What a great place! We got there before dinner which was perfect, it gave us time to soak in the place! From the dollar bills on the ceiling to the animal heads, guns and even the fun restroom signs. When we asked for recommendations from the bartender she responded with an emphatic "steak". To get right down to it, the ribeye was one of the best I've ever had! Cooked over a wood fire- perfectly cooked and huge! My wife and friend got the skirt steak which the both swore it was the best they've ever had. I was was doubtful but it was fuckin Amazing! Service , ambience were all great. Go there now

OMG! This is hands down my favorite restaurant ever! Took my husband here for his birthday dinner. We got the ribeye steak and it was the best dinner I have ever had! The service is outstanding and the drinks are on point! Can't wait to go back!

The location was extremely local, it seemed like everyone in town was here. Didn't get a seat at the restaurant so we ordered food at the bar. There wasn't much service to speak of since we had to order at the bar. It was loud but the vibes were very local and bar like. The food was good. The steak was perfectly made. The garlic bread wasn't anything to die for. But the baked potato and the broccoli was also good.

Husband ordered the Oak firewood roasted pork chop special and I ordered the lamb chop lollipop appetizer for my dinner with a Tres Pino house salad. (See pics. Didn't take salad pic sorry. ) Everything was dee-lish!!! We will be back with the kids. The ambiance was nice, lighting was intimate and cozy. The bar looked very crafty and seemed to have every ingredient to appease your cocktail desires. Can't wait to come back!

The decor is nice with white cloth tablecloths. The menu has a lot of different choices. My wife ordered the fish special. A sole in a white wine and cream sauce with capers. I ordered veal saltimbocca ( veal with prosciutto with a white wine and caper brown sauce. My wife lived her dish. She said the fish was quite nice and the risotto was flavorful. My saltmbocca was delicious but a bit over cooked. My side were good but nothing. Special. The dessert menu had several options. My wife choose the crème burle and I a berry cup with grand manure. Both were tasty and the crème burle had a crunchy top and creamy custard. Note they have an extensive wine list including some iconic wines. Service was good the wait staff was very professional and friendly. I would say that service was a little slow but not too bad. We will be back for sure.

It was a warm late morning and we sat in their patio, and had chilaquiles and a burger - and both were excellent. Food: I didn't want to eat anything too heavy before hiking, so I ordered the tuna melt sandwich, which unfortunately was a fail. I'm not sure how you can really mess up a tuna melt, but the bread was soggy and drenched in butter. The tuna itself was greasy and way too peppery. I couldn't even finish it because I felt like I was going to get hyperlipidemia! The onion rings were burnt, and they had run out of ranch. Their pancakes were good, though -- I guess that explains the name "Flapjacks." The restroom was disgusting, like it hadn't been cleaned in forever. There were dust mites everywhere, along with rusty and greasy areas that needed more than just a little TLC. There wasn't even any soap, so I had to use my own antibacterial wipes. The restroom felt like a gas station experience. Personally, I believe a restroom reflects the condition of the kitchen.

A clam chowder starter (delicious!), a huge loaded baked potato, veggie sides that weren't mushy & garlic bread where you can taste the garlic. Elsewhere, we'd have to order those separately. The best part of our meal was our server, Maddie. She was super attentive and friendly. The place was packed and we snagged the last table before others had to wait. We figured Maddie would drop our food off and we'd never see her again, being the mad house it was. But she checked back with us at least 5 times - filled my drink without me asking. It was the best service I got all year anywhere. Thank you, Maddie, for restoring my faith in great customer service!

Good thing we live in Hollister so that we can frequent this place again. Husband and I shared the Cowboy Burger: 1/2 Angus beef with onion ring, BBQ sauce, we switched out the Jack cheese for swiss.... and we opted for a salad instead of fries. W I had a Michelada (this was ok) and a pink lemonade buzz ball. Husband had the Blind Pig. Everything was great. It was a hot day, but our servers were attentive even with the menu delay. We were chilling. Def would come back!
