Very nice restaurant. The wait staff were fantastic. I had a chai latte and it was probably the best one I've ever had. It tasted so delicious. I ordered a Denver omelette with hash browns and a side of sourdough toast and all of it was just fantastic. So yummy. They were very fast and it was a busy Friday morning when we walked in at 10:30 am, but there were tables available and we didn't have to wait. They were very fast with our food which was very nice. Eggs & waffles is a great spot if you're craving breakfast or a delicious specialty coffee! Mind you, it's not perfect. Every time I've eaten here, I've gotten something different. Not every item is my favorite but there are some really tasty options. Their speciality coffees are amazing! This time I've gotten the pistachio latte and it was incredible. I'd go back just for that. The servers are wonderful. This is the first time that I've gone with dietary restrictions (no dairy, eggs or gluten), as I'm breastfeeding a baby with a sensitive stomach. They did their best to accommodate my restrictions without making a fuss about it, which I really appreciate. If you go on the weekend, expect it to be a tad busier. We waited 15 min to be seated (2 adults + an infant). It's a little small, no room for a stroller. I got the NY steak (sub eggs) with avocado and country potatoes. Cooked without butter. I'd rate it a 3.5/5 - a little bland and over cooked. My husband always gets the Gribble combo. The sausage is always his favorite. Added on the fruit waffle for an extra $2. It's always a hit! I was in the area on a Sunday morning and decided to stop by for a quick brunch. There was a small wait, but I was seated in about 5 minutes. My group all ordered egg's benedicts (lox and California). My friends were surprised with their salmon, because the menu description was misleading. It described smoked salmon, but they got salmon that was baked through and it was missing capers. They also thought it was a bit salty for their taste. However, I enjoyed my California Benedict and felt that they were very generous with their portions. There was a lot of bacon and avocado. I also enjoyed their English muffins, which were thick and fluffy. Their hashbrowns were too thick for my preference, so the inside was mushy, but I enjoyed the crisp on the outside. We arrived here for a Sunday brunch. Parking was plentiful and not an issue at all. Unfortunately the wait to eat inside was longer than we had time for since our son was at birthday party down the street. We decided to sit in the outdoor patio which was small but still nice as the sun was coming out slowly. We were seated immediately. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was delicious. Compared with other chicken fried steaks I have had in the past, this fried steak was a little smaller nonetheless I enjoyed it with the fried hash browns and toast. The wifey ordered Crab Cake Eggs Benedict and it was also tasty. She ordered the mimosas flights which came with 4 different flavors. We shared 2 each and they hit the spot. Our service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was very loud inside and crowded. I saw that there was a photo opp spot with a neon lights sign as the background. I believe the restaurant has been opened for about 10 months now and so it was nice to check this spot out. We hope to be back when we are in the area. I just found this place and it is amazing. I've come for breakfast the last four weekends. Inside is well laid out and nicely decorated. Service is very warm and friendly. The portions was ok and price was a little in the higher end average price was in the high teens. Out of the food that we got, the best was the mimosa and the meat omelet. The steak tasted ok but could have been seasoned a little more but great for how it was cooked because they did not overcook it like other places do. The plates they used were really nice and used these surf board plates for some dishes. Be careful though the surf board kinda slips a little more. We also tried their beef veggie soup and the broth was very good. The meat was ground beef. We came out satisfied and full due to all the food we ordered but for the taste it was typical. This review is extremely long overdue. I've eaten here twice with my family and I have to say it's been such a hit, even with picky kids. The place is cute, but kind of small, so it does tend to get busy. But, it's absolutely worth the wait. On our last visit, we had the pleasure of being served by Cristy. She was so kind and sweet (service was excellent.) She suggested the chilaquiles, which I got and really enjoyed. My husband got the Gilroy Scramble and my kids got the all fruit pancakes. Such a cute little restaurant! We happened to find it driving through Gilroy and stopped in to try. It's tucked into a shopping plaza and there's both indoor and outdoor seating. They're quite small but the food was excellent and service was good. Many options for brunch, both breakfast and lunch, and a full coffee bar! We arrived around 11:15 AM on a Sunday morning and were seated within a few minutes. While the seating was a little tight, the space felt bigger, cleaner, and nicer compared to other breakfast spots in the area. I ordered the smoked salmon avocado toast, and wow--it was huge! Served on perfectly toasted sourdough with plenty of guac and a generous portion of smoked salmon. It was absolutely delicious and definitely exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, too--attentive and friendly throughout our meal. I'm already looking forward to bringing my husband back to try more of their menu. "Great floor plan " This place serves American traditional breakfast as well as an array of lunch items. I ordered their chicken fried steak & gravy which comes with 2 eggs. "Cooked how you like them" their home fries "which comes with red peppers, onions and seasoning" or hash browns, and your choice of buttered toast or muffins. I opted for the home fries, over easy eggs, and extra gravy.. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the chicken fried steak I felt was seasoned perfectly and was quite delicious. The big surprise was the gravy, "I ordered extra" I poured it over my home fries. Man did the gravy pair perfectly with the whole fries, soooo good. Pops ordered the Gilroy scrambled. "He ate everything, I couldn't believe my eyes!!" He kept saying... this place is good. :-) The service was good as well, overall a great place to come and check out. I require my service dog. She helps me. When we walked into the restaurant the lady immediately walks outside and my husband spoke up, no we want to sit inside. She said there was no room however she sat us in the back there was plenty of room. I noticed how friendly they were to everyone. Not so much with us. We had to request every single coffee refill a spoon to stir my milk in the coffee. I short we had to request every thing. We sat by the kitchen and I saw my breakfast sitting there for over five minutes. When they finally gave me my breakfast it was cold. Of course the server never asked how the food is. She gladly walked by obviously. When sat at the table for over ten minutes after we ate. Finally I had to ask for the bill. Clearly I did not tip well. The experience was sad. We got here pretty early on Mother's Day and I'm glad we did because it got busy after we left. Overall the food was great and it wasn't that busy when we arrived but they did have one server for 4 tables. We were also a party of 9 and another group of 6 came in after us and another server didn't walk in till an 1.5 hrs after us. It was very calm in the restaurant and I didn't expect it to look kind of big inside. I love that they have an outside patio to sit as well. Now the mimosas were good and we did the mimosa flight for 20. We chose pomegranate, orange, guava and mango and they were all so good but I would have to say my favorite mimosa would be mango and my fiancé was guava. Forgot to take pictures of the mimosas haha. I went and if you are someone that loves breakfast, filling portions, and excellent service, check this place out. I got a breakfast plate that came with eggs, hash browns, your choice of protein and toast and it was a good size for the price!
