The food was incredible. I got the carbonara which had very nice al dente noodles that are hard to compare anything I've tried to. The sauce was hella creamy and the bacon added just enough flavor to not be overpowering. The calamari was delicious and both dips were tasty. My gf got the lasagna and it was so thick and creamy with lots of meat and the fresh mozzarella in it and on it was fire. The cheesy bread it came with was perfect for dipping into the marinara that surrounded the whole dish. Prices are a reflection of the quality for sure at this place. We'll be back

Chicken Parmesan. The picture doesn't do it justice. Pink juices ran out. The Chicken piccata was even worse.

I received RAW CHICKEN here at two separate occasions! I gave them a second chance but this place is awful. Everything is sub par yet extremely expensive. This is not quality Italian food. I honestly don't think it qualifies as authentic Italian cuisine. You'd think for the prices it would be quality. NASTY food posing as Italian food. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK OR SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO OUT OF TOWN FOR QUALITY AND SAFE FOOD.

Service was prompt and super friendly. Loved the bread service, which is hard to find these days. Everything was delicious. Will return for sure.

I came here with a friend a few weeks ago with high hopes. Upon walking in we were not greeted at all until I finally said something. It was not busy when we went but the wait staff were more concerned about their gossip. As we were seated we were informed about their Friday appetizer deal of $2 off so we ordered two. I ordered the meraviglie del mare soup which on their website and on the menu was $28. When we got our check I had questions as to why $4 was added to my meal. To me it's a scam they offer a $2 discount for appetizers yet add the difference to your meal. The food was not that great it lacked a lot of flavor and spices. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The kitchen staff had their music super loud so it took away from the ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The big picture of the owner is tacky in my opinion but then again the name of the restaurant in Italian is boss lady/lady boss so there's a sense of entitlement.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I did provide some honest suggestions to provide tools to get the crab meat out as it was the messiest part of the meal. I do a lot of crab boils as we are a fishing family and I have never had that hard of a time trying to get the meat out of the shell. It was super mushy so I left a lot of the crab aside. I was really expecting a five star experience especially with the renovations done to this place but honestly with the scam of adding more money to a meal to make up the difference of an appetizer special just doesn't fly for me. I will never go back to this place because the people of Hollister are hard working and don't deserve to be blind sided like that. Note to owner train your staff properly. When I mentioned the price difference your staff was rude and arrogant. It wasn't about the money it's about the principle.

We tried this place for breakfast. It was great. Way too much food and that is not a bad thing, we have teenagers that loved the leftovers. Our service was quick as we were the only table in there. Will try lunch sometime.

I went there for dinner with my family. The food was great! I will definitely return. The chef was accommodating which was a plus!

This was our 2nd time dining at Capo Signora, I've tried the chicken carbonara, grilled chicken panini, clam chowder, calamari while my husband tried the lasagna, pepperoni pizza and the enselada fresca. I highly recommend this restaurant, definitely try this family run restaurant. Everything we tried was amazing, the sauces are homemade and creamy, the clam chowder was divine, you can not go wrong trying their desserts as well, we've had the cheesecake and their chocolate mousse came, we found our favorite restaurant in Hollister!

    Carbonara Pasta was REAAAALLLLYY good.

Tried Capo Signora last night and it was great. We had a party of three - the waiter was very attentive, friendly, and gave us great service. Ordered a panini, a carbonara, and spaghetti and meatballs - everyone had great things to say about their meals. Portion size was good - Will definitely go back and try some of their other menu offerings.

Beyond disgusting. Zero flavor. Drenched in oil. Way overpriced. Do better. This isn't Italian food.

I was given raw chicken parm. The waiter just said "sorry about that" and walked away. . We left and never went back.

Strategically random bbq joint located inside a convenience store....or is it the other way…read morearound??? Either way, it covers both! ... But you are really stopping in for their tri tip sandwhich, at least thats what we did. And ordered THAT and then some garlic fries...oh and the tri tip tacos...oh wait, i want the COWBOY BURGER! This was our stop in lunch on a Tuesday cause my wige and I just happened to be in the area like that. And i must say that this place is definitely worth the reason. Their tri tip sammy is their staple order and promo off their website...which i thpught tasted pretty good, but i personally like my tri tip usually NOT in a sandwhich mode . Their garlic fries were awesome, very close to ballpark flavor. The tacos tasted very good and were presented well. My holler will be for that cowboy burger. At order, i asked for the meat to be medium rare...this burger came out fat! Had some onion rings in it, some bacon, and the patty was so buttery that i smashed this mofo in like 3 minute, 1 breath kind of ish...it was THAT good! ...washed em all down with a couple glasses of water. Overall...we will be back here again the next time we are down but in order ahead and take it to go form since it is made to order meal. I recommend yall do the same

Finally stopped in for the fried chicken night…read more (First physical stay visit, only the 2nd time ordering from here. We ordered their famous tri tip sandwich a couple weeks ago to share. THAT WAS DELISH! The fried onions gave it a nice crunch and the cheddar was like enough for a non huge cheese lover in warm sandwiches. Quantity of tri tip was pretty decent. ) The fried chicken was an 8 piece bucket, with 6 jalapeño cheddar cornbread muffins -- i enjoyed this. It came with a sweet butter of some sort. Their chicken had a nice thick batter and salt flakes but we felt the chicken needed more seasoning or at least a bit more salt-- and I'm really sensitive to salt so it definitely could use more salt. OVERALL, nothing too special or unique about this chicken. The parm Brussels were yummy! And we added the apple slaw because I love sides and it didn't disappoint. The mash and gravy was fair, nothing special. Total cost of the meal was eye opening at $86 for all of this. Though portions if the sides were decent. KIND OF A LOT for a fried chicken bucket meal, I'd say. Probably wouldn't order this again but definitely will be back to try their regular menu.
