I really enjoyed this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was surprised by how spacious it is.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was super friendly, welcoming, and made some great recommendations. The portions are generous too. I'll definitely be stopping by again the next time I'm in town.

It's been awhile since the last time we were here so it's good to come back and try again the food if it's the same still. I got the steak and cheese and chose pancakes and country potatoes for the sides while my mom got the od special . It's always nice to have choices what would you like for the sides. My mom and I didn't expect that we can actually change the toast to pancakes as it's not mentioned in the menu. My favorite part is the maple syrup as it's served warm. For someone who only uses syrup for pancakes that's a big plus for me. The steak and cheese was good but I feel like it's missing some taste to it that the salsa helped to cover. Service was good. We sat at the back room but I feel like we're checked enough times to make sure we're okay. The only funny thing I found was when I paid for the bill in the front, one of the server supposed to walk to our table to give us the to go box but instead the other server stopped her and gave me the to go box instead. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was casual. At first, it's really nice as it's quite peaceful and can actually enjoy the food quietly but when a big group came, they're loud that I tried to rush to finish so I can leave the restaurant already.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely worth to come back but hopefully they'll have more options with their pancakes.

    Grilled Salmon Salad

3/5 stars because I choose a salad way too much of everything I only ate the salmon. Besides the salad everything else is good.

The vegetarian omelette was delicious and light: three eggs, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, and cheddar cheese. I chose country potatoes and buttered wheat toast. Both were cooked crisp and tasty. Even the still iced water was refreshing. The service was quick and efficient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was calm for a Monday morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The glowing reviews are accurate. I can attest firsthand as I came to OD's Kitchen to celebrate a gf's birthday and was just blown away. Brekkie is not usually what I would lean-into meal-wise over lunch or dinner but with the food being so good, I would actually come back. We both ordered the Kitchen Sink plate which was loaded with all of the breakfast fixings and covered in a bed of delectable gravy, and topped off with two sunny-side up eggs. It was so much food that we were able to take at least half to go for a second meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You know the place is good when there's people waiting outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Despite the small wait time, the service was fast and attentive. The next time I'm in Gilroy, I definitely will be making my way back to OD's Kitchen!

I'm ashamed of myself that I haven't been back here in 10 plus years! This place on my way up to San Jose has been out of the way for my liking and I'm sure to now stop on by more often. I've always remembered they are not shy with the portions and did they deliver. I ordered the half rose bud as I remember they serve well and it was plenty! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our server was on point and the atmosphere on a Saturday was amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Had a wonderful experience and I'll be sure to come back as much as possible! Highly and I mean highly recommend OD's Kitchen !

This place is great! From the food to the service there isn't anything bad I can say about my experience. I got the Kitchen Sink which was delicious. It comes with fried potatoes with diced ham, bell peppers, onions, sautéed together with cheddar cheese and 2 eggs on top, with choice of toast. The portion size of this dish is on the bigger side. The people who work here are so friendly and funny! The server genuinely gave me the feeling that she loves her job. One of the best servers I have come across in a long time.

LEGIT. This place has taken the crown as my favorite breakfast spot in the South Bay. Well super super South Bay. Their service is phenomenal, the gravy is out of this world, and the portions are obscene. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I can't wait to bring the family down for breakfast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Server recommended the chicken fried chicken (instead of steak) it was moist and super tender. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

I've come here again after my great experiences before. The food is still strong. Service is great and they have good pancakes and breakfast options. The last time I got the Kitchen Sink, there were maybe toooo many potatoes, but overall it was delicious. Staff are really nice. This is hearty! Great for after or before hiking.

Not so happy this time I ordered the side off apple slices and it wasn't even half of the apple. I asked the waitress if I could get the rest of the apple and she said she would have to charge me double.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Lovely little downtown gem.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Welcomed right away and handed menus to sit wherever we liked. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's was quaint and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the "little one" full breakfast but with one egg. My bf ordered the linguisa and eggs. Both were delicious, eggs cooked perfect, the sourdough toast was so good I asked what brand, it was from a local baker Paulino's in Watsonville. Best sourdough! Our server Janelle was AMAZING, i couldn't decide on which salsa I wanted so she brought out a little of all 3. She was great! We will be back!

I read the reviews so I had to try this place. When we walked in, the lady handed me two menus and told me to sit anywhere. We ordered and she brought us our utensils and drinks. My friend and I wondered why the server was being rude. I tried talking to the server and she just seemed off. She rarely made eye contact. It was 1 pm and pretty empty so it wasn't that she was busy. While we were eating they decided to clean and all I could smell were the chemicals. There's something about the food that made me feel sick afterwards- maybe the extreme amount of oil dripping from the bottom. My tummy felt so bloated and gassy after eating here- it left a bad taste in my mouth and definitely my stomach! Lol The place is decorated for the holidays- I love the festive cheer! They could definitely work on their customer service.

They reopened on January 9, 2024.

    Can you do phone orders?

    Yes

Do you have any gluten-free breakfast food like pancakes, waffles or French toast?

    Is there outdoor seating?

    Yes they do

Does the gravy have pork? Can I order a vegetarian version of the rosebud?

How long is the usual wait time during the weekend?

20 minutes, up to 45-50 minutes. It is well worth the wait. I suggest arriving before 9 a.m., if possible. 10 a.m. seems to be quite popular

We started the trip with what I can say was a can't be beat resort stay here. We each had our own king rooms that honestly almost made me hate my own home. From the start of the stay pulling up to the security gate and getting greeted with so much energy and friendliness then being handed a rosemary bag to bring you into the mood. Immediately I knew I would love this place. The valets were great. The lobby staff were great. I was at the resort for two days and I swear I never touched a door to open. My room was ready early which was a bonus and the room. Again just great. Spacious. Ultra clean. All the amenities you could want. Fridge bar area. Fireplace. Sliding double doors to a private patio overlooking a fantastic golf course. Giant bathroom with separate soaking tub that was divine. I could review the golf all by itself. Super nice caddy Jack who it was a pleasure to spend the day working alongside and perfect weather because it can certainly get hot out there. We had a catered private lunch and then we had dinner in the bar area and everything was, you guess it, perfect. I will be back it's just a matter of when.

They also offer other flavored latte's (matcha, lavender, hazlenut etc), tea, coffee, soda, etc. We both had chilaquiles verde (also a favorite)... his with grilled chicken and mine with carnitas. Super tasty and just spicy enough. And my SO's daughter is vegetarian so they made her a chipotle sandwich without the chicken but with extra cheese which she liked very much as well. The fries were tasty ,and I really enjoyed the side salad that came with it. The burger itself came with lettuce , tomato and a house sauce (thousand island blend). The burger was cooked perfectly , and tasted pretty good. However, when you add a $10.00 IPA to the equation and throw in a tip- I was out $41.00. I didn't like my meal enough to spend that kind of money. For a burger to be this pricey, I needed more. This place seems like a cool place to chill ,watch a game, and enjoy a cold beer.
