We really enjoyed the beer selections, ambiance and the pizza here! The space is so inviting and warm. This will be a go-to from now on.

I don't think I could ever come here and not order it!! Pop's has such cool, relaxing vibe to it. It feels like home even though I live far away from Gilroy. Whether you're hungry and/or thirsty and you're in town, get off the 101 and come here. You will not be disappointed!

There is also a pool table and few arcade games! The menu is extensive with plenty of traditional bar food options and some Irish staples. Everything sounded delicious, but I opted for the Pop"s Pub burger. I figured that would be a good starting point to get a feel of how good the food is. The burger was good, but not $21.00 good. The fries were tasty ,and I really enjoyed the side salad that came with it. The burger itself came with lettuce , tomato and a house sauce (thousand island blend). The burger was cooked perfectly , and tasted pretty good. However, when you add a $10.00 IPA to the equation and throw in a tip- I was out $41.00. I didn't like my meal enough to spend that kind of money. For a burger to be this pricey, I needed more. This place seems like a cool place to chill ,watch a game, and enjoy a cold beer. I may just do that next time and skip the meal. The service was poor. Once my food was dropped off , I never heard from the lady again to check on me until she dropped off the check.

It's locally family-owned and operated, and you can absolutely feel that welcoming, community energy the second you walk in. They've got a solid lineup of beers on tap with some house staples (Farmer Nelson IPA is my personal go-to) plus rotating options that keep things interesting -- we especially love the seasonal sours. They also have sodas and chips, plus their own craft root beer, which is a fun touch. There's always a food truck parked outside (except Mondays), and we've consistently had great meals to go with our drinks. The space itself is a win: bar seating with purse hooks, several large indoor tables, and a large outdoor patio. Inside you'll find two pool tables, shuffleboard, a video game area and board games. Outside there's ping pong, which makes it extra fun for groups and kids. They also have large restrooms with baby changing tables.

They even let us bring in pizza from down the street to enjoy with our drinks. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside, plus a cozy little couch area to hang out. In the back, they have a couple of pool tables if you want something to do while you sip. They're definitely dog‑friendly, too. One of the coolest touches is the artwork on the ceiling, inspired by the owner's favorite record albums. They were setting up the stage for live music while we were there, unfortunately, we had to leave before the show started. They host a lot of events, including food trucks, which is always a bonus. Their beer selection is wide, and they offer samples so you can find the right fit. I tried the Farmer Nelson Hazy IPA and really enjoyed it. Their pours come in UK pint sizes (20 oz), which is a nice surprise. My wife had the Go Nuts Cream Ale and loved her pick as well.

Ladera Grill was recommended to me by a friend so wifey and I gave it a shot…read more #1. Parking is a premium in this area so look for the parking garage nearly across the street from them. #2. The ambience is pretty nice, they have nice animal pictures throughout the restaurant. They have indoor and outdoor seating, a full walk up or sit down bar, and TV's. 3 stars. #3. The service was fantastic, glasses constantly being refilled, asked us if we wanted more bread and butter and our server made some great recommendations "5 Stars" The Food: #1. They gave us 2 nice warm bread rolls with a room temperature salted butter cube. The bread at first tasted salty but then my palate caught up and oh snap! this bread was good!! 5 Stars! #2. The server recommended the beef Wellington. "I ordered it med rare, it came to me med rare" it comes with mashed potatoes and longstem broccoli with cherry tomatoes, and a wine/vinegar reduction for the Wellington. The broccoli had a nice crispness to it and were seasoned perfectly, the cherry tomatoes added some brightness. The mashed potatoes were silky smooth and paired perfectly with the Wellington. NOW THE BEEF WELLINGTON: OH MY .....GOSH!!! My eyes rolled back into my head, it was so good!! The beef was as soft as butter, I could have used a butter knife to cut it (not kidding) and it melted in my mouth. The seasoning with the dough and the spinach with the mushrooms inside nearly caused a wet dream (if you get my point) "and don't even get me started on their reduction sauce for the Wellington!" The waiter walked up to me and smiled and said "and I quote"... gives you goosebumps, right? Oh he knew, HE KNEW!! 5++++ Stars! #3. Wifey ordered the Grilled Salmon salad. She ate the Salmon so fast that I barely had a chance to taste it. She said she really liked it, now I did get a chance to taste the salad and I must say that it was so good that it could have been a stand alone dish. Again 5 Stars. #4. And for dessert we had tiramisu. It came plated beautifully with a raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, whipped cream, and a beautiful orchid flower. The flavor while not the best I've had was still pretty darn good 4 Stars. Overall food and dining experience at the restaurant easily hits 5 stars! Total bill for said food - tip $124 pricewise I felt it was well worth it. Oh I will be back!

Pizza, lemonade and dessert for kids priced at $12 drinks not included. We got our boys lemonade. Appetizer was Calamari which was fresh melted in your mouth. Husband had the old fashion while I had a cab sav from Paso to go with our food. I had the cioppino and my husband had the Atlantic salmon with risotto. My only comment was the crab in my cioppino was not fresh. I can tell that the crab was already cooked when added to the dish.... Yes I can tell. Overall food was great. I wouldn't order the cioppino again because of the crab. DJ was our waitress. Loved her. She made us feel like family. With a 3 and 7 year old she made us feel comfortable and interacted with our boys. Makes a difference when you have great waitresses!
