to try it next time I visit. Maybe I'll have 2 ice creams, lol. read more

I expected them to be is consistently good as the other locations, but I was highly disappointed. I ordered the mini corn dogs and they were like little fried pebbles. This was my second time at this location and my last read more

Initial impression: Hidden small place behind another establishment. I don't come here often, but when I do the food has been great. The wait time is pretty typical of any fast food shop. You can see your food being made to order and the quality of the food reflects that. Their corn dogs are always crispy and fresh. Chilli cheese fries are always steaming hot and loaded with cheese. Lately I have been cutting back on eating fast food, but every once in awhile I treat myself. It's very affordable. You can't ask for more. Overall this place is awesome! Its clean and the staff is very friendly. Keep up the good work. read more

Wienerschnitzel - Chilli cheese fries are tasty and loaded with a generous amount of cheese - Fast Food Near Me - Gilroy, California

WOW. Wienerschnitzel in Gilroy is GREAT to say the least! There are things on the menu down there you don't see up here in San Jose like TAMALES ( tamales???!!! ) and other things like super-size offerings of their favorites that I had never seen up here before. I bought a super-size heaping of their world-famous Chili Cheese Fries that was a meal in itself because the serving must have been at least 2 lbs.! It was AMAZING to say the least and boy oh boy was it ever tasty! Luckily I spend quite a bit of time down in Gilroy and next time I'm there I'll definitely go for another heaping of chili cheese fries for a great price! read more

Truth be told.... I love Wienerschnitzel! I stopped here for a quick bite and was very impressed with the drive through service. The 2 young men at the window were very helpful. I'm not sure if I misspoke my order or if they misunderstood what I asked for. Either way, without hesitation they promptly offered to correct my order. No questions asked. Within a minute or 2 I had my order. Not for even a brief moment were they short or rude! I loved the customer service there! I've been to other locations and they are never this friendly or helpful. They're service should be mirrored in all fast food restaurants! They deserve a raise or promotion! I would definitely return and recommend this specific location to anyone! read more

Went to drive thru and the order was correct no complaints did not wait long I would go again

The hot dogs have always been decent, but decided to get a combo with a burger. The burger meat tastes like crap and the fries were lukewarm and rubbery. The drink was the best-hard to screw that up. read more

Honestly if you would go here I'd recommend going at night. When I go during the day they alway get my order wrong, but never have a problem with the night crew. read more

We just ran in because we were in the area, starving and wanted something quick and easy. The service was fast and friendly. Our butts barely hit the seats and our order was ready. Its fast food, not really much you can say about it. The restaurant itself was clean. read more

I went to get the mail today and seen a bunch of great coupons from weinerschnitzel. On it was the new ad for the chocolate and banana dipped ice cream cones! And the banana shakes!! The photo looked too good to pass up. Believe me when i say that you have to try both. They are soo worth $2 and some change. They had a coupon for a buy one chili cheese burrito get one free so I used that with no hassle. I ordered 3 chocolate and banana dipped cones and 2 banana shakes. The shakes came with whipped cream and a cherry on top. Yum. BEWARE : the ice cream melts fast so I suggest to eat it quickly but gently. If you bite it the dipped parts will crack and down with come the ice cream. I think your best bet is eating it inside weinerschnitzel. The banana shake has fresh banana in it. With little chunks inside that fits through your straw. But they both have two completely different tastes of banana so I recommend trying both. I enjoyed both in their own way. Enjoy read more

Shitty Pretty much sums it up. Ordered a chili dog with onions a chili cheese fry with onions. and drink. Chili dog came with cheese on it. Let it slide. Bun was so soggy, whole thing collapsed when i picked up. Ok. Ate with fork. Chili cheese fries were cold, limp and the ends of fries were crunchy like they were burnt. Take up to the register and asked for new chili cheese fries I got attitude from the girl with the wrist tattoo. She replaced in less than a minute but without the onions. I returned to ask for onions and she acted like she could not hear me, then grabbed the container from me and made a face as she turned. Then back at table, I notice only a chili "glaze" on the fries. No meat. No anything. Kinda a brown juice on the fries. So back to the counter to meet up with female employee with wrist tattoo. I tell her what's going on, or not going on, and she turns over responsibility to female manager with a wrist tattoo. She informs me that there is a charge for extra chili. I said there is no chili on there right now so how would it be extra. I just asked for my money back. No apologies. Nothing. Kinda hardcore attitude in there on the nightshift. Maybe its because I was the white devil. Haven't felt that uncomfortable in a restaurant in a while. Not coming back for a while either, until that bullshit gets weeded out. After reading a few reviews it seems like staff here is a big part of problem. Bad attitudes. Dont like your job?? Get another one. Wienerschnitzel corporate......are you listening? read more

Be careful and check your food before you take the first bite. Ordered the chili dog and chili hamburger combo. When my daughter unwrapped the hamburger, and after a couple bites, she noticed the bottom bun was moldy. Won't be coming back since there is no obvious QA being done with the food. Sorry discarded the hamburger before I could take a picture of it. Was too digusted to think about it. read more

If you follow my check-ins, I dine at some pretty decent places. Contemplating my drive to Carmel and needing to feed a growling stomach, I Yelped for my favorite restaurant, Wienerschnitzel! Yes, in Gilroy. Yelp directions GPS'ed my way to a Two Chili Cheese Combo with Fries and a small drink. Every bite with a bit of salty fries, was a culinarily delight. A good thing most of the stores are not close to where I live. Venturing out of my hood provides the opportunity to enjoy these delicacies. read more

Yesterday, coming back from Kaiser heading for 152, I decided to drive through this Wienerschnitzel. My last experience was that the chili was salty, but I have always loved a chili dog and thought I would give it another try. I order the chili fries and 2 chili dogs and a lemonade. Everything was hot and fresh...really fresh. The all beef dog was great and the chili wasn't salty, like the last time I had visited. I nibbled on the fries, but was about to go down to Watsonville, and it was getting a bit messy. I closed everything up and hoped it would still be hot when I arrived. It was and was still great. Saved my second dog for today, and closed in a box and micowaved for approx 45 sec, it was just about as good as yesterday. Whatever changes you all made, good for you! The lemonade was too sweet, so I watered down had had it as a cocktail later! read more

I been eatting at this store for years today I'm buying from drive though after I placed my order I drive up to to window and the manager walk up and confront with very aggressive(fighting) attitude and said why Am i scream at the lady who took my order. He said that lady told him that I screamed at her and he heard from his own earphones too. I was in total shock and told him Why would I screaming at her ? Im just ordering food to go. Maybe I did speak a little louder cause she did not understand my order. If a store manager can't define screaming and speak Loud and come out with fighting attitude to scare customer like this. This is unacceptable at all No body deserve this type of service at any restaurant. I'm 47 I eat Wienerschnitzel since I was 18. I never seen a manager come attack customer like this . read more

It's a damn wienerschnitzel, and damn good too. What not to expect...anything healthy, but that is not why you come here, you come here because of 3 reasons... 1. you're drunk 2. you're broke 3. you're broke and drunk that being said, the original chili dog is excellent as are the original corn dogs and of course the chili cheese fries are top notch. That being said, stay away from the "Angus Beef Upgrade" when ordering your dog because we are talking some serious sodium intake on those angus dogs, for real, hella salty yo, stick with the original wieners. Dessert is the best part, $0.99 chocolate dipped cones are great and always a crowd pleaser. read more

Hate this place. There beef "upgrade" for the hot dogs is such a sham. If you actually get a regular non-upgraded dog it's the size of a pencil. People who work here don't speak english. But the menu is in english so this creates a problem. Overpriced like crazy and never good to actually eat a meal here it will give you the fast food feeling you hate. One star for the rye sandwich. It's ok once in a blue moon. read more

Sometimes, you wake up in the middle of the night and ask yourself, "What is the meaning of life? Why am I here?" Other times, you wake up and think, "I could go for a chili cheese fries burrito right now." Never fails. After a 60+ hour work week or working nights, all I wanted after shopping with my family was fast hotdogs and chili cheese everything. You can imaging how upset and beyond sad I was to get home and see that yet again, my order was messed up. This place is notorious for forgetting items in to-go orders and I am the newest victim. My number 5 was missing not only the chili cheese dog, but the chili cheese burger as well. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for yet again showing your complete and utter incompetence in messing up my order. read more
