Place is modern and clean. All staff greets you when you walk in the door. Santana was our server. He was super nice and kept checking on us. Food was great! Only downfall is I ordered a Diet Coke and it was in a can and not a fountain drink.

First time there and we had a good experience for a Friday night. We tried a couple new beers which were good but weird how you order by number. Our dinner was also delicious. We will be going back.

We were looking for a new spot to eat at for lunch in Gilroy. After a quick research on Yelp, Alehouse and Bistro was highly rated so we decided to give them a try. We arrived on a late Saturday afternoon for lunch. The restaurant is located in a nice plaza in Gilroy. Parking is easy and accessible in the large parking lot. Upon entering, the bistro had a clean sleek modern decor to it with an enticing bar that looked inviting. The patio was large and looked lively especially on a nice warm night. Our server/bartender Jacob was friendly and informative on the menu. We ordered a couple of happy hour drinks, strawberry sour and the island oasis. Our son got a strawberry watermelon lemonade. All our drinks were refreshing and delicious. As for food we ordered a hot stone bibimbop, kid's chicken strips, and a heirloom tomato and burrata. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. The Korean sauce for the bibimbop was so tasty and had the right amount of kick to it. The heirloom tomato and burrata was crisp and light. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Alehouse and Bistro. The local bistro atmosphere was a good vibe. I liked the Korean fusion in some of the menu options. We hope to be back again to try other dishes and the happy hour menu.

Great service , excellent food and convenient location. We sat outside so didn't get a chance to explore the interior but there were a lot of people ; young and old alike. We walked in at 7:30 pm on Friday , the place was busy , but we were lucky to get seated outdoors right away. Our server was friendly and professional, service was prompt. For appetizers we ordered the coconut prawns 4, and mahi mahi tacos 4.5, both were fresh with excellent flavors. Although the tacos were my favorite. We also ordered the Hot stone bibimbap as main course to share. Excellent flavors and generous quantity of food, it was a perfect plate to share. 4.5 Drinks were good too , bees knees 4 Overall I would definitely visit again.

I have watched this restaurant change three times. We went today and had lunch. I got the truffle burger and my friend Christa got fish and chips. Both were fabulous! Best food I've had in that restaurant ever! Always wishing my locals the very best of success! I highly recommend this restaurant! Great service great food.

Absolutely amazing food. I like the Korean fusion aspect and everything was presented well. Service was great and the bar inside looks very inviting. Prices are very reasonable.

First impression a few days ago while scheduling the reservation was smooth. I was concerned that the abundance of low scored reviews were from people complaining about their servers so I requested a great server for Friday night. The response from the very cool guy who answered the phone was, "No problem, we only have great servers Friday night". Server Nicole was perfect, salads were excellent (we've never had more delicious salads than here tonight!!), appetizers were wonderful, entrees were great, cocktails were terrific. Full house both indoors and outside. Looking forward to sharing about this fantastic restaurant with everyone I know, and also looking forward to returning!

Super good food so far. Second time going. Had a great experience with this waitress! Didn't catch her name. Even my kids chicken tenders had great flavor.

This place is awesome, super cute and the service was great as well. We ordered the steamed dumplings,to die for, pork flavorful, definitely ask for the hot sauce (Gochujang). My husband ordered the cheeseburger and I got the mahi tacos, everything seasoned perfectly and the flavors were amazing. Would definitely recommend to check it out, we will be back to try more of the menu. Oh and a nice beer menu from local brewers it looked like.

Stopped in for a quick bite and drink and I had a very pleasant experience! Wasn't that busy but the place was very clean and tidy. The bartender came over and immediately helped me. I order a drink and two appetizers. They also have happy hour Monday-Friday from 2-6 pm with a drink of the day and two dollars off beers. Definitely a great apt to check out!

We are new to the area and what a fantastic find this establishment is!! Incredibly friendly and professional staff, followed by fresh, hot, and delicious food! I started with the wedge salad and had the appetizer coconut shrimp as an entree- both exceptionally well prepared. Well done - we'll be back!

The music playing was loud mariachi type which is fine by me. I'll mention that my guy friend and I are as white as they come and I was nervous going to this establishment as it's obviously geared towards the Hispanic community. However, there were no problems and we all got along just fine. I mention the race thing because unless you've been living under a rock, there's always a divide between Hispanics and whites and whatever and a lot of the community assumes it's too dangerous to be downtown at night because of that fact. I was born and raised in Gilroy I know how it goes . However I refuse to let that keep anybody from relaxing and having a good time..it's ridiculous to hate for no reason. There were no problems we had fun. Thank goodness there is an establishment open til 2am on most nights. We've been there twice so far. Second time was more crowded and it was a good time, no fights and no super drunk people Bring quarters for pool, there's only 2 tables. People were nice enough to let us play instead of claiming a table for the night. I would give 5 stars if they had shuffleboard and more pool tables. Maybe open earlier also like 12 for those that want to spend a day off practicing their pool game.

Vine and pint was the same, packed but bar top was open so we grabbed a seat and ordered my wife and I some sliders as an afternoon snack! Chatted with the bar tender and learned more about the festivities going on since it was a Friday before halloween so I was curious if Gilroy was always so lively or it was just that weekend. Bartender was great and even offered me a few samples of the local brews just to try. Honestly didn't recall which things but I do recall one was a sour and ipa for the first time. But I think I enjoyed the one that tasted like a sangria. I joked about hearing that Gilroy was garlic capital so asked if there was a garlic beer since I saw somewhere there was garlic ice cream, but unfortunately there wasn't a garlic beer on tap so no luck there. Soon afterwards our sliders came and we got to enjoy our afternoon snack before heading out to locate me a sample of garlic ice cream in the garlic capital! Sliders were good and medium well! If only Gilroy was the final stop on the road trip I think I would've enjoyed a bar hoping experience since it seemed like there were plenty of bars to choose from!

I can see this street being busy and parking hard to get on a weekend. The restaurant has plenty of tables but no outside seating. There is a large bar with a great selection of wine, spirits and beer. The team serving us was welcoming and attentive. They knew their wines and were happy to make great recommendations. Our party did not get to order from the food menu because it was a preset menu for dinner. There was a buffet with a protein, vegetables, salad and dessert. I took one star off because of how greasy the food was. Other than that hiccup, I would come back here on my own. The service was outstanding - attentive but no pressure. An upscale place in downtown Gilroy. I highly recommend.

The staff member behind the bar greeted us with a blank, deadpan stare (otherwise known as a "GenZ Stare") that made the whole interaction feel awkward from the start. When we mentioned it was our first time visiting and that we were excited to be there, there was no warmth, no enthusiasm, and no effort to tell us about the wines or the property. Even the pours seemed careless. I know this is Gilroy and not Napa, but I still expected a welcoming experience and better wine service. Unfortunately, both the service and the wine itself were disappointing. The best part of this place was definitely the beautiful grounds, which would make a gorgeous wedding setting. Maybe this place is better suited as an event venue than a wine tasting destination, but based on my experience, I would not return. The two stars are for the beautiful grounds.

We started with Sangria (both red and white) and tho I like the white a bit more, both are really good. We also had the "a little bit of both" share charcuterie, and that was much more than expected! Not fancy, but 2 cheeses, 2 meats, assorted nuts, olives (have pits be safe!) and grapes with a few slices of a nice crusty bread and these really good large cracker type bread that was just perfect to have with our sangrias. We sat outside while a great local band played, the heaters were perfectly warm, nice string lights, and a good atmosphere. We also ordered a coffee and a beer later on, but I forget what kind of beer. Was good, I just don't recall the beer or ale. Staff was pretty attentive most of the time. The reason for not 5 stars: while I was in the industry for almost 50 years, our server seemed to get bored with us at some point and we had to flag her down. It was busy so I understand but the attitude changed a bit. Also, we wanted an item on the menu from The website and it wasn't available as the website wasn't updated. Minor issue, but the server seemed annoyed. Next time I keep the menus so that doesn't happen again. Still, totally worth the visit and since I live in the area now I would love to become a regular!
