    Glass of French wine

Hollister needed a wine bar like crave! This is the place for wine lovers to go and get a glass( or 2) of wine. You can also purchase bottles to either drink on premises or take home to enjoy. There is a reasonable corkage fee to if you choose to enjoy it there. Crave has a few food items that pair nicely with the wine. Every day they have a list of wines that are open and sold by the glass. They do a great job of haveing a good balance of Reds, whites and sparkling wine. Is some one in your party does not like wine? Well the have you covered with several beers, and non alcoholic beverages. Crave also host event. On my last trip they had Big paw Oliver oil. I ended up buying a juicy pear balsamic vinegar. The place is very nice , beautiful wood par, and several tables. Mike and his wife are very friendly and knowledgeable about wine. Love this place!

What a great place to visit on an afternoon! Wonderful selection of wines, relaxing atmosphere, and a nice addition to downtown Hollister. I wish it was there when my daughters danced upstairs. I would have put them in more classes while I waited in Crave!

Crave has a great selection of wine, a lot of local to San Benito County. There's also a decent beer selection. Mike and Maura and their staff are friendly and knowledgeable. There are a handful of appetizers and charcuterie for sale and their space is super chill and relaxing. Once in a while they have wine tasting events that are super fun!

    Charcuterie Board. Very tasty

The music playing was loud mariachi type which is fine by me. I'll mention that my guy friend and I are as white as they come and I was nervous going to this establishment as it's obviously geared towards the Hispanic community. However, there were no problems and we all got along just fine. I mention the race thing because unless you've been living under a rock, there's always a divide between Hispanics and whites and whatever and a lot of the community assumes it's too dangerous to be downtown at night because of that fact. I was born and raised in Gilroy I know how it goes . However I refuse to let that keep anybody from relaxing and having a good time..it's ridiculous to hate for no reason. There were no problems we had fun. Thank goodness there is an establishment open til 2am on most nights. We've been there twice so far. Second time was more crowded and it was a good time, no fights and no super drunk people Bring quarters for pool, there's only 2 tables. People were nice enough to let us play instead of claiming a table for the night. I would give 5 stars if they had shuffleboard and more pool tables. Maybe open earlier also like 12 for those that want to spend a day off practicing their pool game.

Bread was delicious! Our waitress was great and super sweet to my son. Was a little bummed we went for a birthday and they didn't come sing or anything (yes we made them aware) I was super bummed! They did it for the table next to us so they do normally do it? Threw me off a bit. Fair pricing for the cuts of meat. They did give us an extra piece of bread because my son and I split a dinner. Love the environment although felt bad because I have a VERY vocal baby. Did feel a bit rushed when paying and other staff grabbing plates..

It has that old-school cowboy theme with the swinging wooden doors and a bunch of dollar bills tacked to the ceiling. Very cool spot to hang out, but unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to the look. I came in with a party of 4 and the wait for the dining area was 30-50 minutes. We managed to squeeze into a tiny table with high stools in the bar area just to get seated. We waited quite a while for service until a bartender finally made eye contact and took our order. The Food... well I ordered 12oz Tri-Tip ($32 market price): Honestly, I was disappointed. The steak was dry and lacked flavor. To make it worse, I was given a knife but no fork, so by the time I actually got a fork, my food was cold. I asked for A1 sauce to help with the dryness, but they don't carry it. My brother ordered the Grilled 1/2lb Cheeseburger and my sister and her boyfriend shared the Tri-Tip Sandwich. I ended up taking most of my meal to go because it just wasn't hitting the mark. Great place for a drink and the Western vibes, but the service and kitchen need some coordination. I almost forgot, the jalapeño poppers and the Ace apple cider was probably the best thing there for me. Dangerously delicious

Vine and pint was the same, packed but bar top was open so we grabbed a seat and ordered my wife and I some sliders as an afternoon snack! Chatted with the bar tender and learned more about the festivities going on since it was a Friday before halloween so I was curious if Gilroy was always so lively or it was just that weekend. Bartender was great and even offered me a few samples of the local brews just to try. Honestly didn't recall which things but I do recall one was a sour and ipa for the first time. But I think I enjoyed the one that tasted like a sangria. I joked about hearing that Gilroy was garlic capital so asked if there was a garlic beer since I saw somewhere there was garlic ice cream, but unfortunately there wasn't a garlic beer on tap so no luck there. Soon afterwards our sliders came and we got to enjoy our afternoon snack before heading out to locate me a sample of garlic ice cream in the garlic capital! Sliders were good and medium well! If only Gilroy was the final stop on the road trip I think I would've enjoyed a bar hoping experience since it seemed like there were plenty of bars to choose from!

I can see this street being busy and parking hard to get on a weekend. The restaurant has plenty of tables but no outside seating. There is a large bar with a great selection of wine, spirits and beer. The team serving us was welcoming and attentive. They knew their wines and were happy to make great recommendations. Our party did not get to order from the food menu because it was a preset menu for dinner. There was a buffet with a protein, vegetables, salad and dessert. I took one star off because of how greasy the food was. Other than that hiccup, I would come back here on my own. The service was outstanding - attentive but no pressure. An upscale place in downtown Gilroy. I highly recommend.
