It's been awhile since the last time we went here before our recent visit. My mom and I were a little disappointed with the quality of food before but luckily we gave this restaurant another chance. To all of the food we ordered this time, we really like the mussels, fried calamari and the honey walnut prawns. We like how they serve their mussels seafood boil. It's less messy compared to other seafood boils that we've been at as they put the mussels on a plate than serving it in a bag. The Honey Walnut Prawns tastes good as it's not too much of the sauce but at the same time it's a good size to enjoy. I just hope that it's crispier next time. The fried calamari tastes good too especially when we dipped it to the white color sauce. For the service, I didn't get his name but he's amazing. He always checks on us just in case when we need help or if we needed anything. There was just one moment that ruin our recent experience. There was this one server who sends us off negative energy as it seems like she doesn't want to help us out. Luckily the other servers did instead. Overall, the food is

One of the best restaurants in Gilroy, no question about it. Every time I come here, I leave happy and full. They do an amazing job blending Cajun food with Asian fusion, and it's the kind of mix that just works. What makes this spot even better is that it brings together two great restaurants -- Jelly Fish and Pineapple Village -- both owned by the same owner. You basically get two menus in one place, and every dish feels like it's made with real care. When I'm craving Cajun food, I always go for the seafood boil. My go-to is a pound of shrimp with the head on, along with sausage, corn, and potatoes. I usually order it with the Jelly Smack flavor, which is a perfect mix of garlic, butter, and just a little bit of a bite at mild spice. The flavor is rich and addicting, and the sauce soaks into everything -- it's the kind of meal you don't mind getting messy for. On the Asian fusion side, the dishes are just as good. I usually get the Heart Attack Fried Rice, calamari, and Fisherman Prawns. The rice has this perfect balance of crispy texture and savory flavor, and the prawns are always fresh and perfectly cooked. Every dish feels like comfort food but still has that restaurant-quality presentation and taste. I've been coming here for years with my family, and everyone I've brought over the years has loved it. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, awesome vibe and the food never misses. It's one of those rare places that gets better each time you visit. Easy 5 out of 5 stars

Visiting Gilroy and looking for garlicky food on a Monday and found this restaurant. Great find with buttery garlic chunks and sauce on the Lightly Battered Yam Fries, Fried Calamari and Garlic Butter Noodles. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps had garlic too with delicious crispy rice. Toe portions were plenty and thoroughly enjoyed the garlic feast. The servers were friendly, helpful, and super nice, I would gladly come back traveling through Gilroy again

My man and I are super particular with food . And by that we mean, we have been in the food business since we were in diapers . (Thanks mom and dad) Anyways , this place is the place you want to take someone you want to impress . It's honestly not even that expensive for what you get . The drinks are spectacular. It's perfect because it's got a variety of choices on the menu . Its menu has items from different Asian cuisine . I can't wait to take my man back there for his birthday this month ! The ambience is truly what you want when it comes to enjoying delicious food and drinks , no matter who is in your party .

I'm so glad I overlooked the mix batch of reviews and decided to try this place. My mom and I were at the Outlets and she was hungry so I went on Yelp to search up food places nearby. After looking at a few food places we decided to head to Jellyfish Seafood Bar for an early dinner. A big factor why I chose Jellyfish was because I really wanted seafood boil and they had seafood boil here. I really enjoy the concept of this restaurant..seafood boil/thai food. YES YES AND YES!!! Whoever came up with this fusion..10/10 idea!!! If you want Thai food you get Thai food..if you want seafood boil you get seafood boil. Or you can get both!!! My mom and I decided to get both after looking at the menu. We got grilled oysters, garlic noodles, firecracker fried rice, and a mix of the shrimp/mussel seafood boil with jellyfish smack sauce (mix of all the sauces) hot. Everything was really good but our favorite dishes were the firecracker fried rice and the seafood boil!!! The jellyfish smack sauce was seasoned so well and it was a good level of hot..hot but enjoyable. I didn't think it was that spicy but my mom said it was spicy but good spicy. My mom kept raving about how good the jellyfish smack sauce was while we were eating..she kept saying wow this is so good. I agree with her..the sauce is amazing and when you put it on some white rice it tastes soooo good. I'm going to try to explain this..sauces at places like Boiling Crab/ Kickin Crab..etc..like seafood boil in San Jose are Vietnamese owned..therefore their sauces tends to taste like Vietnamese/Cajun flavors. For some reason even though this is a Thai/cajun restaurant the seafood boil didn't have the Asian taste to it..but more so American Louisiana taste..not sure if that's what they're going for..but regardless IT WAS SO SO SO SO SO GOOD!!! As someone who is Vietnamese and loves seafood boil I actually prefer this taste over the Asian one..both are good but if I to choose I would choose the seafood boil sauce from here. Also you need to get the firecracker fried rice!!! I think it's a must if you decide to come here. The way they seasoned the rice was delicious. Spice with a hint of basil. Perfection!!! I'm bummed out this restaurant is all the way in Gilroy. This is the first time I've been to Gilroy in possibly over 10 years. I might just have to come to the Outlets more often so I can come have lunch or dinner here again. If you are in the area give this restaurant a try. Ignore the bad reviews come by and try the food for yourself. Shout out to our wonderful server. I didn't get his name..but he was the taller guy and he was great. He kept checking in us..but of course we were doing great every time he checked because the food was so good. Great food..great service!!! Love it here!!!

Food was amazing!!! We went on a Wednesday during lunch time, table of 4. Not too busy of course lunch time during week day. My son wanted some Cajun seafood and we had never tried Jellyfish so Thought we'd give it a shot, Since it's not too far From home. We ordered the tempura bowl was deff a fave! 5/5 Half order or grilled oyster also amazing! & my son wanted some lobsters tails with their jellyfish smack sauce . Service was also great! Rachelle was very polite & would check on us I would definitely give this hidden little gem in Gilroy a try!

Come hungry and leave stuffed. Wow. So good. Passing through on our way home and we are so glad we stopped. The huge portion of fried okra for only $9 was delicious and crisp. The cowboy burger was one of the best burgers my husband said he has had. We shared the taste of NOLA and it was outstanding. We opted for the jelly fish sauce which is all flavors combined and went with mild for my son. So flavorful it was finger licking good. Service was on point. Glasses of water refilled twice and the server checked on us throughout the meal. Lots of tvs in the restaurant with a different show on each screen, giving a little bit of something for everyone. We took the rest to go but can't wait to come back.

First time getting the crabby combo! It was great as always, my only complaint is that I wished the dungeoness crab was still intact.. you can tell they had it pre opened & sliced in half already. Less flavor, less juices since the inside and head was detached. Definitely a deal breaker for this combo, or just even getting it a la carte .

Gumbo...Been to NOLA several times so I will be the judge.
    Ervin S.

Food was good but not great. Seems they are one in the same with the Thai restaurant next door. My gumbo was warm which was too bad since it should have been hotter. Rice was served in the side versus in the middle. Also, it was missing sausage or I just did not get any. Service was slow and my food came out 10 minutes earlier than my friend's food so it got even colder. Should have just put it on a warmer. From ordering to getting food it was just slow. The gumbo was good but it being cold killed it. Ambiance was generic...Is it a seafood place or cajun place?!? You can't tell so it ends up looking generic. Not a bad place to eat but there are better choices.

We started with the steamed clams in this garlic sauce, which were AMAZING. The sauce was so flavorful, and dipping the bread into it made it even better. We also ordered the beet salad, which was pretty good, along with the seafood linguini and seafood paella. The linguini was decent, but the seafood paella was definitely the star. It had a creamier, cheesier flavor compared to traditional paella, but it was so rich and satisfying. Service was great, and the atmosphere makes it a perfect place to sit down, relax, and enjoy your company. I've seen some reviews mentioning slow service, but honestly, I think we're just so used to being in a rush.. this felt like a nice, leisurely dining experience. Our server was…read morekind and doing their best, but the food quality and overall experience were not good at all. We drove almost 3 hours to visit while spending the day in the area, and honestly, we would've rather grabbed fast food instead. What made it worse was that we were hoping to treat our mom to a nice meal, but all of us ended up disliking the food. The appetizer plates we were first given were visibly dirty, so we had to ask for clean replacements right away. A few people in our group ordered the loaded clam chowder since we'd seen so many positive reviews online, but it was extremely underwhelming. The seafood tasted undercooked and the soup itself had barely any flavor. The wait time was also frustrating. We received appetizers fairly quickly, but waited almost an hour and a half for our entrees. During that time, staff kept coming by offering extra bread and refills we didn't ask for, which honestly felt more like an attempt to make up for the long delay. Meanwhile, several larger parties that arrived after us were served their meals before we were, even though our group was only 5 people. What also made the experience uncomfortable was that once our food finally arrived, we felt rushed to leave. After waiting, staff were already trying to clear plates while some of us were still eating, which felt unfair considering the delay was completely out of our control. By the time the food finally arrived, the quality just did not justify the wait. Overall, it was a very disappointing Mother's Day experience, especially after driving so far. Sadly, we won't be returning.

The Good: * Great service by the young gentleman working on 3/1 around noon. * Private shared lot with plenty of spaces. * Beers on tap and for a VERY reasonable price. I mean, yeah, they're macro brews, but for $6?? Sheesh... * Carissa's salmon was cooked almost perfectly. She thought it might've been a touch dry, but nothing egregious. * My Crab Salad Sandwich was delicious and filled with fresh crab with very little to no filler. * If you like garlic, then I highly recommend the 50¢ upgrade for them. Just don't expect any kisses afterward. :( * Great prices, especially on the kids' meals that were less than $10. The Meh: * Be aware some of their portions might be gigantic. One of the kids wanted linguine, and the waiter recommended the "half order," and even that was plenty of pasta for at least two adults. The Ugly: * I got nothing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Conclusion: Family-friendly spot for both the ambiance and being easy on the wallet--and that's not to mention the food is pretty good, too! **Their other two locations are in DTSJ and Cupertino

We like to support local family run businesses and the food has been good in the past. The wait staff are consistently friendly and mostly competent. We've been pleased that when asked about gluten-free options each time, the waiters know about 90% of the menu off the top of their heads and aren't afraid to say they need to ask the kitchen when there's an item they're not sure about, rather than guess the answer, as has happened at other restaurants. Saturday we had a group of 8 that were seated at 4:45, so not exactly rush hour. We finally had to ask for water after 15 min. It was close to an hour from when we placed our orders before the food began arriving. I had informed the waiter of an onion allergy and requested no onions anywhere on the plate, as well as subbing extra veggies for the pasta. My food arrived with onions throughout the veggies. While I appreciate that they quickly took the plate back to fix it, the new plate had only a single serving of veggies which were so undercooked that even with the steak knife if was difficult to cut, and not great to chew either. I quickly gave up and saved it to finish cooking at home. Another guest ordered the tuna fresh catch rare, and it arrived between medium and medium rare, which was quite disappointing. But at least his veggies were closer to al dente. Another small irritation was that they brought out bread and olive oil, but there were only 5 pieces for our group of 8 so we asked for another one for our end of the table, and they charged us. While we recognized many staff as longtime employees, both the food and the service didn't live up to previous visits, which is even more disappointing because we brought new people to experience their food. Given this experience, it'll probably be awhile before we go back.

Located in Hollister, this is a well known family owned attraction. Here you will find a market, a restaurant, and some fun kiddy attractions. The attractions are what brought my family and I here. After seeing social media posts about the activities, I knew I had to take my toddler here to explore. Fun attractions available are: 1) Casa de ChooChoo 2) Casa de Carousel 3) Gem Mining 4) Casa de Playground [a whole playground kiddy structure] We purchased tickets for the carousel and the train ride. The carousel seemed a little outdated and could use a little bit of maintenance. some of the seating rocked a bit- nothing unsafe but definitely had some unexpected movement. Casa de ChooChoo was by far our most favorite attraction. At $5 a ticket, this little train takes you all around the property. This was a good 12 minute ride so you aren't rushed to get the next load of riders on. The views aren't anything amazing but the seating is comfortable and you get a nice break from being on your feet. Popular purchasing staples include: fresh produce, dried fruits, spiced or candied nuts, & CDF's pomegranate wine. We walked away with some pink pineapple, assorted jerky, candy, & caramel apple. I'll have to come back and try their pomegranate wine again because of all the raving- I got a bottle a few years back as a gift but didn't enjoy it at all. Hopefully my palate has become more refined with time. LMAO! Shout out to Ric. Thank you for the delicious samples and even better convo!!
