    veg bun bo hue

Had an amazing lunch here with my family while we were in Morgan Hill for a swim meet. They have a large vegetarian section of the menu with many vegan options, I had the veg bun bo hue which was delicious and came with many kinds of mock meat. In particular I really really enjoyed the vegan ham they used. My only complaint about the food is that the vegetables were a little bit chunky and too large to be bite sized. I believe they were a bit busier than usual due to the swim competition, so I'm not sure if this affected the food quality. My parents really enjoyed their pho as well and my little sister liked the chow mein. Highly recommend!

I've been coming here mainly when I'm under the weather. My usual order for pho is their brisket only pho. It's not listed in the menu but just tell it to the server, they will prepare it. Sadly, it's been 2 times already when some of the brisket meat that I got are a little chewy and hard. Even then, I still like the broth here compared to other places I've been to. I was disappointed with the fresh sugarcane juice. It doesn't taste as fresh as I had when I was younger. But I definitely had a better one somewhere else. I enjoyed the taste of the Vietnamese roll despite of its think wrapper. The deep fried chicken wings were good too but I wonder if it's the same as the fried chicken wings and the only difference is that this one has a little bit of breading and the sauce is already served on it. Calamari was okay too but rather get it to other place as I'm not really going to miss anything even without trying it. This place gets busy and maybe not enough workers as there's empty tables but it's still dirty from the last customer who ate on that table. In addition, not my table, but I overheard the other table asking questions as they might have been first timer but I can hear the annoyance on the server's tone. So definitely need to work on hiding that especially when working. To all the pho places I've tried in Morgan Hill so far, I'll say this is the best one yet so hopefully they'll be able to improve their service and maybe a little bit of their food too.

    Very unappealing dish.

The pho here's is one of the best I've had. The owner or young Asian guy is very attentive. But last time we were there they were pretty busy and my husband asked for some stir friend dish n came out under cooked n warm and it was just bad. Not ordering anything else but pho next time.

Outstanding bowl of pho and extremely fast + efficient service! And the best part -- it seems like there is actually no MSG as claimed! Really great beefy flavor and the noodles were perfectly al dente as well. Quality product in a no-frills establishment that will get the job done for you coming back from a cold day out on the coast. If I could make one suggestion it would be to add some beef tendon and meatball to the dish to make it a complete package. I have found my new go-to spot for pho and it looks like I will have to try their sister restaurant in San Jose at some point too!

Wow! I can't believe a place so unassuming in its name would have some of THE best Vietnamese food I've had in the South Bay. I'm plant-based so I was curious to see how their vegan friendly food would compare to the likes of many vegan Viet restaurants in the area. Baby... they hold their own when it comes to their pho and spring rolls because what I had was absolutely delicious. This place is a must for vegans and vegetarians. Their Veg Pho was bursting with flavor from its veggie broth, and included delicious firm rice noodles, a medley of fresh vegetables, mushrooms, and tofu. I was shocked at how flavorful the broth was and how filling this bowl ended up being. 10/10 for the pho alone. I also tried their vegan spring rolls where they use mock shrimp and pork, and wow... not only were they loaded and packed, but the combination of fresh ingredients with the mock meat was definitely some of the best I've ever had. So freaking good. I am eager to return soon so I can have these again and try more of their plant based offerings.

We decided to get a take out on a rainy day. What a treat! If you're looking for an authentic and heartwarming pho experience, Pho Morgan Hill is the place to be. This small gem offers everything you could hope for in a dining experience: incredible food, a wide selection of dishes, and genuinely friendly service that makes you feel right at home. The menu is impressive, featuring not just pho but a variety of other Vietnamese dishes. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty bowl of traditional beef pho, a savory plate of Charbroiled Chicken With Rice or a refreshing spring roll, there's something for everyone here. The broth in their pho is rich and aromatic, with just the right balance of spices, and the portions are generous--perfect for warming up on a chilly day. The staff is always welcoming, treating each customer like a valued guest. They're happy to recommend dishes, accommodate special requests. The cozy atmosphere adds to the charm. I've been coming here for Over 15 years & I've never had a bad experience. The parking lot has a lot of parking spaces. They have take out or pick up online menu. Their prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. 5/5 stars--highly recommended!

We started with the steamed clams in this garlic sauce, which were AMAZING. The sauce was so flavorful, and dipping the bread into it made it even better. We also ordered the beet salad, which was pretty good, along with the seafood linguini and seafood paella. The linguini was decent, but the seafood paella was definitely the star. It had a creamier, cheesier flavor compared to traditional paella, but it was so rich and satisfying. Service was great, and the atmosphere makes it a perfect place to sit down, relax, and enjoy your company. I've seen some reviews mentioning slow service, but honestly, I think we're just so used to being in a rush.. this felt like a nice, leisurely dining experience. I'll definitely be back to try their loaded clam chowder on Sundays!

Our server was…read morekind and doing their best, but the food quality and overall experience were not good at all. We drove almost 3 hours to visit while spending the day in the area, and honestly, we would've rather grabbed fast food instead. What made it worse was that we were hoping to treat our mom to a nice meal, but all of us ended up disliking the food. The appetizer plates we were first given were visibly dirty, so we had to ask for clean replacements right away. A few people in our group ordered the loaded clam chowder since we'd seen so many positive reviews online, but it was extremely underwhelming. The seafood tasted undercooked and the soup itself had barely any flavor. The wait time was also frustrating. We received appetizers fairly quickly, but waited almost an hour and a half for our entrees. During that time, staff kept coming by offering extra bread and refills we didn't ask for, which honestly felt more like an attempt to make up for the long delay. Meanwhile, several larger parties that arrived after us were served their meals before we were, even though our group was only 5 people. What also made the experience uncomfortable was that once our food finally arrived, we felt rushed to leave. After waiting, staff were already trying to clear plates while some of us were still eating, which felt unfair considering the delay was completely out of our control. By the time the food finally arrived, the quality just did not justify the wait. Overall, it was a very disappointing Mother's Day experience, especially after driving so far. Sadly, we won't be returning.

Bread isn't included, so make sure you also order a side of the toasted bread points. The roasted eggplant sandwich was plentiful and hearty. The Catalan style sautéed prawns were hearty, but spicy just enough. The wine menu was well curated, which I appreciate because it really does have something for everyone. If the weather is hot, you gotta do the crisp and light Chenin Blanc. If you're adventurous, try the Fiano (which isn't a common varietal), and you'll be pleasantly surprised with the fruity undertones. Both paired well with the burrata and the eggplant sandwich. Meanwhile, either of the Pinot Noirs and even the full bodied but not too spicy Syrah were nice complements to the prawns because the dish also had chorizo. It was fun to ask for recommendations and then sample before settling. By doing so, we noticed the wide variety flavor profiles of the foods and the wine pairings, which obviously, makes us want to come back. I mean, we gotta try everything now.

The service was fantastic, glasses constantly being refilled, asked us if we wanted more bread and butter and our server made some great recommendations "5 Stars" The Food: #1. They gave us 2 nice warm bread rolls with a room temperature salted butter cube. The bread at first tasted salty but then my palate caught up and oh snap! this bread was good!! 5 Stars! #2. The server recommended the beef Wellington. "I ordered it med rare, it came to me med rare" it comes with mashed potatoes and longstem broccoli with cherry tomatoes, and a wine/vinegar reduction for the Wellington. The broccoli had a nice crispness to it and were seasoned perfectly, the cherry tomatoes added some brightness. The mashed potatoes were silky smooth and paired perfectly with the Wellington. NOW THE BEEF WELLINGTON: OH MY .....GOSH!!! My eyes rolled back into my head, it was so good!! The beef was as soft as butter, I could have used a butter knife to cut it (not kidding) and it melted in my mouth. The seasoning with the dough and the spinach with the mushrooms inside nearly caused a wet dream (if you get my point) "and don't even get me started on their reduction sauce for the Wellington!" BUTTER CAKE $14.00 WARM BUTTER CAKE, FRESH STRAWBERRIES AND VANILLA BEAN ICE CREAM. Butter cake was good and paired well with strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Customer service not bad, however, it could have been better.

The food was great, but the service was sub par. We had to get up 3× to request things such as salt…read moreand pepper, more sour cream, and onion for our potatoes, and cutlery. They just weren't checking in on us. Granted we were in the corner near the entrance and kind of tucked away which was nice. The place also was not busy as it was 530 on a Sunday with plenty of open tables. But near the end, they seem to be more attentive. There's lots of parking nearby on the street and in a covered parking lot where you could charge up your car if you needed to. And easily assessable if you were in a wheelchair.
