    Clam Linguini

This is such a nice place for lunch or dinner with family. You can dress casually or dress up a bit, as the venue is pretty and historic vibes but most families were dressed for a casual meal. Made a reservation morning of for 4 people and had a table set aside in the evening when we arrived. There is also bar seating to watch the Sunday game. WISCONSIN CHEESE CURDS: melty gooey cheese was crispy on the outside CLAM CHOWDER: standard clam chowder. Didn't really have a wow factor but was a nice side to the entrees CLAM LINGUINI: generous amount of clams! Some of the clams had sand in them, but nothing we couldn't handle! Pasta had good coating of sauce SEARED AHI TUNA SALAD: holy guacamole, this was the star of the show. It was so big you could probably feed a family of 3-4 people with just this. The wasabi reduction was the perfect complement to the ginger and sear of the tuna. Hefty amount of toppings too The only thing is that my family was a bit clumsy and were surprised by the large portions so we felt a bit limited on table space. Our silverware kept falling off the table and clattering on the floor and we felt sooo bad. But the servers are so nice and attentive so they brought out replacements as soon as they heard the clanking. Street parking and we went during dinner time so had to park a bit far and walk. Overall, nice ambience and would stop by again!

Great place with extensive menu & options for all kinds of palates! Stopped in for lunch with family ahead of the La Ofrenda Festival, we were seated and consistently checked on while we waited for the rest of our party. * Service: Dale took our orders quickly (& saved me from ordering over-cooked meat, thank you, Dale!), got our drinks, got our orders out, & checked-in on us throughout the meal. * Location: Super-conveniently located to access the festival, very neat historical setting! * Food: Ordered the flat-iron steak salad and Manhattan, both terrific! The rest of party tried the Cuban sandwich, Asian Chicken Salad, and Tomato Soup - everyone enjoyed their food. Will definitely be coming back to try more dishes with family. Thanks again, Dale & Old City Hall, team!

Food is quite mid. If you're looking for garlic in the garlic town, harder to find? They do have a nice garlic spread dish here for appetizers but the rest of the food leaves something to be wanted. The shrimp dish was alright but the pasta was too salty. Service was okay. Just friendly enough? Ambiance is interesting. Even with other travelers or people eating there and at the bar, it still feels empty somehow. That said, nothing stood out too far to be *bad*. It's just, decent.

    Apple pie! Yum!!

The restaurant has an old world charm with a lot of history inside out. Loved the service, very efficient and attentive, considering the place was packed on a Sunday brunch hour. The quality and quantity of food were very nice. The garlic fries and the apple pie were something we'd comeback for.

They brought my steak the first time, but the beef was very bad. It was overcooked and extremely tough. I asked them to remake it, but the second steak was even worse than the first. This was my third visit, and every Christmas season my salon organizes a Christmas dinner at this restaurant.

The Owners here are wonderful! The food here is amazing! Thank you for keeping this old historic building alive! But, the service can be improved a bit! 3 star's on the server!! One server inpecticular can work on her social skills!

Very friendly staff is always a bonus! We arrived close to 9pm and it was karaoke night in the patio. Waitress was awesome and very nice. Food was good too. I got the grilled chicken BLT with macaroni salad. Loved it!

This review is long overdue. Old City Hall has been one of my favorite restaurants to eat at, my grandma used to take me here frequently (she has since passed and is no longer with us) every time I come here, I think about my grandma and how much she loved eating here. At Old City Hall I have always receive welcoming service delicious food and a very inviting decor. Shout out to ALL who work here. I ordered their New York Steak with a baked potato, they cooked it just the way I like it, even though their menu states that they don't make baked potatoes before 4:00 our waitress went above and beyond to get my order the way I wanted it - thank you

After receiving our drinks, it took our waiter another 5 minutes to take our order. Honestly, we were not satisfied with our drinks. We ended sending back our 'Banana Matcha' because it tasted like oat milk and artificial sweetener (it made my sister gag), to me it tasted like nail polish (weird ik). I ordered the 'Horchata Latte' which was not as bad but wasn't able to taste the "horchata" part of the coffee. For food we ordered a 'Huevos Rancheros' and 'Chilaquiles verdes'. The portions are a good size for the prices., chilaquiles were good and spicy but the Tri-tip can use more flavor/seasoning and the huevos rancheros were also good, no complaints on the dish. Although the workers were nice, it wasn't a good experience.

I went with the chilaquiles which I believe they're known for and they did not disappoint. Great flavor and definitely something I'd order again. I also tried the horchata latte, which was delicious and unique. It wasn't overly sweet, so if you prefer less sugary drinks, you'll love it. Personally, I would have liked just a touch more sweetness, but that's just preference. Service was fast and our server was very friendly. Overall, a great lunch spot and we'll definitely be back next time we're at the outlets.

5-Star Review for OD's Kitchen in Gilroy I finally made it…read moreto OD's Kitchen in downtown Gilroy, and wow--what a fantastic spot for breakfast! This place lives up to all the hype as one of the best breakfast joints in the area, with huge portions, friendly service, and that cozy local vibe. I started with the chocolate cream drink (their rich, creamy hot chocolate or chocolate milk variation--whatever it exactly is, it's indulgent!). It was perfectly sweet without being overpowering, super smooth and velvety, topped just right. If you're a chocolate lover, this hits the spot and pairs amazingly with breakfast. Not too heavy, but definitely satisfying. For my main, I went with the famous Rosebud breakfast, and I can see why it's a favorite for so many people. It's a hearty, loaded plate with eggs, meats, potatoes, and all the classic fixings done exceptionally well. Everything was cooked perfectly--fluffy eggs, crispy edges where needed, and those fresh country potatoes were addictive. The portions are generous; I couldn't finish it all and definitely didn't need lunch afterward! The staff was quick, welcoming, and the place was buzzing with locals. If you're in Gilroy and craving a solid, no-fuss breakfast with standout items like the Rosebud and a great chocolate drink, OD's Kitchen is a must-visit. Highly recommend--I'll be back soon! 5/5 stars

I can say, without hesitation, that this was the second worst Chicken Fried Steak I've ever had in my life. The breading completely came off the steak. The steak was thin and WAY over cooked. It was tougher than shoe leather. I could barely cut it with the steak knife, and it gave my jaw a helluva workout trying to chew that thing. And the gravy was terrible. So thin, I could see the steak right through it. It looked like a glazed donut. That's how thin the gravy was. Then, I asked for EXTRA crispy hash browns. They weren't even regular crispy, let alone EXTRA crispy. The eggs and the English muffin were fine. It's hard to mess up those things. The service was fine, but the kitchen COMPLETELY dropped the ball. I drove all the way from Santa Clara, thinking about the great CFS they used to have. Wasting all that gas, for one of the worst breakfasts I've had in a long, long time. smh

I chose cornbread, baked beans, and coleslaw. The burnt ends are by far my favorite! They were so flavorful and absolutely the most perfect texture. Not too much fat, but so much flavor! The ribs were also delicious. They weren't "fall off the bone", but not everyone likes that anyways. I thought they were amazing! The baked beans were fine, I was expecting them to be sweeter but now I know. Next time I'll get the potato salad. I got to try it and it was delicious and unique. The coleslaw was good and fresh, perfect crunch. It was a nice contrast in flavor with all the meat and barbecue sauce. The cornbread is not the sweet kind. Which is nice because you can put your own butter and honey on it to your liking. They have an awesome selection of beers in the fridge and some on tap as well.
