    Complimentary Anniversary Dessert
    Nathaniel P.

Would definitely come here again! The food was delicious and surprised us. The restaurant is on a golf course and had large glass windows and doors, so the scenery was beautiful for dinner time. The interior of the restaurant was newly renovated and is so spacious and elegant with a high exposed wooden beams ceiling with sky lights. My wife and I had the baked Brie for the appetizer, the Iberian Pork tenderloin and short ribs for the entree, and the Pavlova for dessert. Honestly, all of these dishes were delicious, but my favorite was the Pork tenderloin which had so much flavors in the pork and the condiments. They were also very kind to give us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary! There were a couple instances where the service could be cleaned up though. Someone else's dessert that was delivered to our table, but that was really it. The staff were kind and friendly!

    The Big Ravioli ..

So we have been here three times now and it's a nice restaurant with some great people working there. But for the three times we have went we have been repeatedly served stuck together pasta in their Chicken Marsala dish. This last time, the chef said that it's supposed to have a bite in the pasta and he is correct. But what he didn't address was that there were more than 5-6 strings of pappardelle in a few different clumps all stuck together still with dried flour on them. So they said they would re fire the order for me and it came back like what you see in the photo. Much worse that the first order that night and our side of broccolini was cold as if it was just out of the fridge. After the last order came back they offered to re fire it again and I had to just say no. I asked them to see what the chef could put out on the fly and I got short ribs. They were good but it wasn't chicken nor was it what I really wanted. Now don't get me wrong, the service is awesome and the drinks are fantastic but the menu/chef need a bit of help. If that happens, it will be a much better spot to hit in our area.

I was shocked at how good this dining experience was. First, the service was impeccable. Two people looking after our table making sure everything was perfect. The revamped space was very elegant and well done. Lastly, the food was superb. We started with tuna carpaccio and the beet salad. For mains we had seafood risotto and salmon. Finally, dessert was a chocolate cherry cake as well bread pudding bites and a truffle as a gift for our anniversary. Everything was professionally plated with attention to detail. Amazing meal without having to travel to a big city. Made my special evening into a very memorable experience.

Had such an amazing experience here. The manager (I believe his name was James) was so welcoming and checked on us multiple times. He strives to have a nice restaurant in town, where you actually have to dress nice for. The bartender Ally was SO NICE and her drinks were incredible! We had a couple of special requests and she accommodated them without hesitation. Our server was so nice, she apologized any time anything took too long even though nothing really took that long for a busy valentines night. The ambiance was so nice, we will absolutely be returning!

In Hollister on business. Didn't have a lot of expectations and then 36 knocks it out of the park! I sat at the bar and was served by a very attentive and friendly (in just the right amount) Julio. The room is gorgeous with an equally gorgeous view. If I didn't have to work tomorrow I would have finished the night on the patio watching the shadows cross the fields and fairways. I had the Apricot Chicken. I actually seek out airline/statler/French cut chicken and this was the best. The manager Mindy stopped by to check on things as well. I can't recommend highly enough

This restaurant is a gem! Food is delicious, cocktails are outstanding and the service was great! It's a really beautiful restaurant and I can't wait to go back and try more dishes! Oh and did I mention their desserts! So yummy!

Was greeted by a nice gentleman "Raul" who accommodated us with our table under the beautiful olive tree. Our waiter Sophia was also very fabulous and recommended very tasty food. I give the food and drinks 5 stars. Everything about our dinner this evening was amazing. It is also inexpensive and you get a great portion for what you pay. Not to forget they have a kids hidden menu, you need to ask what is available. My daughter had butter pasta and felt so fancy eating with how cute her food presentation was. See pictures for reference, chicken Marsala and Plum Blossom specialty drink and of course our complimentary anniversary dessert

This will be our new "go-to" in town for special occasions. The service is absolutely amazing. Both managers stopped by to check in on us & water filled/plates cleared promptly. Food presentation was beautiful (I think our party of 8 had just about everything) and delicious. This is a wonderful addition to our community!

Vine and pint was the same, packed but bar top was open so we grabbed a seat and ordered my wife and I some sliders as an afternoon snack! Chatted with the bar tender and learned more about the festivities going on since it was a Friday before halloween so I was curious if Gilroy was always so lively or it was just that weekend. Bartender was great and even offered me a few samples of the local brews just to try. Honestly didn't recall which things but I do recall one was a sour and ipa for the first time. But I think I enjoyed the one that tasted like a sangria. I joked about hearing that Gilroy was garlic capital so asked if there was a garlic beer since I saw somewhere there was garlic ice cream, but unfortunately there wasn't a garlic beer on tap so no luck there. Soon afterwards our sliders came and we got to enjoy our afternoon snack before heading out to locate me a sample of garlic ice cream in the garlic capital! Sliders were good and medium well! I can see this street being busy and parking hard to get on a weekend. The restaurant has plenty of tables but no outside seating. There is a large bar with a great selection of wine, spirits and beer. The team serving us was welcoming and attentive. They knew their wines and were happy to make great recommendations. Our party did not get to order from the food menu because it was a preset menu for dinner. There was a buffet with a protein, vegetables, salad and dessert. I took one star off because of how greasy the food was. Other than that hiccup, I would come back here on my own. The service was outstanding - attentive but no pressure. An upscale place in downtown Gilroy. I highly recommend.

The music playing was loud mariachi type which is fine by me. I'll mention that my guy friend and I are as white as they come and I was nervous going to this establishment as it's obviously geared towards the Hispanic community. However, there were no problems and we all got along just fine. I mention the race thing because unless you've been living under a rock, there's always a divide between Hispanics and whites and whatever and a lot of the community assumes it's too dangerous to be downtown at night because of that fact. I was born and raised in Gilroy I know how it goes . However I refuse to let that keep anybody from relaxing and having a good time..it's ridiculous to hate for no reason. There were no problems we had fun. Thank goodness there is an establishment open til 2am on most nights. We've been there twice so far. Second time was more crowded and it was a good time, no fights and no super drunk people Bring quarters for pool, there's only 2 tables. People were nice enough to let us play instead of claiming a table for the night. I would give 5 stars if they had shuffleboard and more pool tables. Maybe open earlier also like 12 for those that want to spend a day off practicing their pool game.

A nice selection of wine, beer in a can and on tap and small bites. You order food and drinks inside, if you get food, they give you a number and bring it out to you once it's done. I highly recommend their grilled cheese and tomato soup. I wasn't trying to get that, but the very kind servers recommended it of all things and pretty much sold me on it. It was a great and delicious purchase to pair with the beer that I got, (I'm not much of a wine person). It's a very relaxing and beautiful winery with tasting rooms all around, both indoor and outdoor seating. There are fire pits and heaters everywhere outside in case it gets cold. I with the heaters, it never got too cold during the night. The servers also came out to tell us about last call for food but reminded us we were welcome to stay as long as we'd like. Great service, good snacks, good wine (so I've heard) and good beer.

We started with Sangria (both red and white) and tho I like the white a bit more, both are really good. We also had the "a little bit of both" share charcuterie, and that was much more than expected! Not fancy, but 2 cheeses, 2 meats, assorted nuts, olives (have pits be safe!) and grapes with a few slices of a nice crusty bread and these really good large cracker type bread that was just perfect to have with our sangrias. We sat outside while a great local band played, the heaters were perfectly warm, nice string lights, and a good atmosphere. We also ordered a coffee and a beer later on, but I forget what kind of beer. Was good, I just don't recall the beer or ale. Staff was pretty attentive most of the time. The reason for not 5 stars: while I was in the industry for almost 50 years, our server seemed to get bored with us at some point and we had to flag her down. It was busy so I understand but the attitude changed a bit. Also, we wanted an item on the menu from The website and it wasn't available as the website wasn't updated. Minor issue, but the server seemed annoyed. Next time I keep the menus so that doesn't happen again. Still, totally worth the visit and since I live in the area now I would love to become a regular! The Royal combination platter was good for sharing and gave me the chance to try all the appetizers that I was craving. The tzatziki and hummus were my favorite thing on the table overall. However, the dolmas were a bit too salty and the spanakopita was a bit soggy. The combination platter had well cooked lamb and a salad with hummus and pita. The lamb was a bit bland, but had a tender texture and was a sizable portion. The chicken shawarma sandwich was also a bit bland and difficult to eat since the outside was too hard.
