Chilaquiles rojos with steak and side of beans and potatoes

This was my first time trying out this restaurant, the food was great and I would definitely recommend this place. I ordered the red chilaquiles with a side of steak. The chilaquiles had great flavor but I wouldn't say it's spicy enough. Everything was well seasoned and every bite was so good. My mom had the French toast which I did sneak a bite lol. It was a cinnamon French toast which had a swirl in the middle. We also had cafe de olla and that was alright, coffee could have been a bit warmer but overall it was still good. The place is kind of small and they have an indoor and outdoor area. They only had 1 server who was attending others, they could have used one other person to help. Overall this place was a great spot to enjoy some breakfast, I will definitely be coming back.

Decided to make a pitstop for breakfast while we were in the area and it was so worth it. Hubby had tried this place before and recommended that we try it as he was craving Cafe De Olla. We were seated immediately (we chose to sit outside). The place looked clean, we ordered our food a few minutes after sitting. For our meals, I got the skillet and hubby got the chilaquiles and it was really good. The Cafe De Olla was a little too cinnamony for me but hubby said it was pretty good. The server was so sweet and it was honestly a great time. 10/10 would recommend to come! I've heard this place gets packed during the weekends but weekdays, there was no line at 11am :)

This is my second time trying Buenos Dias Cafecito and I really like it. The food tastes just like authentic Mexican breakfasts. Ordered the chilaquiles divorciados which is essentially both green and red chilaquiles. If you are indecisive like me this is the perfect plate for you. It is paired with diced potatoes, two eggs(made to your preference) and refried beans. Every bite is filled with flavor. Everything on the plate compliments each other so well. The plate is also very big so you will leave there with a full belly. The coffee(cafe de olla) is paired nicely with the chilaquiles. The coffee has a hint of cinnamon flavor that elevates the already good coffee. They have indoor and outdoor patio so you have the choice of either or. I do recommend you to go early or else you will have to wait around 10-15 mins. It is worth the wait though.

Service and food were delicious. I had the chilaquiles (half red, half green) with carnitas and Cafe de olla. The flavors of the chilaquiles were authentic though I wished they had a bit more heat. The servers were kind and fast, and the kitchen times our meals rather well for a group of 7. The patio outside is a great option for brunch!

We where down here for a Funeral and I'm always looking for a good spot . Found Buenos and well hot damn super delicious. The chilaquiles was a great choice and I ended up adding the skirt steak wasn't disappointed. Haven't found such a good place for Chilaquiles in along time and now I find a spot that's hella far well that means I need to come back . The server gave good recommendations on green vs red sauce and she was very attentive great Service Buenos!!! The restaurant was small but really cool with pictures of Freda and colorful so all good .

My man and I were craving some authentic Mexican food and we found this gem in town, best chilaquiles! Service was great prices are fair, definitely recommend. Get there early line can get long on the mornings.

Hands down, some of the best chilaquiles I've had in a long time. The tortilla chips were perfectly crisp yet tender, soaked in a rich, flavorful sauce that had just the right balance of spice and depth. Topped with steak, fresh crema, queso, avocado and perfectly cooked eggs, every bite was comforting and satisfying. You can tell everything was made with care and quality ingredients. This is the kind of breakfast that keeps you thinking about it long after the plate is empty. Would 100% order again.

Huevos Rancheros and they were delicious

Breakfast was amazing!! I was torn between chilaquiles and huevos rancheros so I have to go back!! The cafe de olla was really good as well. The huevos rancheros were sooo delicious. We were seated right away but by the time we left there was a line waiting. The one person who got regular coffee was asked if she wanted more coffee often. I appreciate that it was more than once and didn't stop when she said no. Service is excellent and food is outstanding.

Chilaquiles verdes, café de olla, mimosa, French toast

Excellent service. Neat ambiance. Offers mimosas. Yummy cafe de olla. Authentic Mexican chilaquiles 10/10.

Needed a quick lunch while passing through Hollister, and my fellow Yelpers led us to this spot. Chilequiles were fabulous - I got half green and half red sauce and loved them both. I tried the Cafe de Olla based on Yelp's recommendation - it's a drink I had never heard of before but quite liked. The coffee aspect was faint - I think I would have preferred it as a more obviously coffee based drink - but the smooth cinnamon flavor, lightly sweetened, was pleasant. I don't have any other point of reference for Cafe de Olla so I can't tell how typical this version is, but it tastes nice and comes in a cute cup, so I recommend going for it! Our kiddo enjoyed her "Mighty Mouse Pancake" - very cute. Nice outdoor seating and colorful indoor artwork. Definitely the place for a stop if you're looking for breakfast/brunch/lunch in Hollister.

Food: I didn't want to eat anything too heavy before hiking, so I ordered the tuna melt sandwich, which unfortunately was a fail. I'm not sure how you can really mess up a tuna melt, but the bread was soggy and drenched in butter. The tuna itself was greasy and way too peppery. I couldn't even finish it because I felt like I was going to get hyperlipidemia! The onion rings were burnt, and they had run out of ranch. Their pancakes were good, though -- I guess that explains the name "Flapjacks." The restroom was disgusting, like it hadn't been cleaned in forever. There were dust mites everywhere, along with rusty and greasy areas that needed more than just a little TLC. There wasn't even any soap, so I had to use my own antibacterial wipes. The restroom felt like a gas station experience. Personally, I believe a restroom reflects the condition of the kitchen.

You can tell there is real craftsmanship in the baking. The atmosphere here perfectly encapsulates the Hollister spirit. It has that beautiful country, organic, farm-to-table feel that makes you want to stay all day. A huge shoutout to David, who did an amazing job basically building everything himself; the attention to detail in the space is stunning. The staff is top-tier as well. The initial views make you wanting more. Walk up the ramp into their bakery. They had all sorts of yummie looking #pastries to drool over. They have cookies, ice cream and a few hot and cold meals. We shared a pumpkin croissant which was topped with toasted almonds. I suggest getting it warmed up. Their selections change with the seasons so be sure to check their website on their offerings. We sat outside to admire the views. Wow. I'm so thankful to have come across this place. Perfect for sitting in silence and relaxing or to enjoy the company of good vibes. As for the rooms have very much to be desired. There are no real handicapped amenities, don't sit on the beds besides the weight of a feather. All the outlets are very old and if your devices stop working, it's probably the outlet let the plug fall out. They seem to eat in the bar area only. As alchohol makes me sick, I only ate there once. Prices are decent considering the rest of the town is overpriced so the penny pinching Board of Directors in Hollister must be slipping the money in their pockets. The have another opening for BOS. But honestly, who would want to be on the Board of Supervisors in SBC. With the thousands of new homes installed without proper drinking water, their plan is to charge you for the water you drink and that's how the charge you for your sewer services. I wouldn't drink the water here, and I don't think anyone does. The sewage goes thru a processing of sorts, mix it back with about 10-30 percent clean water and sell it back to you as DRINKABLE. Buy the bottles water and avoid drinking or bathing in the local water as they still find contaminants including pill, narcotics that people have flushed down the sewer. But now that the state has mandated that we add 25000 homes, and Destroy the land that used to supply crops, and food to 1/8 of America's you'll have to start looking elsewhere for food at a much higher price. And don't forget on that 2 hour plus commute back to what was once Beautiful Hollister to stop and get gas on the way home. COSTCO'S only 45 minutes away, so you won't lose much time if you fuel up on the way home. But be careful. Our new road construction has added multiple ROUND A BOUTS. One we call Accident hill and the other we call bumper call circle. Both are pretty dangerous as new, unexpected ones are coming in daily as we get ride of those old stop lights. It keeps our intrepid firefighters, ambulances and police plenty of work to be done instead of catching those thieves breaking into cars. And that's a reminder, DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING OF VALUE IN YOUR CAR. LOCK IT UP, INSIDE THE LOCKED UP GARAGES.
