Entering into Sourdough, I was immediately greeted by the happy faces and welcoming greetings of the staff. The strawberry lemonade is superb, ruined all other strawberry lemonades I could possibly have at any other establishment. Also the crunchy chicken was super duper yummy. I'm so happy Sourdough & Co is in Morgan Hill. By far they are the best sandwich shop in town, and honestly the best sandwich I've had in a long time. Tonight I had a Chalula Chicken sandwich on their delicious Souedough. The bread is crispy and soft and delicious. The chicken had the perfect balance of spicy sauce and chicken chunks... it was fabulous. I split my sandwich with some people in my family and afterward realized that if I had kept it for myself I would have eaten the entire thing in a blink of an eye. It was different than any sandwich I've had and by far, the best!!! The service is amazing at this place. They all greet you when you walk in and they treat you like family. I'm thankful the ambiance in the restaurant is cafe seating and is perfect for coming in dressed as you are for a nice lunch or early dinner with friends and family. I tried this place on a Wednesday around lunch. I placed an order for pick up and my estimated pick up time was 30 minutes from when I ordered, which was to be expected. I ordered a 4 inch garlic turkey pesto sandwich on sourdough and a sandwich for my coworker. It's a smaller place with limited seating. It was pretty full and the workers were all preparing sandwiches when I arrived. One worker greeted me and told me my sandwiches were still being prepared. I'd say the time estimate was pretty accurate. The sandwich itself was pretty good. I was expecting a classic pesto sandwich with turkey breast and a light aioli, but it was sliced deli turkey and a generous amount of pesto aioli. I really enjoyed it. My only complaint was that they just threw my pickle in the plastic bag lol. I still ate it, but I didn't love that it wasn't wrapped. I'll be back to try more of their sandwiches. read more

This was my first time visiting the Sourdough in Morgan Hill. I've heard good things about Sourdough overall, so I was genuinely excited to finally try it out for myself. We were greeted politely when we walked in, but the experience quickly changed once we got to the register. The person taking my order came off rushed and unwelcoming, which was disappointing--especially since that interaction really sets the tone for the visit. I ordered the #11 Chicken Salad. When asked if I wanted it with house spread and "everything," I asked what the house spread was. When she explained the ingredients, it was done with noticeable attitude, as if my question was an inconvenience rather than a normal part of ordering. When I asked to make it a meal, I wasn't really given time to decide and felt rushed through the process. While getting my drink, I was being stared at by the same person who took my order, which only added to the discomfort after already dealing with the attitude at the register. It made the situation feel unnecessarily awkward. Because of how rushed and uncomfortable the interaction was, I didn't even get a chance to take photos of the menu or the space like I normally would. To be fair, the food did come out quickly, which I appreciated. As for the food itself, the mac and cheese was warm but stuck together, lacking the creamy texture you'd expect. The chicken sandwich was okay--about a 5/10 overall. That said, the person who brought our food and the guy preparing it were much friendlier and more pleasant, which showed that the issue seemed isolated to the register experience rather than the entire team. In total, we spent $39, and unfortunately it felt like we paid to be rushed and made uncomfortable. Customer service is everything, and when that part isn't on point, it really impacts the overall experience. Overall: 3 stars. I would visit Sourdough again, but not this location. read more

We came here to put in a large order costing about $120+ for a lunch with family on a Sunday afternoon. We wanted to get everyone a healthy sandwich lunch before getting on the road. We were assured by Roop, she was very friendly, helpful, and had a great attitude for an early Sunday morning before 11am! We ordered the chicken artichoke flatbread, 2 roast beef, 1 brisket, 1 Reuben, 1 pastrami and 1 Greek salad. We also ordered a kid's meal of Mac 'n cheese along with some cookies. Roop gave us a BOGO deal on the cookies and also provided exceptional service by coming to us and giving us sampler soup (a minestrone and another I think broccoli cheddar). The restaurant is a small mom & pop-like shop and was well-kept looking clean and bright. We waited for our to-go order and ate the soup sampler. I am a huge fan of gourmet sandwiches. When a Sourdough and Company opened in our town, I was happy to finally try them out. I have now been there twice ever since they opened a few months ago. We arrived at Sourdough and Co on a Sunday night recently to grab dinner to go. They are located near a Cinelux theaters in a nice older plaza in Morgan Hill. There is plenty of accessible parking in the large parking lot. The sandwich shop's modern decor is bright and inviting. There are a few small outdoor tables and a few tables inside for dining in. The menu on the wall is big and informative which I appreciated. The vibe is family friendly. I ordered a French Dip, Pastrami Rueben, and a bowl of clam chowder. Everything was delicious. My French Dip went very well with the Au Jus dipping sauce. The sourdough bread had the right consistency of being crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had our pickles, pepperoncinis, and extra sliced bread for the clam chowder. That was appreciated and a nice touch. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Sourdough and Company. The food was high quality. Price point is affordable. We will definitely be back. read more

This is one of the better sandwich shops in Morgan Hill. Morgan Hill was long overdue for a good sourdough sandwich restaurant. The bread makes the sandwich and I can say the bread here is outstanding. They have a unique variety of sandwiches from which to choose from and the 5-6 that I have had have all met my high expectations and I must add that they have all been very flavorfull. The staff is super friendly and make you feel welcome and the location has plenty of parking and ample room to eat there if you wish. Prices are comparable to other sandwich shops (that is to say silicon valley prices) haha not cheap, 40 + bucks for 2 with a drink and chips. S & Co. is always a solid choice for sandwiches and salads. This time I decided to try their soup and get it with a bread bowl. I ordered it for pick up and it was ready upon arrival. The staff was friendly and place looked clean when I walked in. I was really looking forward to having a nice, warm bread bowl with clam chowder on this cold rainy night. Unfortunately, they were out of bread bowls...WHAT?! For a sourdough place...ummmm, ok. The woman at the counter informed me, apologized and said I would receive a baguette. I thought that was fair since I did have to pay extra for the bread bowl. I used the restroom and came out to grab my bag. I only received a few extra slices of their baguette, not the whole thing. And definitely not enough to compensate for me paying extra. The soup was good, not my favorite clam chowder but they aren't known for that. The name is Sourdough and Co, so I figured they would have enough BREAD when I picked up dinner at 6:30pm. Or at least compensate appropriately for what they are lacking. read more

My wife and I thought it was time for a follow up review. We only frequent this location after the gym at night, so I can't comment on how service is during the day, but it feels like "Cheers" where all the workers recognize us and greets us with a smile. Our new favorite is the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The crispy onions give it a nice texture, closer to crispy fried chicken. I had such a great experience here! Roop gave absolutely amazing service super kind, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Our food was just as impressive. The sourdough was fluffy, warm, and fresh, and the French dip was incredible the perfect combination of soft bread and savory flavor. I love that you can customize your sandwich, too! I had mine with provolone, everything on it, and added avocado it was delicious. To top it all off, the macadamia cookie was the perfect sweet finish soft, buttery, and packed with flavor. My experience today was great. I was greeted by the cashier who knows the menu very well. She was also very efficient in getting our large order down. I ordered the garlic pesto turkey sandwich with a side pickle and chips (spicy dill pickle). I included lettuce, tomato, Monterey Jack, cheese and mustard (Dijon). It was our first visit and we were quite disappointed, we put in our order to eat there at 12:55pm, after 25 minutes we checked in and they seemed confused we finally received our sandwich's 35 minutes in, it appeared as though they had lost our ticket. My wife order the French dip and I ordered the brisket. Both sandwiches were not great we won't be ordering those again. They were nice and gave us two free cookies for the delay, the cookies were delicious. We will give them another try and hopefully the service and food will be better. read more

We picked up lunch today. Really tasty. Staff was really friendly. Clean and welcoming place. I think prices were reasonable, 11.99 for the 8" and it was a full sandwich. Our only thing we weren't a fan of was the pesto on the garlic pesto turkey wasn't just pesto. It's pesto and mayo mixed together. I'm really not a fan of mayo. Bread was phenomenal. If they let you buy it by the loaf I definitely would grab a few to keep on hand for dinners. We'll definitely be back. Probably the best sandwich spot in MH. Hope they do well. read more

I would give this place 100 stars if I could! It truly is my absolute favorite - I eat there at least three times a week and sometimes more, don't judge me.
