Build your own sandwich. Turkey, salami, pepperchini, tomato, provolone, mustard and mayo on Dutch Crunch.

Alright, folks, gather 'round, because I'm about to spill the beans (and maybe a little wagyu juice) on a local gem that deserves all the hype. If you haven't yet discovered Milo's, consider this your official, friendly nudge in the right direction. First off, let's talk about the heart of the operation: the family behind it. The owner and his wife are genuinely two of the friendliest faces you'll ever encounter. It's clear they pour their heart and soul into this place, and it shows in every bite. Their employees have also always been very friendly and helpful. Now, for the main event(s). They've recently added takeout sandwiches, and let me tell you, these aren't your average sad little bread-and-a-prayer situations. My sandwich was so packed with meat, It was glorious, delicious, and frankly, a feat of engineering to get into my mouth. But the real MVP, the undisputed champion, the reason my nose is constantly twitching like a bloodhound's? Their chicken. I swear, when a neighbor is BBQing Milo's chicken (yes, I know the smell, don't judge), that smoky, sweet aroma wafts through the breeze and immediately triggers a response in me. It's so good, it should come with a warning label: "May cause extreme hunger and spontaneous backyard BBQ envy." And then there's the wagyu. Oh, the wagyu. If you're a fan of tender, juicy, melt-in-your-mouth perfection, prepare for a religious experience. It's not just "chef's kiss," it's "chef's full-blown passionate embrace." Seriously, it's so good, I'm pretty sure it whispered sweet nothings to my taste buds. We made the most amazing wagyu quesadillas and I just can't look at a regular quesadilla the same anymore. So, whether you're craving a sandwich and don't want the chain places with the cheap tasting meat, chicken that smells like pure happiness, or wagyu that will make you question all your previous life choices, do yourself a favor and visit Milo's. You'll be supporting a wonderful family, and your taste buds will send you a thank-you card. Just don't blame me if you start sniffing your neighbors' backyards for that chicken smell!

I can't say how disappointed I am with this business. I went in on Friday wanting a really good steak for the weekend. I must say that I was disappointed that all of their meat is Harris Ranch now. WTF? Cheaper prices at Nob Hill. FYI. I asked the counter person for a ribeye. He asked, bone-in or boneless? The counter price said $25 per pound for bone-in. I didn't really care until I got home. Bone-in was $25 per pound. Boneless was $32 per pound. So, I had a custom cut of boneless ribeye at $32 per pound. See pic. Dude left on 3 ounces of fat on the cut. Guess I will get my best meat at Costco. I will NOT be back to this place.

First time in this place and the staff was very help in what I wanted as well as their recommendations. The meat quality was perfect and I couldn't have a picked a better cut. The market itself is very clean and organized with seasonings to complement your bbq or preparations. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in the area. Thanks guys!!

WOW! Love this little gem of a butcher shop! Exceptional selection of prime meats & all of it beyond tasty! So far I've enjoyed a succulent pork belly that rendered crispy skin and juicy meat, ribeyes that melted in our mouths, tonight: thick cut NY Strips! I am totally committed to doing this research to help anyone wondering! The shop has a nice selection of produce and of course, MY favorite hot sauces! Definitely recommend stopping by and getting yourself some fine meats! You deserve it!

The nicest people ever! Hidden gem. Open 3 months now. The owner and his wife are there. I is as thrown off and did not see the digital prices on the screen. The owner wa busy, but the nicest guy helped me. I always go for seafood. $8.99/lb deveined and shelled shrimp. $7.99/lb shelled shrimp $20.99/lb large scallops $29.99/lb crab legs. Very large. I have no clue about cuts of meat. This man took the time to go threw all beef cuts with me. I ended up with the marinated strip steak. I want to cook It all right now!

    Ribeye tastiness.

Really nice place. Super clean. Super friendly people. Super good quality. A friend ours, from out of town, spent some time with us and wanted to make us a steak dinner. I don't usually cook steaks cause, frankly they make me nervous. They're expensive and I get pretty worried and stressed about messing them up. So our friend gave me a steak lesson. We got 3 ribeye steaks. On top of not liking to cook steaks, they're really not my favorite thing to eat. BUT. They turned out super tasty. That crust on them. Yum. I'd eat them again.

Ask the Community - Milo's Meat Shop

Do they sell a slab of pork rib for BBQing? If they do how much will it cost?

They sell pork ribs, both baby back and St. Louis style, for $4.49 per pound. Your cost would be based on the weight of the rack of ribs. I'm guessing a rack of ribs would cost around $15.

For a period of time, I was getting my wagyu steaks from Costco for a stellar price per pound when it was in-stock, but they stopped carrying it for a year and a half so it was time to find someplace else to get my wagyu fix. I decided one day to check out this carniceria after walking home from the local farmer's market and lo and behold, my precious wagyu strip steak was staring back at me whispering to buy it. You bet I bought the steak and on a whim too lol. It even came with a certificate of authenticity and a very nice paper bag! The market inside is very spacious and it's clear to me that they keep their store pretty clean as it did have a bleach-like odor. While their primary focus is selling various cuts of "elite" meat, they also offer a selection of marinated protein, and accoutrements. After securing the goods, my husband grilled that baby up and we devoured every sliver of medium rare goodness. It's fatty but in the best way possible and a little goes a long way in terms of getting and staying full. I will definitely be coming back here to try out other cuts of meat!

Their prices have skyrocketed since I first started going here, save yourself some money and shop at Region. Also call prior to going, if you're stopping by right when they open or a few min prior to closing. I've stopped by before to find their store surprisingly closed during their "store hours".

But I just wanted to say, yes, the food was great, the service was also very professional, and the water refill incident only happened once. After thinking about it more, I realize my previous review came off much harsher than what we actually experienced. While there were a few lapses during our visit, they didn't reflect the overall quality you usually provide. We've been coming here regularly, and this was honestly the first time anything felt off. Even then, the staff bringing out the meat were attentive and did their best to make sure we were taken care of. Looking back, it seems like it may have just been an unusually busy night or a simple miscommunication rather than a consistent service issue. I also spoke with a few people who regularly dine there and realized that the restaurant operates as a buffet, so we were expected to get our own plates. The restaurant was clean as always, and the food definitely lived up to expectations. I appreciate the effort your team puts in, and I apologize for not giving a more balanced perspective in my initial review. BTW, I also forgot to mention: my waitress/server had amazing memory.
