I'll mention that my guy friend and I are as white as they come and I was nervous going to this establishment as it's obviously geared towards the Hispanic community. I mention the race thing because unless you've been living under a rock, there's always a divide between Hispanics and whites and whatever and a lot of the community assumes it's too dangerous to be downtown at night because of that fact. I was born and raised in Gilroy I know how it goes . However I refuse to let that keep anybody from relaxing and having a good time..it's ridiculous to hate for no reason. There were no problems we had fun. Thank goodness there is an establishment open til 2am on most nights. We've been there twice so far. There is a large bar with a great selection of wine, spirits and beer. The team serving us was welcoming and attentive. They knew their wines and were happy to make great recommendations. Our party did not get to order from the food menu because it was a preset menu for dinner. There was a buffet with a protein, vegetables, salad and dessert. I took one star off because of how greasy the food was. Other than that hiccup, I would come back here on my own. The service was outstanding - attentive but no pressure. We had 15 people total and needed food for that amount. I requested the food weeks in advance, took about a week to hear back. When I did, Gustavo told me what I should order for that amount of people. I took his advice and ordered the fajitas both chicken and steak, rice, beans, salsa, guacamole and chips. We finalized the details over email, he sent an invoice with the pick up time and price. Well, the day arrives my husband goes over at the agreed pick up time and it was like I never put a catering order in! He shows them the invoice and they did finally get our order made but it took over 30 mins. They were apologetic at least. When he got back and we opened the food the tray of fajitas had mostly bell peppers, definitely not enough meat for 15 people! Also don't expect the fajitas to come with tortillas apparently you have to order those separately which I didn't realize. We ended up running to the grocery store to buy tortillas. I hate to give 1 star because the food was really good but my catering experience was very disappointing.

There were only about five people sitting at the bar, no one on the floor, yet no one greeted us. I asked the bartender if it was okay for us to sit outside, and she said yes, then immediately turned back around and continued chatting with the people at the bar as if we weren't even there. We sat outside for about 10 minutes without anyone ever checking on us. I finally went back in to ask another server if we were still okay to sit outside, and she responded very rudely, like I was bothering her just by asking. After waiting even longer with no service, we decided to leave. I completely understand having a bad day or being overwhelmed but basic acknowledgment and kindness go a long way, especially in hospitality. It was really disappointing considering this was meant to be a special lunch with my mom. And it was our first time there. We will not be returning. Bummer.
