We had an online coupon for a 241 hamburger complete mail at this location in Morgan Hill for five guys. The coupon didn't work, but the franchise owner was present. He stated that they would honor the certificate/ coupon. We ordered two of their large hamburgers with bacon and all the works fried onions. Both meals were outstanding. The hamburgers were perfectly cooked while our onions were perfectly grilled. The french fries are probably the best we've ever had in Morgan Hill and we really enjoyed our meal. Stopped here on a quick road trip, service and food was great! Ordered a double burger, veggie sandwich, fries, and the famous Oreo cookie shake. Burgers were cooked perfectly and never disappoints. The veggie sandwich had a balance of mushrooms, peppers, onions, lettuce and tomatoes. Very good! Fries were fresh and hot, and the Oreo cookie shake was exactly what the doctor ordered on this hot day. The young lady who took the order was genuine and nice. Got my hamburger "all the way" minus mayo and added relish added to it and it was so delicious....probably will be how I'll be ordering my burgers here in the future. I'm an In-n-out gal because who doesn't love grilled onions and spread, but hubs loves Five Guys and I'm not complaining one bit. I thoroughly enjoyed by hamburger and cajun fries despite being a thicker cut french fry (I tend to like thinner and crispy french fries). Next time we come, I will probably get the little hamburger unless I'm starving since their burgers are hefty here or if I get the regular hamburger again, I'll have to eat less fries because I was majorly full. Normally great but not today. My burger was dry and not fresh and juicy. When they called my number 54 I thought wow that's the fastest I ever was served there. I figured later when I questioned the quality to myself the patties must have been sitting around. Very disappointed because I never had this experience at 5 Guys. They have the best fries in town hands down; and they always serve their fries in such a generous portion. Available outdoor seating is available. I am not a big burger person like I used to be, I eat pretty clean for the most part with the exception of a couple cheat meals on the weekend. However this was a GREAT burger....juicy and tasty, cooked fresh when you order. My first burger in nearly 3 months. A few things to know before you go; 1.) The regular burger has two patties 2.) The regular fries are more than enough for two 3.) Following a lackluster experience at the San Jose outpost of this chain, it took me over two years to try the Five Guys in Morgan Hill. Based on an awesome burger today, I should have visited sooner. This location is in the plaza with Chipotle, Yogurtland, Peet's, and Anytime Fitness. The interior seemed generally clean, although at least one table had a noticeable mess that hadn't been attended to (and it wasn't busy since I was the only person in line). The free salted peanuts were present in two locations, near the door and near the register, and they're pretty fun to crack and eat while waiting for your order. They also have one of those Coca-Cola machines with a touch screen and seemingly hundreds of options. I know that the "little" burgers already have a nice thick patty inside, but I went for the standard Cheeseburger ($6.59) with its two patties instead. I had it "All The Way" (mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, mustard) plus relish. Skipped the bacon since I didn't feel like adding the extra dollar. For the side, I got the regular-sized Cajun Fries $3.59) since I hadn't tried it before. The burger was a lot better than whatever I had the first time. Juicy, well-seasoned, some crunch, really savory. For anyone who's trying to make direction comparisons to In-N-Out, I think the relish completes the spread-like flavor profile. Cajun fries had a nice mildly spicy and salty seasoning, and this option is definitely not something I've seen at any other local place. Most of the fries had a good crunchy exterior when still fresh (as opposed to at the tail end of a meal) and fluffy interior. The portion is kinda ridiculous; there's no way they could fit the overflow in the fries cup, so they just leave your bag full of fries. Burger-wise, my burger today at Five Guys outdoes MOOYAH (over on Tennant) in the more premium pricing category and is a worthy alternative to In-N-Out, pricing aside. Fries-wise, clearly superior to MOOYAH, which had consistency issues, and the standard In-N-Out fries (although I'd argue that the "lite-well" In-N-Out fries are satisfying with less crunch-deterioration). Overall, for somebody in Morgan Hill who wants big burgers and thickly-cut fries (or cajun fries), Five Guys is most likely the best you can get. (P.S. Still thinking that I should make my Five Guys fries plus In-N-Out Double-Double animal-style soon. For anyone who's ever had this fantasy, the two respective locations in Morgan Hill are very close to each other, making this dream very achievable.) read more

We drove all the way from Hollister and ordered $60 worth of food, only to get home and find that our order is completely wrong!
