What a fun place to unwind after a long week. We met up with family and ran into family here. Meant to be!! It was our first visit to Vines and Pints and we were impressed. The vibe felt like we were in a major city. The DJ's choice of music really made the whole experience even better. Shout out to the interior decorator. I loved the choice of canvases that lined the walls. Very grateful to have ran into this business through Yelp. Big thank you to Jorge and Jen for their patience and help with the drink menu. We showed up too late to dine from the kitchen so I will update when we finally do get to eat here.

Their food came out piping hot. You can tell the dishes were made to order and had fresh ingredients. Reasonably priced. The server (who was also the bartender) was super friendly and customer service geared, offering us tasters of multiple items on their beer menu. I just wish we had a dipping sauce for the excellent mozzarella balls, however the creamy pesto sauce from the risotto balls came in clutch for that!

Sweet ambiance, friendly service, good food, fantastic local wine list. So happy Gilroy finally has a great wine bar. No pretense, but classy and fun. Date night, girl's night, you name it, this place has the vibes! I'm a bit of a wine snob and their wine list didn't disappoint. A sprinkle of the big cult wines, plus a lovely selection of local wines. Chef even came out with a complimentary delicious vanilla bean ice cream with blueberry compote. Can't wait to come back!

What an amazing time George the owner guided us through multiple wine varietals of Pinot and Granache plus the marinated olives and flatbread pizza with jalapeño and sausage was so good. We also had the lumpia which were phenomenal and the vibe was off the chain live music Dj after and it just kept cracking on wish we could've stayed longer.

Wonderful experience and vines and pints. Great service and delicious food. We had the lumpia, flatbread, chicken and beef skewers and truffle fries. All were 10/10. We enjoyed our drinks and food in the wine room, which was so fun. Our server was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere downtown that offers both food and drinks.

The music playing was loud mariachi type which is fine by me. I'll mention that my guy friend and I are as white as they come and I was nervous going to this establishment as it's obviously geared towards the Hispanic community. However, there were no problems and we all got along just fine. I mention the race thing because unless you've been living under a rock, there's always a divide between Hispanics and whites and whatever and a lot of the community assumes it's too dangerous to be downtown at night because of that fact. I was born and raised in Gilroy I know how it goes . However I refuse to let that keep anybody from relaxing and having a good time..it's ridiculous to hate for no reason. There were no problems we had fun. Thank goodness there is an establishment open til 2am on most nights. We've been there twice so far. Second time was more crowded and it was a good time, no fights and no super drunk people Bring quarters for pool, there's only 2 tables. People were nice enough to let us play instead of claiming a table for the night. I would give 5 stars if they had shuffleboard and more pool tables. Maybe open earlier also like 12 for those that want to spend a day off practicing their pool game.

They have a huge selection of reds and their desert wine is to die for. They also host large events. I absolutely love the ambiance of the tasting room, which includes a very long tasting bar for those crowded days. By all means, allow a couple of hours for this tasting, you'll enjoy your time here. The downside, I'm currently living in MN and there's no shipping offered to that state, otherwise we would have joined a wine club.

The staff member behind the bar greeted us with a blank, deadpan stare (otherwise known as a "GenZ Stare") that made the whole interaction feel awkward from the start. When we mentioned it was our first time visiting and that we were excited to be there, there was no warmth, no enthusiasm, and no effort to tell us about the wines or the property. Even the pours seemed careless. I know this is Gilroy and not Napa, but I still expected a welcoming experience and better wine service. Unfortunately, both the service and the wine itself were disappointing. The best part of this place was definitely the beautiful grounds, which would make a gorgeous wedding setting. Maybe this place is better suited as an event venue than a wine tasting destination, but based on my experience, I would not return. The two stars are for the beautiful grounds.

We started with Sangria (both red and white) and tho I like the white a bit more, both are really good. We also had the "a little bit of both" share charcuterie, and that was much more than expected! Not fancy, but 2 cheeses, 2 meats, assorted nuts, olives (have pits be safe!) and grapes with a few slices of a nice crusty bread and these really good large cracker type bread that was just perfect to have with our sangrias. We sat outside while a great local band played, the heaters were perfectly warm, nice string lights, and a good atmosphere. We also ordered a coffee and a beer later on, but I forget what kind of beer. Was good, I just don't recall the beer or ale. Staff was pretty attentive most of the time. The reason for not 5 stars: while I was in the industry for almost 50 years, our server seemed to get bored with us at some point and we had to flag her down. It was busy so I understand but the attitude changed a bit. Also, we wanted an item on the menu from The website and it wasn't available as the website wasn't updated. Minor issue, but the server seemed annoyed. Next time I keep the menus so that doesn't happen again. Still, totally worth the visit and since I live in the area now I would love to become a regular! Next time I want to try the flatbread

It was pretty quiet when we went (only one other group outside at 1pm on a Saturday). The vibes are very chill--we came in through the side entrance and grabbed a spot in the back. There are plenty of tables and chairs available, most with umbrellas for shade; there seems to be a few tables with built in fire pits as well. There was also a stage in the back for live music, which would have been awesome to enjoy with some cold wine on a hot day. The inside area is nice, bright, quiet, and clean. They have TVs for sports, news, etc. There are a bunch of open seats and bar area with additional seating. There is a solid selection of beverages, including lots of wine and flights. Reds, whites, rosé, sparkling, and more. They also do dessert wines and bubbly cocktails! You can order most things by the glass, or full bottle. If you're not into wine, they also have a selection of beer, ciders, and non-alcoholic options! We had just had a big meal so didn't get any food, however they had a solid menu featuring items like flatbreads, sandwiches, tacos, salads, Mediterranean dishes, crostinis, and of course cheese and charcuterie plates. The woman working was friendly and helpful with answering questions and making sure we were taken care of. This is definitely a cute and fun spot to grab a drink, or whole bottle to share. I look forward to coming back and trying their food, while listening to some live music! IG: @bbnem.eats
