I had stopped by for their soft opening, but the drinks were super bland and watery at the time. Gave it another try since things could have changed. A self order kiosk available for ordering now. Drinks were made quickly by staff. There's no seating dedicated to the store itself, but there's plenty of tables+chairs around the corner. I love how you can order extra shots of tea for a stronger tea taste without charge. Mixing different types of boba/toppings also does not change the pricing. You can also adjust if you want more or less toppings too. If anything, the boba itself is the star of the show. The drink itself wasn't super outstanding, but could probably be adjusted for taste with the extra tea shots. Orange grapefruit green tea was on the pulpier side. Nevertheless, it was okay. Will be back to try their other drinks since there is so much variety. The toppings are definitely more memorable to me. Overall, a fantastic boba spot choice to grab a quick drink after shopping for groceries next door!

Milk tea with pearls and boba

My favorite basic milk tea is finally in the Bay Area! It's located inside a very nice 99 ranch market store. My go to order is the milk tea with boba and pearls which basically means small and big balls. I love how the mix of toppings isn't an extra charge. The lines may look long but the service is extremely fast!

My coworker told me about this place and how it might be the top tier boba spot for both quality and price. We got the four seasons tea w/ trio topping and the four seasons tea with macchiato which is basically their milk foam. The total price came out to just under $13 in total for two drinks which for Boba is a steal nowadays. It's also kind of insane to have a three topping option for under a dollar. Sure you get less of the topping, but having the variety is unheard of. Also the drinks are one size and that size is large. Maybe 21oz. Currently, they are out of Qqube but told me that they would have more during the grand opening. The mini boba 4 seasons macchiato came with a solid 2 inches of mini boba! Very small and sweet. I would say to get 50% or less sweet if the toppings are already this sweet. The 4 seasons tea itself is kinda carroty and floral. There were four nice people working behind the counter around 5 PM. Order came out quickly under five minutes. Overall, solid and I'd come back if they can keep this quality.

San Jose got a new boba spot! 50 Lan is one of the OG boba spot, with over 600 locations in Taiwan. I enjoyed the variety of milk teas, tea lattes, fruit teas, yakult and ice cream drinks! Don't forget to add mini boba to your drink for a fun texture! Wushiland is located in Westfield Oakridge, right next to 99 Ranch Market. It's a good stop whether you're shopping or just craving a refreshing drink. Drinks I got: Roasted oolong milk tea (probably my fav, a classic drink), Earl grey latte (strong and floral!), Yakult green tea (my go to 50 Lan drink that always hits!), Ice cream Uji matcha (I didn't like the matcha).

Orange Grapefruit Green Tea

Happened to stumble upon their soft opening which started 6/26. Located right outside of 99 Ranch inside Westfield Oakridge. My first foray into Taiwan's popular bubble tea chain - this being their second bay area location (first being Fremont). Tried their Cheese Foam Four Seasons iced tea, Orange Yakult w/pearls, and Orange Grapefruit iced Green Tea all at 30% sweetness. Auto 4 stars since the fruit was definitely fresh with plenty of pulp and seeds. The bobas are mini. Even though the line was long, it was fairly quick all things considered. Maybe it was the sweetness level I chose but none of the flavors really stuck out. The kiddo definitely liked the Orange with Yakult though. Will be coming back to try them again with more sweetness.

Where's the cream lol got jasmine creama and it just didn't do it for me. Son did the ice cream roasted oolong tea and it was just ok.

I happened to stumble upon Wushiland Boba's grand opening. I was impressed by the quick service and quality of drinks. They have a self-serve kiosk at the front and a couple of cash registers to help with ordering drinks. They have great lactose and dairy-free options, including their standard milk tea, which is flagged as lactose-free. The drinks we ordered were perfect at 30% sweetness, not too sweet. The boba was perfectly sweetened and chewy. They are located in a convenient spot at the back of the mall next to 99 Ranch. That side of the mall usually has plenty of parking. I'll definitely be back to try their other drink options and recommend giving them a try if you are at Oakridge Mall.

I'm not a huge boba/milk tea fan so I guess take this as a review from someone with pretty…read moresuperficial knowledge. I tried two drinks, a Vietnamese iced coffee made less sweet and a 3/4 sweet peach... peach something. I forget the name, but the menu is small it's the peach one. Both were fantastic. Definitely on the sweet side but not "this is melted ice cream" sweet like I've had at some places. I'd still probably get the peach one 50% next time. The Vietnamese iced coffee was very intensely flavored, had a great texture, and for whatever reason wasn't as hyper-caffeinated as some I'd had. I've had some Vietnamese coffees that made me feel like I was going to bounce off the walls, this was more mellow. But it still has the strong coffee flavor I'm used to. The peach drink was super refreshing, full of peach flavor, but again the level of sugar wasn't cloying at all. And the little chunks of peach added a nice texture to the experience. Again, not an expert on milk tea/boba, but this was probably some of the best I've had, definitely the best I can remember. Inside the shop is a bit spartan but there's seating for a few groups. You order via a kiosk and then someone brings the drinks out to the counter, so it's a bit impersonal. They take credit cards and the parking lot is a little tight.

I was using the ATM at Meriwest C.U., and my daughter went to the M TeaShop to get us drinks…read more (First time here) Once I got my cash, I joined her inside the teashop. My daughter showed me what she had ordered me at the kiosk. I thought great, and took pictures of the inside of the shop (it was empty) We sat down, and noticed the height of the table was very low to the benches, and the stools were very squat, more child sized. I did think the shop was nicely decorated, and appeared clean. I asked my daughter did she see any employees when she arrived, and she replied no. I thought that was weird, and she laughed and said she ordered and paid through the kiosk. After a while a lady appear from behind the curtain, and said "Your order", no eye contact or smile. We grabbed our drinks, and walked out, taking sips of our different teas. Mine was very sweet, and my daughters was very strong, it tasted over brewed and too sweet. We really disliked her tea flavor. We were disappointed, I added water and ice to mine, it helped, my daughter's tea order was a loss.
