Definitely the best banh mi I have had in Morgan Hill and maybe one of the best I have had, ever. I ordered the grilled pork banh mi and the pork was so flavorful and tender, it was fatty in the best way where it just melted and wasn't chewy at all. Pickled daikon, carrots, cucumber, jalapeño, cilantro all fresh and delicious. But the bread was what truly made this. It was absolutely freshly baked, soft and perfectly crispy on the outside without being dry whatsoever (the roof of my mouth is perfectly intact) and was so flavorful. I will dream about this banh mi. The restaurant itself is cozy and unassuming, the menu is large and I want to try everything now. The owners are so sweet and kind. Pho Saigon Corner is the place we come to satify our pho craving. Its one of the best in Morgan Hill. Customer service is great and every time we come in we are greated and they already know our order wich saves time, lol. Ambiance is relaxed and laid back. We have ordered Pho many times and the flavor is pretty consistent. All of the differnt menu items we ever orderd have been flavorful anf well prepard. Granson is very fond of the smoothies too. Menu items we have tried are the chicken pho, spring rolls, egg rolls, chicken sandwich, and my favorite the filet mignon with garlic rice. I ordered a banh mi xiu mai which is supposed to be a meatball sandwich with tomato broth which what their caption stated on their menu. When I opened the sandwich pieces of dry crumbled ground pork fell out of the sandwich. It didn't taste bad. But it didn't taste good. The dry pork crumbles mixed with the soggy bread drenched in pickled carrot and daikon made me not finish. Probably the worst banh mi I ever had. What a lifesaver!!! It was Thanksgiving day and dinner wasn't until 5, but we had to eat something since we were staying at a hotel. We were diving around and thought about Chinese, but the two places we went to were closed. As I was driving down Monterey, I saw Pho Saigon, and they had cars in front! A fairly large dining room, and the friendly worker motioned me over to the register. Thanked her for being open! I ordered two grilled chicken with vermicelli, a grilled chicken over steamed rice, and some crispy egg rolls. Everything was sooooo good! Unfortunately, we were too hungry so I didn't get pics of the vermicelli, but the other dish was just as good! Nice crispy egg rolls! I usually come in for their chicken pho, which is savory and delicious. However, we went with the grilled pork banh mi and the bbq pork banh mi. Both were outstanding. The baguette was warm, and was light and fluffy on the inside, and perfectly crispy on the outside - the way it should be. The veggies were fresh and crisp and the pork was tender and flavorful. My only complaint is they could go a little heavier on the protein/pork. The banh mi was a winner and we will definitely be back for more! read more

Garlic Noodle is one of my favorite dish and it is really good here! I ordered G2 Charbroiled Grilled Beef with Garlic Noodle, beef is so tender and yummy, and the garlic noodle also has the perfect texture, not soggy not too hard. My friends had P0 Custom Beef Noodle and Charbroiled Chicken over Steamed Rice, both of these items are ok, hope the chicken can be more 'charbroiled'. I must also mention the drink - we saw a lot of ppl having to-go drinks, so we thought it must be very good. After consulting with the server, we ordered the Pineapple Coconut smoothie, sooooooooo yummy! It is very much like Pina Colada without rum (aka Virgin Colada). This place was bombbb. We came from Santa Clara after a hike and was starving when we arrived. It was a pretty packed restaurant so we had to wait for our tables to be cleared off. I think they r a bit short staffed here so need to be a bit patient when waiting for ur order to be taken bc they r also preparing to go orders and many other things. The steak pho was so good! The broth is bomb and they give u ample noodles. The fried coconut shrimp was good as well. Nice and crispy. The combo fried rice i liked as well. We were very disappointed with the quality of our food today. The pho broth was like water, light and tasteless and the chicken was way overcooked. Some pieces were too tough for me to chew. I ended up throwing most of it away. I rarely complain but this was so bad that neither my husband or I could eat it. I called the restaurant and they offered a free order in the future. This place was clean and the food was tasty. I ordered a bowl of chicken pho without the noodles (trying to go low on the carbs). They substituted the noodles with extra vegetables. The broth was tasty and flavorful. The chicken was lean and white and tasty. Although the restaurant is a bit small, it was comfortable and clean. I didn't get a beer, but I did notice that they serve Kelly Brewery beer at this location, which is a plus because I love the Go-nuts beer from Kelly's. I actually come here often for lunch order and take out usually. The food too me is constantly great. We commonly get - Four Spring Rolls Shrimp only and the Brisket Sandwich. Amazing every time. The dining area is clean and very nice. The staff is very friendly and I've never had an issue they are great. I do however draw the line at bugs. The spider crawling under the cash register and more then a few flies on the walls. The kitchen area is visible from the lobby area and it doesn't look very clean. read more

Egg rolls had equal portion of meat and veggies (not like most places where it's mostly veggies). Tim, the new owner, is very personable and stopped by our table to chat with us. This is their second restaurant- they have another one in San Jose for the last 10 years. If you don't want to drive to San Jose, here's another spot for you. And tough luck. Pho Saigon Corner is indeed at a corner, of Monterey and Spring in particular. It's actually been around town for almost two years now, but we only just decided to try it today out of convenience and to support local. They seem to have opted against resuming indoor dining, but we were fortunate enough to have excellent weather for outdoor seating. Unfortunately, that ended up being the high point of the experience. Nem Cuon ($7.50 / 3 pc): jumbo rolls with wide slices of the nem (fermented pork) and plenty of rice noodles and lettuce. Not the absolute best nem, but more importantly, the sauce was fairly average and wasn't portioned enough for 3 rolls, maybe just 2 at best. Also, the rice paper on the last roll developed a huge gash after maybe 10-15 minutes, making it unwieldy to eat. Pho Dac Biet ($12.95 large bowl): first impression was that it was a regular-sized bowl at best, which was borne out by my lack of fullness later on. The broth was not completely right somehow, part of which I'm certain is lack of sweetness and part of which may be lack of umami flavor. At least the various meats were thinly sliced and tasted fine, and the greens and herbs both in the bowl and on the side were all fresh. However, the basil portion was pretty skimpy. Unfortunately, I can't give a higher rating because I've had better experiences up and down the state of California and even in areas that aren't Vietnamese cuisine hubs. Pho Saigon Corner needs to act like they're competing against the best, not merely against their Morgan Hill neighbors. I may not speak for everyone, but I am willing to take the time to drive out for better pho. read more

Hubby and I were in town and looking for a spot that would have food our little ones would eat (they love noodles) and this little spot fit the bill! Looks like they're still in the first month of their grand opening, but seemed to have some pretty steady business. We tried a few of their noodle dishes and were not disappointed. Flavorful with large portions, it made for a filling and family friendly meal. Mi xao don - crispy fried noodles with a topping of meats and veggies. Suited our kids well bc both the meats and veggies were tender and not over cooked so the kids didn't struggle. They loved the crispy noodles on the side and slurped up the ones that soaked up the sauce. Bun Bo hue - tasty even though not totally authentic (more mild thus not the usual super red soup, missing the pork hock and blood). The noodles were the perfect texture for me and was just about the right size where I was really full but not stuffed. Bun thit nuong - my husband really enjoyed his dish and liked that there was lemongrass used to flavor the meat even though it was subtle. As it is still their grand opening, there were some things missing from their menu, so just FYI. Service was okay. Took a little while for the food to come out (wasn't busy when we got there) and no one ever offered to refill our waters. read more

This used to be the only Vietnamese place I thought was good in town. We've eaten in and ordered countless times and although they took a long time, the food was always consistently made and taste was great. I placed an hour about two weeks ago and I received one wrong dish AND it was terrible. I ordered the chow fun with just chicken, no pork but was given chow mein with both. I immediately noticed the pork Bc it's got a red char siu coating. Then I noticed that they chopped the onion, veggies and meat in super large chunks. I wish I took a picture of one of the onion chunks, it was ridiculous. This is very different from the old management. When I tried it, it was so bland, I had to add a lot of seasonings to make it tolerable. The noodles were so clumped together as well, not mixed in with the veggies at all. My husband's garlic noodle with grilled chicken was also lacking flavor. He had to douse his with Maggi. Overall, we were extremely disappointed. I thought they had a new cook but when I drove by this week, I saw a sign that said "under new management, 15% off this month." Unfortunately, I will need to find a replacement Vietnamese place for my cravings :( read more

Found a spot that serves Bo Ne (Vietnamese sizzling steak & eggs) in Morgan Hill! It was served on a cute cow shaped sizzling platter with pate, pork meatball, onions, bell peppers, and a baguette on the side. It was very tasty. In case you were wondering about the dish's name, bo means "cow/beef" & ne means "to dodge." When the beef arrives on the sizzling platter, it's best you dodge the splattering juices! Hehe My boyfriend and I also got the Bun Bo Hue to share. The Bun Bo Hue was very flavorful. My boyfriend is very sensitive to MSG and was relieved that they didn't use any in their broth. He usually experiences symptoms shortly after consumption but experienced none here! We are spice lovers and were happy that we could ask for bird eye's chili peppers to eat with our lunch. If you want extra umami, make sure to ask for a side of mam ruoc (shrimp paste). The vegetable selection that came with the bun bo hue was also very fresh.
